hey, i have an esky 6-ch transmitter and whenever i hit the throttle up bottun the controls go extremely messed up. Does any1 have an idea how to stop this so i can do 3D flight.?
well, the thottle up keeps the motor speed at max and makes it so you only change the pitch. you want to get to half stick before you hit the throttle up switch, then quickly catch the heli cuz the pitch will go to 0, so you have to push the stick up more to provide the pitch you need to stay aloft.
So could you do that in real life? if you can do it on this simulator? Because I see a lot of people doing this cool stuff on simulators but never in real life.
It would be cool if someone had a video like this except in real life.
Wow, very cool and very hard! Well done to you! Like painscrape I am ex fixed wing and after months of trying this manoeuvre still haven't a clue :-0 May I ask how you uploaded your recording to you tube? It doesn't recognise PXF files?
i cant wait 2 get this sim we dont have it in the usa but its coming in october i am hoping that this will help me learn 3d fying i have the trex 250, the rave 450 and i just got a protos 500 i only fly the 250 for now and im really hoping that the phoenix is going 2 help me along is there a big difference from the moves u learn on the sim as 2 when u try them on the field? looking for some insight please heli me.
I can finally do the pf pretty good on the sim now, keeping the heli on the same spot. I tried it for real about 4 times now, pretty scary yet, makes my heart pound a lot faster (love that :P) Try doing them on the sim with different heli's of different sizes at different sim speeds. That's a good way to prepare for the real thing. I think it's more difficult with smaller heli's, they drop much faster so you have to work your collective stick more precise.
Nice work, man... I personally will NEVER be able to do PFs... Years of Fixed wing extreme 3D-flying spoiled me. Can't really get warm with Helis. Basic stuff up to hurricanes and funnels (both up- right and inverted and both of that fore- and backwards) are the highest for me. When it comes to pirouetting-maneuvers I flatout suck. Can't force my fingers to act sensitive enough. The curse of hardcore fixed wind 3D. :(
When i started doing piro maneuvers i never thought i could learn them but now they are not so hard .Easy on the sim but a little harder for real .Just alot of practis and then more practis . /Eklund
wow, control!
are those double piro flips?

Some people seem to make large cyclic movements to do that same job. You seem to get it done with tiny cyclic circles.

Great flying though. Very good.
