  • 1 Word... Beautiful !

  • It is going to explode.

  • beautiful heads man

  • more torque than hp. thats what i like to see, gettin slideways. what turbos are they? GT30's of some sort?

  • How long did it take to install this ? .

  • infiniti g35: $10k

    performance parts: $15k

getting smoked by a $2k sportbike... priceless ;)

  • @midnightfapper Ariel Atom > Sportbike

  • still prefer the Rb26Dett but the o,p

  • What kind of gears and tires do you use for time attack?

  • @pfcrobinson Depends on the track and class I'm running in...

  • @philthy I'm thinking about twin turboing my g35 but I unno I heard a single turbo is more thermally efficient. But then again I should probably focus on getting better pistons and camshafts right to hold the power?

  • @xEmerzon u should just save up and twin charge ur G35... the best way 2 go...

  • @tima200690 yeah but won't I have to put in a lot of work on the engine to handle a twin turbo or is it not too bad?

  • @xEmerzon well for twin turbo charge nope... theres a ton of kits that u can buy thats pretty much plug and play typa kits... usually nt even cutting required 2 install it...

  • @tima200690 huh I think I'll go with twin turbos then after I put her on a diet and throw some rpf1's on her.

  • I literally just came.

  • Cool video and good looking car, but I just gotta say one thing. Slow dow the slide show. I could barely see all of one picture before the next one was rolling in.

  • should of swapped a rb26dett since you obviously have money. not hating just think you could do more with it. nice setup though. even a rb25det would be better. why is the car two colors?

  • @muscle2tuner Why is a rb26dett better? The VQ is a great engine and it has more displacement so it will have more torque and more hp with forced induction.

  • Nice job porting and polishing !!

  • nice ride

i have a quick question im not familair with Twin turbos so is each header connecter to a turbo? and when having 2 turbos can your run lower psi on the turbos yet get more power due to the higher air flow?

  • how much psi do the turbo's make?

  • question: wouldn't twin turbo mean twice the turbo lag or am i thinking about this the wrong way ?

  • @coldfuzionzxx depends on the turbosif you're running twin gt35s,it's going to have lag,if you're running twin gt28,they're going to spool up fast

  • is this made by fullrace? how much does it cost to make a custom manifold for g35?

  • That shit is straight philthy!!11one

  • is 500 hp safe for a daily setup on one of these cars im looking at a couple different cars/ engines and my goal is 500hp daily driver pavement pounder

  • I have an automatic transmission 2007 G35 Coupe, would it be possible to install single or twin turbo on it? Even if it is, would it mess it up because it isnt manual ?

  • oh my lordy lord, my rsx type s wouldnt stand a chance.... nice fuckin ride u lucky bastard (haha no offense)

  • if its alright to ask, can you tell me how much the cost of all the work was? i want to get a g35 and wanna put work on it so i kinda wanna know how much money im gonna need to go TT

  • @theedge954 ur looking at 20K+ with all supporting mods on a built block

  • holy fuck thats an incredible wheel torque gain

  • yes. 1 turbo for each cylinder bank

  • crazy ass tune man oh lots of money !

  • My stock 2007 Metallic Blue G35 has 8000 miles, I think its getting close to Turbo Time. How much did the whole setup cost you ?

  • want a G35 BLk/Blk so bad......;P

  • how much for the setup after all said and done? im thinking about getting a g35 and twin turbo or supercharge. what do you advise?

  • Bad ass vid. But the cost of all this plus the price of a twin turbo kit vs the price of an RB26DETT engine swap.... which is better? You've pretty much maximized the potential of the engine while the RB26 has almost endless possibilities.

Not hating whatsoever, just curious as to what my next move should be.

  • RB26 is a great motor, but it doesn't produce the low/mid trq that the VQ does... Coming off corners in the timeattack races it makes a huge difference and one of the reason why the car has been so successful racing...

  • @angryforce15

By now im sure you have seen Sound Performance videos of their 350Z making over 1000ho to the wheels, on a stock drive train. The VQ motor has potential, why do you think nissan retired the RB??? RB26 weak point is the oiling and how they designed it. An after market oil pump will fix that problem.

