I was thinking of getting my 101 cleaned and refurbished. After recently discovering BOC and seeing this video I reckon the crackles, hiss and static might actually add something. Hey, I got VST plug-ins if I want lush and clean.
I like yours more. Is there anyway you could tell me what your setting your switches at on your sh-101. I just made a trade for one and I might have to take it in. What is most important in order to get that texture that you have at 00:18
@Jazzman303 actually 18sec is just the same patch as the base line just pitched all the way up form 16 to 2 [VCO Range module].
but im sorry man. that was so long ago...i cant remember what the patch settings are. id have to muck with it to get it back. i MAY have taken a picture of it...ill look.
the joys of analogue [im not being sarcastic :) ]. i was just goofing around, so i wasnt to set on documenting the patch. but as a note....take photos of patches you make that you like ;)
