I think a project as big as Avantasia should have much, much more lights, we're talking kiss style, that goes in sync with the music, with pyro, lazers and all kinds of fog and fireworks, they should also dress nicer imo, maybe have some nice set of matching clothes that all look the same, but at the same time keeping it metal, then it would truly be a rock opera..

It's unfortunate that Avantasia does not get the massive exposure in America they should have. With acts like Trans-Siberian Orchestra becoming successful, this sort of heavy music with the "grand storytelling" aspect could be quite huge here, with the right marketing. I think even non-metal music fans could enjoy it to a certain extent. And Amanda Somerville is friggin' gorgeous....