  • There really isn't enough stars to vote for this complete build up vid!!! Much respect and sweet build!!! This had to kill you in the pockets big time but the outcome is so worth it!! If you have the bank for a build like this, go for it!!! A fine tuned and boosted VQ is freak'n sweet any damn day of the week!!! 5*'s

  • SWEET

  • nice car dude

  • sweet car, alot of work put in and alot came out lol

  • My neighbor has almost the exact same set up on his G35, he built the entire thing by himself and he's putting down a power curve like that but i think has 650rwhp. The thing is, I don't remember his G pulling like that above 100mph. sick car man, very sick.

  • wow... must... win... lottery... lol yea I want money so I can do a nice project like that.

  • serious business..nice..

  • nice

but what`s the name of the music?

  • @tunnar79

    'Killing in the name of'

    Rage Against The Machine

  • sick car man

  • wow no need to be a douchebag dude..

  • I smoothed the ports up on my old chevy BB 402 and a little trick is to take the intake gasket and use it to match the heads to the intake ports. put it in place and a light coat of paint to overspray it to show what needs to be removed ,both the heads and manifold ports. But i'am sure you all know this. Great job on the G35, thanks for sharing the video.

  • somebodys got money

  • @upurnose46 Somebody knows how to spend money.. ahha

  • very nice

  • nice blowoff value local.

  • DUDE, loving everything I just saw. That Is my dream ride right there, sooo nice, great song also.

  • hey like how much did it cost u to fix that car

  • Great car but man I have to say the nissan V6 engines sound so very boring / numbing.

  • im planning on putting a vk56 in my g35 someday... yours looks beautiful, cheers on the accomplishment

  • the car is awesome, except that greddy front bumper... that's an eye sore.

  • Very nice! Someone that actually goes to the trouble of doing things the right way.

  • wow... looks like a lot of work where put on that car. Great work on the CNC machines and boring out yourself. A+

  • veryyy nice man

  • damn thats nice, i know that was a very expensive build

  • you think a twin turbo will work good on a A/T g35

  • With the quality valve body upgrades that exist today for the G35 A/T absolutely...

  • You sponsored or all of it is your own bank?

  • An automatic trans is a lot easier to modify and can generally handle a lot more torque than a manual.

  • i cant remember the exact number, but if an engine is rated at 300hp and goes into a manual and automatic, something like 20% of the hp is lost to the wheels with an automatic (240hp). and torque is needed for drifting and i dont think anyones rolling with an automatic, so i dont think so man lol

  • I don't want to sound like a dick. But i build transmissions. The reason they don't "roll with automatics" when drifting is because automatics won't hold a gear unless it uses full manual 1 2 3 4 and 5. Drag teams use automatics because they handle more torque and are more consistent than the human manual shift driver. How many 1500+ hp cars have you seen with a manual gear box?

  • G35 Automatic transmissions can't hold a LOT of power, so I wouldn't see it being ideal if you're going to pass like 450WHP. But I get what you're saying, people with like 8 second cars are running 3 Gear Automatic Transmissions or w/e, but it's cheaper for manuals to just replace the clutch if they're going to stick with like 500HP at most.

  • You guys are missing the point of my comment. I simply stated that automatics are easier to modify and WHEN modified handle more torque than a manual shift transmission. The reason i posted this comment in the first place was to answer an individual's question: "I have an automatic, is it capable of handling being twin turbocharged?" If you would like further explanation, feel free to message me and I'll gladly explain.

  • g35s are shiftable auto tho so it has the same power as the manual... autos only lose HP because they tend to shift early when floored.

  • Most manual transmission use a fluid coupling and it loses more power as power goes up. They also can't put out as much torque as a manual transmission. The exception to this is dual clutch transmissions or electro-mechanical clutches like Ferrari uses.

  • why do ppl always insist on using body kits where they are not needed. g35 doesn't need a body kit...all it needs is to be lowered 1 1/2 inches, rims, and maybe a lip.

  • lol - you're kidding right..? Do your research on my G35, it's the fastest G35 TimeAttack car in the country, if not the world...

I think we know a thing or two about making this car fast...

  • thats yur opinion.....if someone wants 2 put a body kit thats their choice. either u try 2 change their choice or live with it. nuff said

  • awesome car and awesome song. i shall now get a g35

  • Sweeeet, I would love to have it done on my G.

  • damn, those cars are sexy, i like the newer G37's though... they look better, and their sound is really nice

  • i love watching things i cant afford on my G35

  • lol

its still fkin hott even when its stock

  • song is killing in the name of- by rage against the machine

  • Looks like somebody gave a lot of attention that engine. Nice to see that somebody out there is building it right instead of just sticking TT in there and letting in run with everything else stock

  • what the name of this song?

