  • fight back just once and see how polite they become remember the la riots didnt take them long to get the fuck out of dodge gang mentality morons

  • dont worrie people I have agroup of people and we go out and kick cops asses when their of duty so far we have taken out over 50 cops. They public is standing up to them join our group and teach the cops that they are on notice

  • Protests are an opportunity for police to do what they became cops to do. They have a great time and are never held accountable for anything. Their job is to make citizens afraid to walk the streets at night. Doesn't matter what city it's in, cops are like this everywhere.

  • people need to wake up,,this country needs to be taking back from dirty cowards like this that hide behind dirty politicians and their tainted badges that represent true terrorism.

  • protests are an opportunity for agressive people to go loose aswell lol

  • These kinds of things happen in major cities all over the world. It's what police do, when it comes right down to it. They're having fun, and they're utterly unaccountable.

  • They should have ganged up on that pig, ripped it's gas mask off and beat it near to death.

  • you say they are macing and beat people without reason but at the same time your saying this was a large protest. This appears to be late in the evening and the police invloved are probably on a short fuse to begin with.

But all that aside you arnt suppose to confront them, stay more then 10 yards so your not able to be maced or ware protective gear if possable

  • Abitrarily spraying people with pepper spray and beating on them is never excusable so don't make excuseses for them. The founding fathers would be disgusted

  • wowthe camera manur pretty strong To get maced and continue to talk. I would have been choking

  • Born in the USA. Like in communism, now pay for banks for bettel life :) And got some peper spray for thank you..

  • I'm sure , the cop is so abusive they took his gun away and gave him a wooden stick . not to mention cops walk a patrol with gas masks on all the time . This video is so full of shit it stinks .

  • This is at a huge protest genius.

  • Where the hell was this and something really bad must of happened like a shooting or something where and when???????//

  • I think it's creepy how many people claim that the video is fake because they know how every street in Miami looks at night through a small video camera from those particular angles. Either people are even more arrogant than I thought or Miami has tons of savants...

  • hyperspaceboy. This is not Miami, we have palm trees not creepy leafless old Icibod Crane trees. also the buildings appear to be structured w/ basements, none of those here. Also they are dressed for winter and we have like 3 days of cold per year

  • i dont give a fuck if youre a cop or in the military or what, if you cause harm to my person unjustly, you will be eating a hot dish of .45 for your last meal.

  • @gz357 You are one of few remaining true Americans..

  • pigs

  • there is police brutality everyday in florida please don't move here,if they don't arrest 23 people a month they will get fired, that is Charlie Christ the new governor new law.He needs the money florida is broke cause they gave all the money to Bush

  • "Criminal Justice" has become a lucrative industry in the U.S. We award "degrees" in "Criminal Justice" to community college kids who used to be called the "farm school" students, and encourage them to lie, deceive, do whatever they have to to make arrests, and feed the system of courts, jails, prisons--at taxpayers' great expense. Police now create crime to support this industry and insure their own job security.

  • You are so right!

  • yeah they make new laws, just to make more criminals

  • police officers get killed all the time, so its obvious he was just scared for his life. sad and cowardly but true.. most cops are cowards, but some are great men.. I know old classmates that are cops and i can tell you that i'd feel safer with a hamster to protect me than those weaklings. getting through most police academys is simple, you just need to know how to say "yes sir, no sir" and do some sit ups. any YOUNG cop you see that is fat is a waste of tax dollars!!

  • law suit?

  • I use to be a thug. Years ago I use to get arrested all the time and spent a little time in jail. I have straightened my life out. All you wanna be thugs smashing the keys about the police beating your ass and just that, wanna bes. When I was coming up, if you got a tune up from the cops, you took it like a man. That's the life style you chose and those are the rules of the game. Most these people ask for it, then they cry lawsuit. There are no true thugs anymore. Just a bunch of sissies.

  • i would of throw the camera at that gay cop

  • This is nothing new to me..... but white people beware police brutality starts with Minorities but slowly it becomes the rule not the exception just for those other people. This is clearly wrong, though, regardless of who it affects.

  • I'm a white cop, and I'm going to taser your white ass as soon as I see you... you fuck'en citizen. You do as I say I'm a cop, and I'm the law.

  • fuck you if you are a white cop. cops are there to protect and serve not do what they fucking feel like. all you cops who treat people like shit will end up getting yours at the end.

  • You idiot... he's obviously not a cop and was just being sarcastic. You bought right into it...

