【弁慶の引っ込み / 延年の舞 / 飛び六法 】 富樫の持参した酒をすべて飲み干してしまい、いよいよ興にのった 弁慶は延年の舞を舞い始める「これなる山水の、落ちて巌にひびく­こそ」 幼い時、延年の舞を得意とした弁慶は、ゆったりと舞う。「鳴るは­滝の水、 鳴るは滝の水」酔いが回り始めた弁慶は、時折り足のおぼつかない­姿では あるが、気持よさそうに舞を続ける。 しかし、これからの旅を思えば、ゆっくりとはしていられない。 舞いながら、自分に注意を惹きつけておいて、義経に先に発つよう­に 合図を送り、巧みに義経達を先に逃して上げます。 楽曲は急調子に盛り上がり、特異な《片シャギリ》の鳴り物が追い­立て るように演奏され、自分も富樫に礼をして、後を急いで追いかけ、­幕と なります。 後に残った弁慶は、幕外の花道で一人胸をなでおろし、 陰囃子の《飛び去り》の鳴り物にのって、勇壮な「飛び六法」を踏­んで 揚々と花道を引き込んでいきます。
