Clapton has added a slight dose of chorus and flange on his tone since the mid-1970s, feeling very much like a tasty glass of fizzy drink. Unfortunately he stopped using those effects after late 1989/early 1990.

Not the best playing or tone from EC on this one but good otherwise. The version from hyde park kills it.

@intheblues I like this version because of the chorus/flange effects he used during that time. In the Hyde Park version Eric doesn't use these FX.
Check out the Budokan shows of 1997 and enjoy Clapton playing a funky version of this song through a Dunlop CryBaby wah-wah pedal.
