mexico is a well recognized country, with many pros and also cons, but guess what, we are actually known in the world, we have beautiful places and in my opinion i think belize is beutiful but it would better off as another country's terrirory
belize is crazy its a place where u see a person u know is latino but sounds jamaican. the other is nicaragua where alot of the english speakers look mixed with black and indian about the same as most of belize population. in belize the kriol is stronger but on the atlantic coast almost all speak english but th pacific coast spanish speaking migrant while in belize the spanish migrant speaks some krio and their kids are kriol dominant except at border where they are bilingual.
Belize is the only country in Central America that does not have spanish as its main language, its a very nice place when you are in the country, not in the city, and if you think that 300,000 in the us is bad 200,000 mexicans cross illegally every year and thats just an estimate, and the government is nowhere as near corrupt compared to other countrys.

Theres still Mayans in Belize but they are usually Mexicans from Yucatan and from Guatemala. Belize mestizos population is normally thanks to the Mexicans from Yucatan who moved there centuries ago. You can check out the food also, its very similar to Mexico's food

I love this and I am 100% and Proud Belizean American. All of my friends that I went to school and in the military are aware I am belizean and proud and they all want to visit. I have a few that fell in Love with it as much as I do.
Ok.... I am Mexican and I lived in Belize for over 18 years...It is true I left Belize to go to college and get my masters in finance. I can tell you that I am a Belizean at heart and love that I was given the opportunity to grow up there. I went to Belize in 1977 and have never forgotten it, I travelled through the jungle along the border of Guatemala for 6 months while in the British army.
I fell in love with Belize and the people when I spent time in Belize City last week. Am saddened to see the comments on here, because the Belize that I experienced was the most beautiful country I've ever seen.

Belize is the only country in Central America that does not have spanish as its main language, its a very nice place when you are in the country, not in the city, and if you think that 300,000 in the us is bad 200,000 mexicans cross illegally every year and thats just an estimate, and the government is nowhere as near corrupt compared to other countrys.
