you said it was like a pink floyd record... pink floyd is great. and you obviously hate this comic book, which is like an oxymoron.

From your incredibly biased review, you spent the whole thing whining, this wasn't really a review was it? infact a lot of your tiresome negative points attracted me:

in jokes, 80's references, stream of consciousness, plus the artwork.

i havent read it, but your review was awful. (regardless of the quality of the comic). Try not to turn it into a pop-contest.

@Leemanlyness Pink Floyd is awesome. The book sucked. Waah waah waah. If you wanna buy the book, I'm sure you'll find it at Hot Topic next to the Hello Kitty t-shirts. Ask the girl with the nose piercings where they keep it. She'll probably give you a copy if you offer to take her to a Justin Bieber concert.

@Leemanlyness Sure you can argue with our judgment. I'll admit that we didn't 'get' the book. Some kids liked it. Maybe it's that we're just not 'hip' enough to understand. Its claudio from coheed and cambria, yes they are my favorite band but thanks for telling me to avoid this book. Too bad tho cause hes a great writer of songs but i guess is never translates into comics huh.

Maybe it just depends on your taste? If you are a fan of the songs they write, maybe the book will make more sense to you? I dunno. All Jose and I were saying was that we didn't 'get it.' The book was obviously not written for two old fanboys like us.

J, you got me hooked on Booster Gold/Blue Beetle. I love the format; well worth the extra buck. I enjoy the humor of Blue Beetle. I think Booster one of the more original characters, or maybe different is the word. Thanks for the heads up on this book. Same for The Brave and the Bold: Dial H for Hero/Batman. A good story well executed. It's refreshing to read a complete tale in one issue (not to mention it's easy on the wallet)!

Yo the dude who wrote this is the lead singer/guitarist of coheed and cambria a prog rock group that realest concept albums about his comic books. The music was GREAT! The comic books sucked. If you want a long babbuling incoherent fuckfestival of poorly conveyed concepts pushed by an over indulgent dickfuck of a comic book writer read his other series Coheed and Cambria. Great music thou, really great.

I still don't get the pretentious thing with Phonogram, I thought it was a joy to read.

Haven't read Kill Audio, even the scanners don't seem to have bothered with it.

and yes, G-Man is brilliant, i think I was probably the first to mention it here. Sky Pirates of Neo Terra from image is another all-ages book I could very much recommend.

Cluadio Sanchez is the lead singer of Coheed and Cambria which is a concept band. and tey put out a comic to tell the story of there band called The Amory Wars. and claudio wrote it. AND HE'S A TERRIBLE WRITER! So it doesn't suprise me that that book sucks. I had to work to finish Amory Wars.
