just one question...I have the redsea calcium, alkalinity and phosphate combo but it is kind of confusing at the time at reading the result of the test..my question is if when reading the results I have to look at the amount left tritation in the syringe or the amount of tritation that I used?
@claya94 They are not bad, they will give you good readings, if you don't mind to be off here and there. I personally don't use my API anymore simply because I wanted greater accuracy and the titration process is very easy with RedSea. API served me well but Hannah, RedSea and Salifert are higher quality tests that most reefer would agree if they have the chance to test them.
gotta love hanna checkers..I have them all,and would never go back to regular test kits again...cant wait for the nitrate checker..thanks BRS for this vid
bad to say to people that you could add the reagent back if wanted. Never do this. This is a grounds for cross contamination and could jeopardize the kit.
What do you think of those test strip things? They seem easy you just dip them in your tank and they read 5/9 different readings depending on what type you use.
API???

Remember to clean the vial before using the Hanna checker, even a thumbprint can effect the reading.

Very nice comparison guys!
After seeing the price difference from RedSea and Hannah I bought the RedSea combo pack and I love them as well.
After 2 or 3 tests, I can be as fast as an Hannah Checker.
