  • hazarikaji is great

  • I cannot hear the complete song. As the song progresses, the pain can easily be heard by a Bhupenda fan. Ae gaan tu ekhete aamar karone gaise. This is not his last song. This is his blesings...

  • apunar soranot ashirbaad bisarisu....bhupenda.....

  • Apuni gusi gol aamak aari thoi...Monot xodaye dukh thakibo. Xorute apunak dekhisilu... Aru kisu baar jodi apunak log pabo pora hole...Dukh thaki gol.

Logon ne prarthana kiya tha, aap ke tabiyat ke liye... Lata ji ne bhi kiya tha... Hum ne bhi wish kiya tha. Kaash aisa hota, kaash aapki tabiyat theek ho jaati...But be happy up there in heaven, forever.

  • God bless you Dada, now and forever. You will always be missed and remembered with love and respect.

  • May Your soul rest in peace.................

  • love u bhupen da ...

  • Miss you....

  • You are the greatest character i had admired, i admire and will always admire. Your blessings will always be with us and will miss u at all times to come. May your soul rest in peace.

  • This showed the spirit of Bhupen Hazarika who sang this song when he was ailing. The song has been sung with a context that can be understood by people after seeing this movie. I have lived in Gujarat for a large period of my life and understand the importance of this composition well but to hear Bhupen Mama sing this is amazing.

  • the feelings that u used to bring in my heart through your songs.........i just cannot explain............simply i love u.......i love ur songs......because u also loved us, assam and the country very much.

tumar bidehi atmai param shanti paok, tare kamona korisu

  • we will miss you always Bhupen da....u r in our heart...

  • we will all miss him...........

  • Bhupen'Da is my all time favourite one of great singer; but he should NOT sing this great song in Gujarati. Without singing of this song, Bhupen'Da, we Gujaratis love and respect you as a legendary singer. Personally, I can not accept this song singing such way! This type experiments should not be done with some nobel song of some perticular language;

Bhupen'Da you was Gujarat's Jamai, we salute your art, your rememberence be there always.

  • @bhagyendra1 Actually afaik he sang this from bed ridden state. That's the spirit of the man. You can clearly tell that he was ill. He will be missed.

  • @bhagyendra1 Understood. U are a Gujarati & the Bhajan is a part of your rich culture.U have put it nicely too.But one must salute the Bard's spirit. He was getting old & was ill, still he did the recording. The maestro is gone though many of us didn't want it.Even outside of India, people with an Indian & Assamese connection have grieved. His son Tej Hazarika from NY,is half Gujarati & speaks Gujarati very well. But he'll understand.Pls, aap bhi jaane do na, if the diction or anything isn't perfect.

  • @, Also, read in a interview that Priyam ji said from Canada that Dada deserves all the adulation, love, respect he got and is getting. She was such a beauty. God bless her. I think she would like dada's version too and won't mind even if it isn't perfect. After all, the feeling and the effort behind the bhajan is what matters...God bless.

  • @bhagyendra1 Yes, as many pointed out, he was ill during the recording.Yet he sang Gandhiji's favorite Bhajan. It ended up being his last recording. It's a sign of RESPECT too.So let it be na... People like me have always loved it too & have understood the meaning from the translations.

It's so sad.Dada loved and tried helping the weak, the poor and the downtrodden a lot, yet he suffered so much towards the end.Such is life sometimes. But God is blessing his beautiful soul now and forever.

  • Really gonna miss you Bhupen da.....rest in peace....

  • He was great...

  • just can't express my feelings at this hour.... brings the very face of the xudhakontho....manoj choudhury

  • He truly deserves Bharat Ratna

  • Now angels in heaven will sing for him.......

  • I am greatly distressed on the sorrowful news of the demise of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, a diamond of Assamese nation.I pray to God for his soul to rest in peace and may his everlasting songs remain evergreen for millions of years....! Akankshya Hazarika

  • he shall be alived in our heart

  • He died today!!! God Bless his soul!!!

  • R.I.P Bharatratna Bhupen Hazarika!!

  • A living legend..hope to see him all right soon.

    Get well soon..bhupen da

  • this one's good but i like the original gujarati version sung by Praful Dave,a gujarati folk singer..I heard this song in lata mangeshkar, sonu nigam and many more great singer's voices..but Praful Dave's version is amazingly unique..BTW for all my non-gujarati friend's info, this song was written by Narsinh Meha,a 14th century gujarati poet, many people mistake this song to be written by Gandhiji..

  • This song makes me want to cry. Hope he gets well soon.

  • GREAT

  • Something special.

  • long live Bhupen Da.

We pray for your quick recovery. The workd is waiting for many more beautifull songs from you

  • Beautiful version.

  • Frail and mostly bed ridden, the 85 year old maestro still adorns an indomitable spirit. Dr. Bhupen Hazarika's latest playback rendering of 'Vaishnava jana to'. Bhupen Da has again been hospitalized in Mumbai. Sincere prayers for a quick recovery of the last living balladeer of our times.