  • "go spray your children" , LOL

  • dum cops....quite the power trippers

  • What's the whole story? These cops probably ARE worthless rogues. However, do we know if the camera guy has been warned to stay back? Do we know if the whole area is OBVIOUSLY in trouble that night, and people know they are taking a risk?

Doesn't make the cops right, but if they've already been threatened and attacked, and warned everyone to stay away or GO HOME, then it is -somewhat- more understandable. It may not be as black-and-white as the activists would like.

  • I often see them in uniform with squad car food shopping , going to dry cleaners, etc . Must be nice to have tax payers pay for their car, gas, time while they do private errands. Thats a form of theft from the city and should be looked into . Next time will video it with my cell phone hope Miami herald does story on it

  • They get lunch breaks like everyone else. Sometimes they choose to run errands during them. As long as it's within that time frame I have no problem with that.

  • Let me tell you the other day as I was walking around Little Haiti before I left for Haiti I saw several Miami police officers taking turns football tackling a suspect while in handcuffs. The police out here are nuts, they have also round up crews which come out every six months and take anyone to jail whom does not have a valid reason to be out and about during the wee hours, their justification, curbing drug and gang violence in the city.

  • If this kind of tyranny continues, the police may well find the citizenry taking up sniper positions on rooftops and taking rogues like this out. I fear that's the sad eventual result of a society when all the good cops have gone, and what we have now is an army of steroidal thugs with badges.

  • "steroidal thugs with badges".

lol so true a few go to same gym I go to . Miasmi is sadly one of few cities that does not test these freaks for steroids, etc. Include the women cops in those tests to

  • Miami police as a whole are worthless out of control militia however this is NOT Miami . I live in Miami and this area-trees-houses,buildings are not Miami . I am not sure this video isnt a complete farce

  • Okay, so I've been an activist for about 10 years, making videos for about six years of protests from all over the world. I have never lied or been incorrect about a video location. This is Miami, like it or not. Is everyone taking crazy pills?

  • LOl ok it just didnt look like Miami but I havent been in every single place of Miami. I do agree the police here are terrible and abusive. I used to live in NY upstate . When the police there pulled someone over for speeding they would pull them over off the road or into a shopping center, etc in other words not right in busy street in a lane and sit there. They cause traffic jams and dangers

  • are you sure they are police?

  • wish I knew the whole story.

  • I may not be American, but if I saw those two coming down the street towards me, I would be an idiot just to stand there. It's a RIOT, don't stick around.

  • There was no riot going on and protests had broken up hours before. All day long police beat peaceful protestors, but even that was long over with, or so people thought. If people here are interested, I have other footage I can post.

  • Yes I'd be interested. Would be interesting to know whether they were provoked by some less peaceful protesters.

Was that you holding the camera btw?

  • Damn, that's just wrong.

  • Further Proof that we need to fire all cops across the United States who are not Psychic.

  • THAT IS NOT MIAMI 100% SURE

  • I don't know if you all have been huffing paint or what, but this is Miami Fl, as is the other video I've posted on here, as is the dozens of hours of footage I have from the FTAA protests that happened there. 100% sure, more like 100% wrong!

  • Avtivistvideos...is this Miami, Florida or a Miami in another state?

  • To activistvideos..Yes I know every street. There were 1 place on Flagler Street that was under sea level, Walgeens on Flagler st., across from the Olympia Theatre.(I don't know what Walgreens is called now, since the areas in Miami is largely Hispanic, but not all Hispanic. There is another below sea level building, which was just off Flagler Street which was a Chineese Restaurant. Yes I know Miami very well, since I was born and raised there.

  • Well, if you know Miami then you know this was filmed in Miami during the protests against the FTAA.

  • This is not Miami. I was raised there. If you notice the windows where that man says he can't see...these windows with people living in them would be below sea level. Miami is mainly Hispanic, they are speaking english...if this was Miami, mostly Cubans and people from South America, why not Spanish speaking people..No this is not Miami. Now I know you can't trust you tube in telling the truth.

  • You grew up there, so you know every single street and neighborhood in the ENTIRE CITY?!?!? Why would I lie about where this took place? I have dozens of hours of video from the protests that took place there. This is Miami!

  • This is not miami. NOte to self if you see a cop with a gas mask and big stick....go other direction

  • I know it may look like Myanmar but it's Miami. Note to self - don't count on morons to oppose the police state :p

  • It is unreal that they get away with this.

  • a police state yeah right.

  • We have a constitutional right to protest. So when guys walk around with masks and mace without warning, you're living in a police state. Also, as time goes on they'll make every attempt to remove personal firearms (also protected by constitution).

  • Looks Just Like A Police State! Terrible.
