All white kimono are worn by the deceased at funerals, those who morn wear all black, yes. Wedding Kimono are also commonly white, but you will often see silver woven into the design or used in accessories, with newer pieces I've even seen iridescent threads used in the design. Wedding ones are covered in happy/seasonal and celebratory motifs, you really can't mistake them for any thing but a "happy" kimono. @stormsight (pale pink/yellow/blue comes to mind) the lights/ camera has washed them out, making them appear white and quite plain. I can tell they has some sort of woven design to them, but nothing obvious. I know they probably picked out these so that the masubi would be the focus, but the kimono just don't jive well with me. But I'm no expert, and all of this was certainly put together by one, so who am I to say anything negative? The masubi are beautiful, and very well done.
I have a feeling brittany browning is going to be famous one day.
