What you could do, of course, is to immediately take the furthest base you reasonably can and turn that into a planetary fortress. Drop any mules you have out at your forward base and by the time he takes it down it'll barely be worth taking.

Psy in worker battles, it is not the first one to attack that wins. All units in SC2 have a Random Delay Minimun and a Random Delay Maximum on their attacks which means that between attacks, a number is selected that is greater than the Random Delay Minimun and less than the Random Delay Maximum. The chosen number will delay their next attack by that many tenths of a second. For workers the Random Delay Minimum is -0.625 and the Random Delay Maximum is 1.250. Hope this helped! :D

When i was making new units and tweaking their stats in the data editor i saw the random delay minimun and random delay maximum as some of the stats. I changed the maximum it to like 5 and tested it and i saw that it affected the attack speed of the unit. :)
