I heard they censored it to get it published in ONE SPECIFIC COUNTRY. But that the censor got extended to ALL countries. However the US (not this other country) actually was the first country it was published in. Therefore there efforts to get it put into other countries would have come later. Thus if you can get your hands on a copy of the game from the first few batches that were manufactured of this game, I'm guessing it IS uncensored.

I love how this game is not only one of the few awesome games based off a movie (based off a comic), but the fact that it got NO recognition in the media as a violent torture simulator even when all those stupid christian parents are screaming "think of the children" like Helen Lovejoy at Grand Theft Auto.

I like the catch phrase in the first mission when you've practically killed everyone he says: "Sucks to be them" or in the Gnucci Funeral level when he burns the guy in the oven: "That's a smell you won't forget". Thomas Jane really had a good voice for the Punisher.

It isn't very important. You still can show just as much gore as the developers hid. Shoot a guy with a shotgun about 4 times, or just once on each joint, and watch the results.

Probably because they give you alredy the informatiopn Punisher was looking ofr, killing them anyway is not thing from heros.

Although here's a tip, onse you break them, put them again in the "shield" and then use instant kill, you'll get points instead of loosing them, no matter if they're alredy broken.
