When a musician dies prematurely they're often given a lot more credit than they actually deserved. While cliff was a phenomenal bass player, Gene's is entitled to his opinion. He should have used Kurt Cobain as an example. Everyone talks about how great a guitarist Kurt was, but if you listen, he was awful.
