  • witchcraft! D:

  • why do people got to find the logic in it its just for entertainment

  • Simple mathematics. The reason he alternates between shuffling and cutting (and does an extra cut/shuffle at the end) is to distract from the fact that he is doing it 7 times. 13 of each suit x 4 suits = 52 cards total; 52 cards spread alternating every 13th card; 52 divided by 13 = 4; the number of cards in each stack. In essence: 7 x 4 x 13 / 52 = 7 (The number of times he shuffles.) An idiot could do this :) (No offense)

  • @aaronrettig I dunno if an idiot could do that, but that's not what I did.

  • @aaronrettig You're an idiot.

  • @aaronrettig For any number Y, it is true that Y x 4 x 13 / 52 = Y, because 4 x 13 / 52 =1. This means that Y x 4 x 13 / 52 = Y can be reduced to Y x 1 = Y. As such, you haven't shown any mathematical necessity for MystryBox to have shuffled/cut 7 times.

  • if you pay attention after everytime he suffles the cards look at the bottom of the deck after he shuffles each time its the same exact card from the fust time

  • this video should have atlease million views.

  • wat a blatantly obvious false shuffle

  • u fake shuffled it, verry easy one u know how to fake shuffle cards

but u made the illusion look rlly good and i liked it :) most people would beleive it

  • @MystryBox A magician never reveals his/her secrets. How do I know you are not just saying that to mislead me by making me think I'm right if I may in fact be wrong. Clever...

  • @CompleteRationality I'm going to delete your comments later today so other people get a chance to try to figure it out.

  • is that right?

  • @ComfyFutons yes, that's correct.

  • hahahah, its not fake. Look when he shuffles, you can see the 4 of clubs everytime he cuts. Its all sleight of hand and he is brilliant at it. Great Video!

  • Wow people bashing this guy and calling this video fake and dumb are idiots. Watch closely, when he shuffles the cards, instead of pushing the two halves together, mixing the cards up, he lifts the deck in his right hand and places it back on top, thus keeping both halves in their original order. So no matter how many times he shuffles and cuts the deck, the cards are never changing from their original order out of the deck. You can see when he shuffles, the 4 of clubs never changes position

  • think i got it... Its a mathimatical trick with quick hands. A deck that is in order will stay in order as long as you only cut it once and then put the 2 piles together. The difference with your trick is that when you flick them on the table you did it very close to the edge of the card which lets you seperate them in your hands when you put the cards back together. The triple cut you are doing is slight of hand looking at cards to bring the aces to that top. Great trick man.

  • How is this a trick? Its common sense, they go in order no shit retard

    This isnt that amazing

  • @85455justin let's see you do it.

  • @85455justin then dont watch it dipfucking asswipe anal grapping cum guzzling retard stop trolling i like his vids and i watch every vid he comes out with so stfu dont watch this vid if your jsut gonna hate.

  • After watching your one handed shuffle video I understand why your hands have funny movements while you are shuffling in this video, especially in your right hand.

  • Could you have done this trick in front of somebody who is watching or does it rely on the magic of Hollywood?

  • @christo930 this can be performed live in front of people the same way as shown in the video.

  • its not a trick, they were all in order... therefore he put them into 13 piles... 13 cards, so there is your answer... Ive been thought that before... he shuffled them... then paused... then got another pack layed them out. so there if you dont belive me YOUR WIERD!

  • @SuperNumber1mileyfan I didn't switch any decks. The deck you see is the only deck used in the video.

  • very nice video but how?

  • COOL!!!!!!!!!

  • my gf had a mystrybox and it was from mystrybox! what the hell

  • my gf had a mystery box

  • @Ruther4d878 had?

  • @MystryBox yea, i figured it out after a while.

  • Comment removed

  • WITCHCRAFT!!!

  • Oh,I just figured it out.All deks rae organized in 4 decks. He shuffles and cuts 3 times to make all the cards come on one organized pile.Look at the shuffles carefully,he doesn't actualy shuffle.

  • The cuts are the key because they won't change the order of the card values.

The riffle shuffles are never completed.

  • i tried this over and over, doesn't work at all, not even close.

  • OMG HOW

  • Super-awesome.

  • Mystrybox why do u shuffle at the corner of the cards

  • @JAYWRECK777 'cause I can't figure out how to shuffle at the middle of the cards.