  • you should put that in a new 370 z or infinity g37

  • yeah except....he owns a g35

  • lol, owned.

    Shit's ridiculous...

  • Hi, Ireally enjoyed your video. Do you have any of the car racing after competion ?

I got a stock G35 and love it, but yours has a bit more gitty up.

    Let me know.. ChefGiovanni

  • what was all that shaving for on the cylinder head?

  • port and polish for more air flow ;)

  • those torque numbers are sick. I have a g sedan cause it was cheaper to buy but i would love to do that to a sedan talk about sleeper. I know you love killing the rice that is out there

  • the beat was sick

  • this g35 is fast as fuck i bett

  • Sick Fucking Build

  • ur 1 hell of a sick man

    big respect

  • at 113 you can see theres a clutch and flywheel . its stick folks.

  • philthy?

did you enlarge your combustion chamber?

    was there a big difference?

  • Yes, complete HeadGames Motorworks port & polish job - Ferrea valvetrain...

  • That engine work is sick bro but PLEASE tell me its not an auto!

  • Absolutely NOT - lol... 6MT

  • damn nice job would love to have the money to do something like that

  • ha ha ha this is funny ... isn't racing suppose to be a happy enjoyable time?

  • Awesome job bro, dont listen to those hatetuber knowitall...

  • Come to any east coast time attack event and do your trash talking on the track...

  • pretty sure his g35 isnt "fully modded"..yea alot is done to it but i'm sure he could get much more power if he really wanted..and why don't you post a vid of your supra

  • I run the turbo's and engine calibration that I do because I time attack the car...

  • Dude all that job, polish, increase displacement exhaust, fuel pump, blablabl just for 636bhp=572whp... pssss

Dude i have a 1997 Supra stock internal, stock Twin Turbos with couple of trick giving me 527whp.... 3.0L engine you have a 3.5... You need a better Machine Shop and a better mechanic...

  • Congrats to you for owning a Supra, great car...

I wasn't going for all out power and limiting factor is my turbo selection - the car was built for roadracing and time attack and it's been kicking butt in Modified RWD Class...

I invite you to bring your Supra out to an event and race me - I'll even turn off my boost controller and run my car @ 450whp... Until that day, keep your bench racing to yourself.

  • nice torque number's but still kind of weak on the horse power number's bro with a TT. i would of expected atleast 6 to 700rwhp.

  • tht thing was nasty :D

  • yo nice ride dude, just want to know how much is your turbo set up cost.

  • lamp is back...and i love it

  • Did you go with the cosworth big block or is that still the same engine just bored out? Nice looking VQ!

  • holy shit, nice car bro!

  • If u dont mind me asking, what TT u bought? is it HKS? Check on my Skyline 350GT video and tell me what you think. I'm planning to TT with HKS on my Skyline 350GT, but I'm still doing research on it.... Nice video btw, - Jin Hauski

  • put a BOV!! that will be perfect!

  • You're dumb.

  • 1:53 into the vid... HKS BOV

  • i actually expected the speedo to move a lot quicker... like all the 600 hp cobra speedos do

  • nice video but, the car is not fast as hell! think is better for them to use two small turbo, so that the BAR or BOOST increase faster and more efficient!! that is the point.. im not lying!

  • Does anyone know a good technical instiute to work on/Modify cars. From adding turbo's, all aftermarket parts and boosting performance and such? I was thinking of UTI (Universal Technical Insitute)

  • Wyotech. that's the only other one i know of.

  • nice to see the engine block, never knew the VQ is has a sort of VR6 layout

  • how long did it take to port everything? i did cylinder heads once and it took me a long time...

  • I really hate to ask (as most people prefer not to discuss it) but roughly how much do you have invested in the car so far ??

  • nice work phill!

  • Very nicely done man. It's also about time I've seen people add a port & polish into the build. IMO one of the best things you can do to a car performance wise, and it doubles as a damn good FI starting point.

If I was going to build a G35, I would have put it together the same way you did. Big thumbs up.

  • that car is so sweet. watch more videos here:

    w w w. theG35SPOT .c o m

  • Well done!

how much cost a port and polish on that engine? PM me if you prefer, thanks!

  • what are those cone-shaped things called at 0:16 and 0:47? still trying to learn more about engines.

  • those are called valves. they move up and down, 2 let in fuel/air on the intake stroke and the other 2 let out exhaust on the exhaust stroke.

