  • ...give the man his bus pass and put him to bed, before he wets himself...it's crap.

  • I hope I can still rock at 70 and have my hair. Legend I've gotta go see him live.

  • Fantastic!

  • I can NOT believe this man is not yet in the

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame..

    Sometimes flowers aren't enough.

  • The man is a real star. So many of my favourite songs are written by this great man. Thank you Ian.....

  • The man is my rock and roll hero.

  • Ian just doesnt stop. Such a great songwriter and singer. :)

  • was this on jonathan ross? remeber watchin it was drunk tho

  • God save Ian Hunter. This is a great song. In my opinion, we gotta get those men and women out of the Middle East and home to USA, Canada, Australia, UK, etc. A million armed forces could die, and the same problem will still be there.

The war is a bottomless pit.

  • i love this:)

  • Wow I'm surprised to see all the positive comments here, I saw this and thought he was really awful, painfully out of tune. I expect the majority of people could hit the notes better than he did. Perhaps you guys like the tone of his voice which is fair enough, but for me Mumford and Sons were much better.

  • @jon2cool i think ian was supererb he had a great american rock song and preformed it like a legend

  • @jon2cool You're entitled to your opinion, of course. I saw Mr Hunter and his band play the Barbican the previous night - he hit every note and nobody else put a foot wrong in a blistering show.

He was clearly tired for this performance - which was probably put in as an extra to his European Tour. But with 70 years on the clock, a back catalogue of over 300 songs and more than 40 years of playing some of the best rock you'll ever hear, I think you can grant a rock legend an off night!

  • Ian hunter and the rant band stole the show that night Ian hunter rocks period

  • City Winery shows were friggin amazing! Ian Hunter rules! And hurrah for James Mastro on guitar!

  • My dad's up there :)

  • @mastrokid

Hi. LOVE your dad's playing. What kind of guitar is he playing on the video?

  • 70 years old (soon to be 71) and Ian stills rocks!!

  • Hi,

Does anyone know what guitar the guitarist in the right (James Mastro) is playing?

  • @ckolonko yup it's a hanson cigno or something like that

  • @mastrokid thanks.

  • @mastrokid It is a Hanson Cigno. Set Neck 3X P-90's and all Mahogony. It has sustain for days, I have one.

  • Once again thanks for last October!

  • This was the best performance on Jools Holland by anybody ever !!!

They should give an entire show over to Ian - he is just the best.

  • Great song, fantastic performance, best on the show that night :)

  • This is why I love Jools Holland's show; to my shame, I'd never heard anything by Ian until last night. What a song! And I'm getting into his back catalog at the moment. Great show for finding hidden gems :)

  • @rch51 Check out the Yui Orta album he did with Mick Ronson. :)

  • @UnfinishedTympani

Anyone know where/how to get this song in MP3 format?

  • absolutely brilliant.....

  • Just love Ians Music
