Yeah, it was sad when it finished.

Contracts were up at the end of the Seventh. To make a long story short, negotiations were made to go through with an Eighth season- well half- but things didn't work out. It's been said that the spark was just gone, you know. Understandable after seven years.

after watching and suffering through season 6 and 7, I was hoping they would go because the writing was lacking the humor and drama it had the first five seasons. So even though I miss the show, I think it was their time. They should have ended without having all that Christopher drama though.

Luke and Lorelai got together the last eppy of the fourth season, were together the fifth, broke up for a bit, but got back together, and were together through the sixth, broke up the last eppy of the sixth, then got back together the last eppy of the seventh... most of the clips are from season's four, five, and six, with a few from three i think.
