I liked the video presentation and I would like to make a suggestion. When the missile trucks come to a stop can someone place in the video one truck running over a rudder ducky. This would give it much higher fear factor. Two item the video is missing is the Patriot Operation System which is anti-missile detector and retaliation. That is why running over the rudder ducky is so important. : )
You do not know everything - your newspapers and television asserting only that in Russia everything is bad, what we are not free here, drunk and bearded ... dance with balalaikas and the bears, shoot from the Kalashnikov ... rubbish!
We are very poor here. We are very hungry. We have no freedom of speech and can not vote freely in elections ...
I'll tell you now that - tired of this song! Is not even funny!
Protests in Russia have sprung up in reaction to the results of the Russian 2011 election. Fox news has missed the mark when covering the uproars in Moscow. The news media showed footage of riots in Greece claiming that people of Russia were upset at Vladimir Putin and his United Russia party. Is this all by design or a sincere mishap? Marina Portnaya reports.
@ed6arx It can defend, but not against the Russian ICBMs. It was not designed for that. You idiots. It wouldn't even be practical to install a system that can protect America in Europe... Learn how ballistic missiles and interceptors work. If America had wanted to place a defense system that could defend America, they would've installed it in America, not in Europe.
@StiviGun1 Club-M has been developed and tested back in 2006-2007 and is being used among other coastal defense systems by the Russian army. It is part of the long term program of modernization of the Russian army which includes 5-generation planes, new strategic missiles, satellites, new classes of submarines, new defense systems, new Main Battle Tanks, Global Positioning system GLONASS, and many many more...
@molumen Well, I do agree with this system and 5th gen fighters and main battle tanks or satellites as being part of the modernization of the army, but I don't agree with the development of new ICBMs, SLBMs and new ballistic missiles submarines. Those are weapons of mass destruction and they don't need to be built anymore. Russia already has enough nuclear weapons and delivery systems to destroy the entire world. Why do they need new ICBMs?
@StiviGun1 It is just a modernization program, not an increase in power. The overall amount of strike force will stay the same, respecting all the existing agreements with the US. This modernization program has 2 main causes, the first one being that the Soviet and early post-Soviet weapon systems are getting dated, so they are updating/upgrading them to nowadays standards.
@molumen Well, the new missiles are much more capable so they are an increase in firepower. And Russia doesn't need them. If the US can rely on the Minuteman, which was designed in the '50s, why can't Russia rely on missiles developed during the '70s? The argument about the Russian missiles getting outdated is a hogwash. The Russian ICBMs are much newer than the US ones so there's absolutely no need for Russia to develop even newer ones. That money can be put to better use instead.
@StiviGun1 True, the new missiles are more capable 'cause delivery systems that are getting better (shoot farther, fly faster...). So yes from this point of view there is an increase in firepower. Russia is simply getting rid of its silo-based missiles and putting them onto stealthier mobile platforms. If the US has the right to put missiles close to Russia's borders, why doesn't Russia have the right to upgrade its missiles to keep itself safe?
@molumen Well, actually, besides the fact that there's no need to develop those new missiles, the RS-24 is actually designed to replace the SS-18 and it will be silo-based. It won't be deployed on a mobile platform.
And the missiles the US is putting close to Russia's borders are DEFENSIVE ONES, not OFFENSIVE NUCLEAR ONES. There's a big difference. If Russia developed ABMs instead of offensive nuclear weapons, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
@molumen You do that fucker??? Such fools ебанутых NOT ON the EARTH! FUCK! Update its missiles as you wish, from the mouth of the President of the Russian Федирации I have not heard of the ban to update its fighting force. Hahaha! Modernize the military strength of the country in the interests of each country, an idiot, dumb and now move his fighting force closer to our territory, this can already be perceived as an ATTACK!
@molumen If nobody was upgraded to their weapons could fight with sticks out right now. That's stupid... my brother five years, EVEN HE would not ask such stupid questions. And you must have the IQ as in winter in siberia, -40
@StiviGun1 It's not like Russia WANTS to spend billions on weaponry or attack & destroy everyone on the planet (although the US Congress may think otherwise), they simply must, to stay in the game. China, is increasing its firepower, the US are planting their weapons in Europe (Caribbean Crisis anew?), doesn't Russia have the right to answer that?
@molumen Well, whatever China develops that is against the US, not against Russia. So Russia is safe from China. In fact, right now, the US is confronting with two major military powers that are arming themselves against the it. So if anyone had the right to react, it's the US. Yet, the US doesn't react. You don't see them building new ICBMs and SLBMs like Russia is doing.
@StiviGun1 Hey хуеплеты, you may already be decide from whom you their pro in the east обороняетесь, from China or Iran? Can Iraq? Latvia? Iraq, Iran, Latvia, if they join you still are not able to take the victory of the united states. You with, with the patience of our experience? Don't play with Russia. If Russia is serious about the war, then the war will be honey
@Lexmike1 Nobody wants a war with Russia, you idiot. It is Russia the one with the anti-American and anti-western rhetoric and propaganda. Putin is telling you stories about the bogy-man (US. NATO) only to divert your attention from the real problems Russia has. He's playing with your heads and emotion so he can control you in any way he wants. And you fall for his strategy just like some zombies which are incapable of thinking.
