@iljang123 1st - Thanks for watching and the compliment! 2nd - I'm sorry I call it "Soccer" not "Football". I don't mean to annoy you but in America, where I am from and live, we call it "Soccer". If I were to call it "Football" the American viewers would be very confused as to why I am not teaching them "American Football". So please bare with me & chalk it up to cultural differences. I assure you when I am in Europe I will call it "Football" not "Soccer". Thanks watching!
@OnlineSoccerAcademy thats fine :) i wasnt getting angry i just find it a bit funny how people call it different things :L and awesome toutorial, i twisted my kneecap trying this earlier, as soon as im off of crutches ill try it again lol :P
What so what part of the foot do you kick it with? The inside (used when bending the ball) or the outside of the foot? (outside curl Ricardo Quaresma shot)
What about the knee bend on the plant foot, cuz what I heard is that the more you bend your plant foot knee the higher power it'll get but try not to over bend
lol how can you do it soo easily when i first tried it I curled my foot under my standing foot and when the foot came round I stamped on my kicking foot :) it was painful!!
La Rabona is definitely a cool trick. Named after the Argentinian dance move and made famous by Diego Maradona. It is a option to used your favored foot in unfavorable situations. I do believe for most players it would be better to just learn how to strike the ball with both right and left feet.
@FootballFan091 slow the move down and practice the technique with out the ball first. Get your foot use to being in that position. It takes practice, be patient.
lol after watching you and your skills im and the Top Soccer in my team 10 games 12goals thanks!!!! btw (me and my team-mates are at final championship in our school i suggested all my friends to watch you^^ )
@PPetrit Awesome! Great news! Congrats on all the success you are having! Glad I can help but credit to you for making it happen! Thanks for telling your friends about the Online Soccer Academy!
@TheMeganarutofan My advice would be to watch the video again and again. Study how I do it and the key points. then go out and practice. Think about what you are doing, then watch the what could go wrong section and see how you can improve. You will get it!
Thank you so much! The first few times I tried this trick I kept losing my balance. The key points helped a lot! I need to practice this trick more to make it more stronger. Thanks so much Jared!
@coheed544 Hope your Sunday game went well! Please message me a link to the "Henry Flick" so I know exactly what you are talking about. I will check it out and maybe add it on my video to do list. Thanks!
@andreynho90 thanks, glad you like the tutorial! When you say "in reality it's very easy to do the trick" remember your "reality" is not the same as someone else's "reality". So it maybe easy to you, but it's not easy to everyone. Same way in Mess's "reality" it's easy for him to dribble 3 guys and score in a Champion's League game but in your "reality" that may not be as easy.
I have been playing soccer for a long time but i had fractured my patella in a match 1 year ago so can you please help me by posting a video about exercises that will help me get back to soccer again because physiotherapy isn't really helping my knee, i am still not able to put a lot of pressure on my knee.
@eatingmachine007 Sorry about your injury. That stinks. Hope you start healing up soon. Have you seen a Dr. and a physical therapist/physio/trainer? They can help you better then I can. I don't have videos for sports injuries and therapy sorry. Try youtube searching for knee rehab exercises but I really advise you see a professional in person that can help you. Good luck!
but i can give maximum 2hrs a day to my training... i have no coach , i learn soccer through your videos ...
can you give me a time table which i can follow to chase my dream...
becoz i have heard about some cases in which people have injured their legs or knees for life , only becoz they were following wrong training.. i dont want to be one of them... so please help me..... waiting for your feedback
@gurparv1993 Glad my videos are helping. Injuries are always an issue in soccer. Hopefully they don't happen to you. There is not time table to go pro. Some it happens early, some later, some never. It's really up to you to decide when it's going to happen through hard work and self belief. Subscribe & sign up for Online Soccer Academy (dot) com. New videos come out Mondays and Wednesday. They will help some.
@gurparv1993 Dont worry so much about injuries, but if you want to minimize the risk of getting injured there are a simple rule to follow:
take good time warming up before each session. you can also try building strength to your feet. that will help alot against knee-injuries and also, you will have benefits in the game if you have strong feet.(balance, shooting power etc.)
This has really helped. I still cant get the ball in the air that high though because I cant get enough speed behind the rabona, any tips on increasing speed for it.
@MrAdidas2012 glad it helped! For height make sure you are kicking under the ball, that will help more. The speed will come as you practice it more. For now focus on kicking underneath the ball. Once you are confident then pick up the speed when you technique is solid. Let me know how it goes?? Believe in it®!

@riwazable it's b/c of the way foot is curved when I hit it. Pause the video and study how my foot hits the ball in a curve like position. That should help.
@deathzelaro thanks for the great comment Aniket! I appreciate it! Glad you like my videos and find them helpful! I look forward to hearing more feedback in the future. I will keep it up, you keep training hard and enjoying the videos!
I have all the steps but I can't twist my foot enough I've watched other vids and a kid said you can hit the ball straight on with your toe it is easier but it doesn't give me as much air if I used the side of my foot should I stretch th foot so I can turn it all the way
@CPsoccermaster12 I don't think hitting the ball with your toe is a good idea b/c you lose accuracy when you do that. Try to do the move with out the ball first. Maybe even adjust your foot with your hands in a stand still position exactly how I am showing you to do it in the video. Then do the move without the ball a few times, then try with the ball. That my help. Practice will cure your problem, sounds like you're close!

@OnlineSoccerAcademy I Wanted To Aked A Question actaully If Its Okay .. everytime I Kick The Ball, My Swinging Leg's Knee Hits My Planted Leg And Feels Very Uncomfortable ... Is There Anything I Could Change?
@TheAbilityToVisual you can always ask me questions. Tough question for me to answer. Why don't you try slowing down your kick a little, don't worry about power, just worry about hitting the ball right without hitting your knee. Then as you feel comfortable pick up the speed on your swing. Whatever you do... don't hurt yourself!!
@TheAbilityToVisual yeah I agree with @riwazable that the ball is to near your plant foot. Slow the move down too and get technique right before you try this at speed.
Ok I am a righty, so I would plant my left foot a few inches away from the ball, but Im still a little confused where and how my right foot swings and hits the ball. I know I hit like the loowww part of the ball, but like how does my right foot swing and where should it hit exactly?? Thanks :)
@messi12317 I am a righty too. Best advice I can give you is just watch the video a few times and then try to do the move in slow motion exactly how I do in the video. The video answers all your questions better then I can in this comment reply. Let me know how it goes and if you have any more questions that maybe the video can't explain. Good luck!! Believe in it®!!
thats quaresma move but if u ask me i think cristiano ronaldo patterns himself after quaresma or some other veteran players on portugals national team like figo and thanx for the vid
@rbyur tips for left back... working on defending is important but attacking wise I would work on your crossing and getting forward. Also make sure your passing is accurate out of the back.
