@OwlEye2010 Actually, Hippolyta's hair was black during her appearances in the 1940's.I don't think that she became a blonde until the 1960's but I'd have to check that.

@OwlEye2010 I think things like that were done intentionally to help draw contrasts between the various alternet Earths.  Basicaly, everytime they redesigned Wonder Woman to make her more modern they updated her mother as well and changed her hair. Sounds lame but not as lame as the diffrences between the various Earth's Aquamen (which is often nothing). :)

@newguy33X they are actually giant Kangas (a combination of horse and kangaroo) which are only on Paradise Island. They are characters that first appeared in All-Star Comics #8 in 1941 and were part of the pre-crisis (1941-1985) Wonder Woman history.