  • i was Flabbergassted ! :)

  • how

  • what the Fvck!

  • I GOT IT!!! HINT: watch the shuffle extremely closely! By the way, your magic tricks are awesome! Love your vids!

  • awsome :D

  • lol tags "sexy"

  • How did you do this?

  • didn't he shuffle them...?

  • @GroveStr33tOG nvmd he stops the shuffle with his fingers never shuffling the cards then he lays out 13 different rows 4 times 13 rows for the each card number 4 times for each suit resultin' in all cards being the same number

  • hey MystryBox I think you are awesome!

  • @PikaMan132 thanks! :)

  • buy new deck take out jokers and aces lay em like he did

  • very nice, gj

  • oh no wait figured it out!

  • this isnt really a trick its basically just math. you can cut the deck thirteen times any where in the deck and have the exact same result

  • first of all, cards aren't that easy to open. second, a bicycle deck comes in an order with the ace of spades on the bottom after the joker. the diamonds should come after the spades.

that false shuffle was not so great because squaring the deck in your hands like that is very unnatural.

But overall if you are doing this to non magicians, it would work pretty well

  • If you can't open a deck of cards that easily with a sharp knife you have issues, heh.

  • @MystryBox what about the other things I said!

  • What about them? Do you think it's difficult to explain how a trick is done when the video itself is a reply to a video explaining how the trick is done??

  • @MystryBox I swear that was so obvious. anyone who sees a new deck everyday can obviously see.

  • Sure, magicians and blackjack dealers might not be the best audience for the trick. There's a huge problem huh?

But even in the case you might actually show such a trick to someone who knows a new deck stack they most likely wouldn't notice if you presented it well.

So really it's only an issue to geeks on youtube who rewind effects and dissect them frame by frame. Heh.

  • And by the way the problem isn't the ordering of the suits and jokers as you can easily preserve the order of those as you wish. The reason a new deck stack needs to be modified at all is the order of the suits counts up in rank for some suits and down for others, and that has to be corrected so all count the same way.

  • And to really geek out in examining this...

The false shuffle looks natural or not depending on how you generally shuffle during all your effects. Considering I can do all my shuffles to look the same regardless if they are real or false even magicians can't tell when I do a false one.

  • @MystryBox I could tell right away. Anyone could!

  • Sure you did. And everyone is just like you and knows the proper order of suits in a new deck, right? If you're that concerned then order the suits properly and put the jokers where they go. I didn't bother because in reality nobody notices such things. But if it bothers you set it up right, nothing is stopping you.

  • I made a 6 year old watch this and he could tell!

  • Double counting yourself is hardly fair.

  • will you just shut up and admit ht trick was obvious!

  • @pogobat88 I don't agree that it is. You're entitled to your opinion, but it's wrong.

  • @MystryBox i agree! i am baffled! can you do a tut

  • Look at the video I'm replying to, it shows how to do it. All I did is add some extra details to make the trick look more convincing, but it's the same trick as the video I'm replying too.

  • Oh and ocording to ur religeon jesus didnt create heven and earth his "dad" god did

  • thats because of the trininty... Jesus, the Father, and the holy spirit all make God together...

  • Many and most arent the same thing u stupid smiley

Out of 1000 people, 400 is many of them where as most of them is 600

Jesus is dead get over it

(that is if he ever truly did exist)

  • many and most are the same. and praise jesus the creator of the heavens and the earth.

  • it has somethin to do with math

  • cool trick mate ;)

  • just wondering? if the deck was "BRAND NEW" why when you cut the pastic cover! you again cut in the same spot were the sticker helps close the box... you clearly already cut it??? idk just wondering

  • The first cut only cut the plastic.

  • haha, what a dumb question.

  • The study of magic is really the study illusion, psychology and trickery. Real magic doesn't seem to exist and magicians know that better than anyone. Many magicians are atheists. In my case I think my interest in magic was a key reason I ended up being an atheist. See my video "The Two Dollar Ticket to Hell" for more on that.

  • Actually, most magicians AREN'T atheist. Being a magician as you stated above is all the master of illusion. This meaning that it is all movement of hands and placing things in certain spots so the audience doesn't see it. I also know about 10 or 20 magicians (My friends, all make a living from it) that are all different religions other than atheist.

  • I said many not most. Sort of makes your post pointless once you realize that.

