@uchiajason there are plenty of videos on youtube on how to do it, its quite easy, you only need to clear up the two sides of the xbox (or the top and bottom, depending on how you let ur xbox sit, horizontally or vertically)

guys i´ve found out that xbox 360´s made in or after 2008 are fixed and wont overheat!! but you shouldent place it at a radiator while having it standing horizontal in a place where there arent any good ventilation..

i have the halo 3 edition and it has gotten RROD 15+ times. I unplug everything and reset it a couple times and it fixes itself... I have also gotten black screen and E74 error message 20+ times... I apply the same method to fix it... I think its finally about to die though because now it overheats frequently and the disc tray doesn't read most of my games...

When Microsoft fixes the RROD what they do is take the 360 apart and replace the melted parts with new parts and thats how they fix the RROD so you should get back your Halo 3 Xbox 360

it doesnt matter if its a falcon or not. i have a falcon elite and it got the red rings. the falcon systems doesnt mean you will never have it, its just that since some updated chip is in it, theres a less likely chance of it happeneing.