In America do not get to stay in the game, if they have something in their head will not change in a very short period of time. If the condition persists stable, America first out of the game. Think about it Americans, we do not want war, and you're already starting to seething raise. For what? Lived and continue. There is no fucking you in the ass is restless.
@molumen It seems to me that Bush was sitting in the office himself, studied the map of the world and came across the "Iran", he thought:"Who? Iran? it is a fact that a word? Ah... so this is the country... Perhaps it is unnecessary land attack". In Latvia the fuck you лезите themselves sorted out. Note! That Some of you interfere not only in внутреную policies of other countries, but also in personal life of the people which YOU BASTARDS killed just like that.
@molumen Remember, a Russian man his approach to each person. And despite what you do in the world, you all want to burn, honestly. Your president dumb, and the word is quite answer. When will we have war, then we won't you sorry for yourself, remembering what you did. The Angry Russian man, the scariest horror.
@StiviGun1 We will increase your power to infinity, that we were afraid to even look!!! Because in 2012 could not believe will be anyone, especially Russia should not believe the American said, because you хуеплеты, have already begun to move closer to Russia from the East, or rather already move, supposedly in the case of protection against Iran. Do you think that we're stupid? May be. But the rest of the stupid us. So get ready guys, will strike you very strongly! FORWARD RUSSIA!!!!
@Lexmike1 Listen dipshit, if the US wanted to protect itself from your ICBMs, they would've built such a system in the US, not in Europe. It's impractical to do this from Europe. So that system is not "directed" at Russia (in fact, it can't be directed at anybody, it's a defensive system). But what idiots like you really must understand is that if you commit the stupid thing to start a war, all of you will die. Those who live in Moscow and St. Petersburg will be the 1st to die, so cut
@StiviGun1 your bullshit. You will never win such a war. You will all die and Putin will live very well in his bunkers. So stop talking about war and start focusing on your real problems.
@StiviGun1 The second cause comes from the US itself, with its anti-missile shield that is built in Europe (and infringing all previous agreements), and threatening Russian borders. Russia must develop weapons that are able to withstand and pierce this shield, in order to stay safe and relevant, and keep the nuclear balance equal.
It has been like that since the end of WW2. The US got the bomb - Russia had to create one. Von Braun helped the US develop ballistic missiles - Russia had to follow.
@molumen Well, actually the anti-missile system the US wants to install in Europe doesn't have the capability to intercept the current Russian ICBMs. From 2020 there will be installed a small number of interceptors that can intercept ICBMs because that is when they estimate Iran will have ICBMs, but they will be in a small number so they won't be a threat for the Russian nuclear arsenal, so again, Russia has no need to develop new ICBMs.
@StiviGun1 Yes you straight clairvoyant. And you Americans know that about the year 2015(2012-2016) will be the destruction of humanity and the beginning of a new era). Survive only those who have at heart though a drop of goodness, of compassion, those who do not live simply so, who lives in gratitude to Jesus Christ, for the fact that he gave his life on the cross for our salvation.
@Lexmike1 Christianity is about not being violent in any way, dipshit. You're just a pathetic pseudo-christian, with a lot of frustrations gathered in you. Furthermore, it's Russia who hates, not US.
@StiviGun1 Following the great fortune-tellers confirm the end of the world. Vanga, Nostradamus(honestly forgot, but you can see by typing in a search). And the most important thing in the Bible also says about the judgment day. That forever will separate the good from the evil. Yesterday, watched an interview with one of the inhabitants of America, which is 23 minutes was in Hell. And there he in detail tells about the agony and suffering which he endured there.
@Lexmike1 There have been some many such "prophets" and prophecies about the destruction of the world. They said the end of the world would be in 2010. When they saw it didn't happen, they changed ti to 2012... Others speak about 2015... These are just people with a lot of spare time an no hobby. And those who take them serious are morons. These so called prophets are so laughable. Even though their "prophecies" fail to take place time and again, they still go on with this bullshits.
@StiviGun1 Watching this video, I really began to worry about their loved ones. Russia believes, Russia will be saved(this was also mentioned several predictors."Russia will rise again and the world will shudder" (c) Nostradamus.
@Lexmike1 Russia believes? What does Russia believe? Currently, it is run by two atheists. So what kind of shitty propaganda are you trying to spread in here, ha? Only uneducated people believe in these "predictions". Stop being laughable.
@StiviGun1 The US created high-altitude spy planes, Russia had to create a plane capable to shoot'em down. Same for nuclear submarines, same for spy satellites, etc... Thanks to that constant state of oppression from the west, Russia now has a very strong technical base and scientific know-how and is able to develop high-class modern weaponry. The post-soviet chaos is long gone, and Russia's now stable and rapidly growing, so I think that they will keep on modernizing and evolving.