  • hahaha nice! :D

  • no coments

    u r cool

  • :-)

  • Shuffle with a bridge done at an angle (thumb touches the opposite pinky) naturally sets you up for a cut... Easier and looks more legit in my opinion

  • Your shuffle was VERY skilfully done. :)

  • Thanks. Though it's passable but far from skillful these days.

  • hahhaa you tryin to blow him or somethin

  • i dont get how 2 do tat

  • it does it all by itself, the dealer in fact never really knows where the cards are, it's all about following steps, I know a different way to do it.

  • he he just has 2 memorise a story and follow the steps?

  • well look, go to RIPfilms channel and he has a 13 card trick and he does it very simply, no stories or tricks, the way you see it done is the way it works. It's one of the easiest tricks in the world, and seriously i dont think anybody realy knows why it works EVERY SINGLE TIME

  • u do it 2?

  • it's not that hard... jeez lol

  • sorry im so used 2 things being rilly hard, lol

  • i know why it works every single time the cards really dont change in order the deck is cut nd really never shuffled

  • very easy but well preformed and good to watch. also for non magicians ..... vey interesting. also, i noticed you had analised darren browns videos. i had the pleasure of meeting him .... and having a workshop with him. if you want to talk message me!

  • I don't know if he does but I do! What's the guy like? As mindblowing in person as he is in video? :)

  • Yes very interesting guy with great ideas about magic. He goes from being very friendly and lovely . . to his "mentalism mode" where he is very initmmidating and scary!

    BUT YEAH HE IS IMMENSE!

  • Just a little too obvious but a great effect.

  • nice

  • very nice cuts and shuffles! i had guessed what you were doing, but i still couldn't see the hand slights!

  • how on erth did u do that could u give me a demo tortoreal please

  • Cool. I got it. Thank you very much!

  • Fabulous !

  • Well done, my friend.

I have never seen that form of shuffling done, so it took me 2 seconds longer than it normally would. But ultimately my magicians eye was good enough to pick up the movements.

    But well done dear friend.

Ill have to try this method.

    I like the outcome.

  • Well if I can fool a magician for an extra 2 seconds I did my job :)

  • I know what you did, It's clever slight of hand, I can't see it, but I know how it's done.

  • dude that waz awsome! how did u do that?

  • I do this with only jacks to aces (to shorten it up). Actually you don't even need to "shuffle" the cards to make it work... but then again if you don't shuffle it'd get way too easy to figure out.

The ironic part is that even if you know how to do the trick, you might not actually know how it works. Kind of a self-working card trick.

  • omg like no way. so kool

  • That was cool.

  • Nice effect, I was suspicious of the shuffle but to be honest, I'm suspicious of all shuffles in card tricks!

  • awesome trick!!

  • Great job! you have me fooled. I have no Idea how you did that. congrats.

  • i think i saw the trick. do you mind if i take a guess?

  • Go ahead. It should be pretty easy to figure out the trick considering I'm linking to a video with an explanation of most of it.

  • Nice zarrow. I like the "and now we're ready to start the trick" when you've already finished it!!

  • the patter is very good... very unsuspicious

    congratulations

  • Thanks! When I first saw Jay's original effect, this sort of presentation with a new deck jumped out at me. I think the effect becomes really strong when it's presented this way. It's almost a shame to link back to the original effect because I suspect this would be nearly impossible to figure out without it.

  • awsome job man, i love how you modified it! although what/where is the sleigh of hand? i saw you shuffle! lol but im thinking it works with the cam concept because when you shuffle it just switches the placement of two or three of the same numbered card. if that makes sense lol it does to me!

  • Nice trick.

  • Not even a clue as to how that was done. Excellent!

  • Is this slight of hand or mathmatical?

  • Both. The original effect (in the video I responded to) is mathematical, and my modified version adds a bit of sleight.

  • I think I've figured out the slight of hand, even though I couldn't do it myself. But did you know that the aces would be the first stack of cards?

  • I meant "sleight" not "slight"

  • Yes I made sure the aces would be first. You can know the order by the card on the bottom of the deck.

  • YAY! MystryBox video =)

    Good trick.

  • That's why I don't buy Bicycle brand playing cards. No matter how much you shuffle, they tend to clump together like that. When you want your playing cards to shuffle right, shuffle with Aviator. America's Best Entertainment Value!

  • quite stylish

  • amazing, i'm impressed

  • cool
