@jslack It depends greatly on the boost level/your driving habits, but just as much on luck.
Its an assembly line part, I drove my truck like I stole it for 2 years on 7lbs boost and switched to a built tranny only when I built the motor. My stock transmission had no burnt clutches, was in shockingly good condition. On the other hand I know people that have blown transmission on moderately tuned moderately driven trucks.
Not bad, man. So, did you upgrade a regular 1500 or did you just remove the hemi badge? Also, what turbo did you use. I've been considering a paxton supercharger for my hemi.
It's a 2003 1500 that has been debadged. The 5.7 hemi has been stroked out to a 6.1, along with that, most everything else being upgraded. The turbo is an upgraded Squires Turbo Systems kit. The build was done at SharaDon Performance who hold the record for the fastest modern hemi ram @ 11.29 (while maintaining the over 5000lbs RC/SB weight). They are using a paxton SC on a 6.1 block stroked out to a 6.4L. I have a few vids of their truck as well.
now that sounds like an old school HEMI - nice!!