  • I have the issue of Turbo your car was in, and I just wanted to say nice job, that thing is beautiful inside and out, and it is so much nicer than the other G35 in there. Wish I had 730hp, haha.

  • Thanks so much... Just added an NOS system and a few more goodies... New vids will be posted soon...

  • What was the body shop you went too and where is it at because i'm sort of in your area. I have the magazine your car was in VERY NICE in and out.

  • awsome job, looks like you got some awsome shop, but slow down the video on the pic flips. that made me dizzzzzyyyyy

  • Thanks and will do - Just finishing up next stage of mods and will post up some new vids soon...

  • fuck, i am jealous. Not only do you have a g35, but you have a much more powerful one :)

  • werent you on that magazine? awsome G.

  • It was on the cover and featured in the Dec issue of Turbo magazine...

  • who did the port work for ya??

  • Dave @ HeadGames Motorworks...

  • cool do they do a good job and what cfm u got

  • i want to hear the engine dont put music its stupid.

  • look at my other vids - I have the same clips in this vid with out music...

  • what are you doing in the biggening of the video?? smothing out the air ducks for more flow ????

  • Port and Polishing the heads...

  • however g35's r 30 grand ferraris are 200grand not really compairable

  • dude great video and awesome G

  • hey, why didnt you get potatos?

gt28r's breathe a little wheezy on the top side.

You should make me happy and slap some t88's in there :D haha

  • The car primary build purpose is roadracing, and the gt28's are the perfect turbo for that application on this motor... Definitely leaving some top end power on the table for sure, but full boost @ 3200rpms is exactly what I was looking for...

  • hay where can you buy there garret turbos and whats the base price and the highest price for these turbos

  • does it even pass emissions?? lol. Anyways, that's a savage car, i'm gettin an 06 0or 07 so i'll be in a g35 in about a lil less than a year from now. 6 Speed of course.

  • Cars registered as a collector and has a valid sticker - no sniffer required :)

  • Dude's going to be digging all sorts of crap out of that Blow-off valve the way its mounted...

  • lol - after thousands of miles the BOV looks like new with out any 'crap' on it...

  • man someone has money wish I did.

  • KILLING IN THE NAME, the first 4 words in the song...

  • nice G35. wuts the song?

  • it's rage against the machine

  • wow man this is so fucking awesome... mad maddd props... ur prob pushing mid to high 11's in this thing per 1/4 mile with 670 Crank HP damn...

Get some more videos up for this man! and I am getting a G35 coupe next year and paying u to turbo it up.. lol

  • does ur car weigh 10tonne ? cuz your car shud rocket off running 16.5psi on twin turbos

  • Not 10 tons, but at the time this vid was taken about 3600lbs plus myself and passenger, another 350 pounds, so arpx 4000lbs...

60-120+mph in 7 seconds, yeah it's real slow...

now go back to google racing boys..

  • tbh that is slow, my pals punto gt 1.3 turbo does 0-120 in 8.5 secs :/

  • punto..? lol

  • more like 10 seconds. anyway nice car. awesome power

  • Rage Against The Machine !!!!!! yes!

  • i dont think the hp numbers are correct. for that much power it taking way to long to pull though that gear. i heard the BOV but i seriouslly doubt your running 16.5psi. the only logical thing would be if you changed your gears for your axle. but why would you do that?

  • yea, those numbers don't seem right.

  • I think you're gunna need a bigger gauge, buddy. ^_^

    Nice car.

  • dayum, wish i could do that to my g35 coupe :(

  • was hoping for some action....

now i think ill go see if i can play the ratm song on guitar! \m/

  • god this shit is taking forever to load. but cool ride. did they bore and stroke the engine and/or blueprint it? i get like 2 seconds of vid for every 2 minutes waited. o yeah danielmunoz. fuck hondas. the civic has been out for how many decades and is still struggling to get 200hp down? pathetic. and to emphasize what bobsasleep said:

racing in a 9 second honda is like coming out of the closet.

you may suprise everyone at first, but in the end you're still gay

  • THAT WAS SEXY

  • I have a question to ask to the pros that own a g35. I am now beginning to fix up my 05 G35 coupe. I want to spend about $1000 on little things to have more performance. I am starting with Air intake. What brand do you recommend for max performance? Then what next?

  • as he sayd

How much did u pay to get the engine rebuilt and the turbo?
