  • In this short speech,Senator Collins gives a good description of the troubling aspects in having all these "Czars"---Its obvious to me that the Executive branch is using these "Czars" to go around the legislative branch.Sen Collins makes a good point when she points out that the result of this is the diluting of the checks and balances that the founding fathers wisely wrote into the constitution. Not good.

  • "This is a prime example of what troubles me." A very polite way to saying what she was probably thinking. What the F' is going on here!" Times like these make me glad she's my Senator.

  • Susan, you are so on the ball! Keep on protecting our Constitution and the founding principles of this country! Maine people are so smart to send you to DC!

  • YES!!!! Finally SOMEONE IN WASHINGTON IS WAKING UP. GO COLLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Go get em Susan

  • Keep after them Susan and you will retain my vote!!! These Czars have to go!!

  • My goodness! A member of congress has taken time to read and understand the Constitution! What next? Actually reading and understanding a bill they vote on? So far, good job, Susie.

  • ha,ha.. more whining from Washington. Imagine Senator Collins, how THE PEOPLE feel as you and your fellow Senators dismantle our country and its founding principles.

  • it is becoming a criminal mafia

  • When you isolate power you get REALLY BIG problems. In lieu of the TONS of corruption that exist in our government I gotta say that we need to stay clear of creating hitlers and secrets.

Bad business, or is our government becoming a criminal mafia ?