@molumen Well, they will keep on modernizing and evolving, but so is the US. But my objection is against Russia's development of new ICBMs, SLBMs and ballistic missiles submarines. There's no need for that, Russia has enough of them already. Tell me this: how would Russia feel if the US would suddenly say that it needs to replace the Minuteman ICBMs with newer ones, capable of carrying 10 warheads and with the ability to evade any Russian ABM system? Tell me, how would Russia feel about that?
@StiviGun1 I'm sure that Russia expects the US to modernize its weapon systems since Minuteman III silo-based missiles are very old (70s), so it won't be a surprise.
About missile submarines, they are simply replacing the ones that are being decommissioned with new, more effective and safe ones (the Russian navy learn a lot from the Kursk story, sadly the cost of this lesson was incredibly high).
@molumen Well, the US won't replace the Minuteman missiles, that's for sure. They'll just keep upgrading them. Russia could perfectly do that too. So why are they developing these new ICBMs? Who are they planning to use them against? I simply don't see any reason for Russia to develop new ICBMs or SLBMs.
@StiviGun1 They're developing new ICBMs because they are more modern thus safer, less expensive to maintain, that also keeps the industry occupied, that gives jobs to scientists, the military are happy to receive new toys, that also make Russians proud of their country, also the US (and other countries) now notices and counts with Russia's voice and opinion on the international scene. It's not that they're gonna really use these ICBMs, they are more useful in oh-so-many other than military ways..
@molumen Like I said, if the US can rely on ICBMs designed in the '50s, Russia definitely can rely on ICBMs designed in the '70s. The money spent on these new ICBMs are just a waste. I see Russia never stopped investing all its money in weapons. Anyway, Russia doesn't really need these new ICBMs and building them is just a sign of aggression from Russia. Like I said, if they would build ABM systems, like the US, I wouldn't have any problem with that. But building NEW WMDs is a totally different
What we want and build it. Are you an American fag zasun his dick in his mouth, and sit in the ass pushed up the TV remote. You're such a fuck who ever that there is something to be addressed? I look at all the U.S. began to lose their fear ...
@Lexmike1 Yes, you dipshit, the US does begin to lose its fear of Russia. In fact, they're not afraid of Russia for a long time. Your bullshit as how you would have the balls to start a nuclear war doesn't work anymore. You're not suicidal. You would never have the balls to launch your missiles against US. What city are you living in? Moscow? St. Petersburg? You know that these will be the 1st targets of the US missiles? How would you like to see a 475 kt nuclear fireball over your
@Lexmike1 city? So why don't you Russian stop with this anti-American and war mongering attitude, ha? Start thinking for yourselves and stop believing that Putin, who's washing your brains. If a war starts, only he ans his associates will survive. They have atomic bunkers, specially built for this. But not for you. So you will die like dogs, while they will survive. So you better stop believing the propaganda your shitty leaders are selling you on the state owned Russian media. Think
@Lexmike1 for yourselves, start worrying about the Russia's many problems and stop this war mongering attitude. Focus on your real problems, not on the ones Putin is creating for you, to keep your minds busy from what the real problems Russia faces. You say the Americans are ignorant and brainwashed, but you're 1000x worse than they are. At least they go out in the streets and protest against their leaders foreign policies, you don't even do that.
@molumen You know, it's funny how for you, Russia building new weapons (that doesn't actually need) just for creating jobs and get the industry going is fine, but when the US does this, people like you, immediately start accusing the US. This is double standards and hypocrisy. Russia simply doesn't need new weapons of mass destruction and the development of the RS-24, Bulava and the Borei submarines has no excuse. This is a clear sign of aggression from Russia.
@StiviGun1 And the US sending it's navy to various countries world wide and sticking their noses into other nation's business is not aggression to you at all?
@Unit987654321 That's aggression. But Russia is the last country that has the right to point the finger. Just like many other hypocrites from Europe who also committed a lot of rimes in their history.
@StiviGun1 Well why the fuck not? US is sending troops all over the world, and Russia isn't even allowed to develop weapons, in your opinion? Sound like some biased bs to me.
@Unit987654321 I was talking about pointing the finger. Russia doesn't have the right to accuse US of anything since they have a much longer history of aggression and crimes against other nations. As for developing weapons, Russia develops weapons specifically against the US and this shows exactly who is the one that never got over the Cold War.
@StiviGun1 As if the US don't do the same... They test their new weapons on captured Soviet era equipment that they get from the Iraqis such as export variants of T72's and shit. These 2 countries will continue to develop arms to counter each other for as long as they live, you can sum it up as the quote "Wars begin when you will, but they do not end when you please". The only real crimes I can see in Russian history was against the Baltic states, Poland and Afghanistan. Other wars Russia defend
@Unit987654321 Actually, the US stopped developing weapon against Russia long ago, right after the Cold War ended. Numerous weapons programs were also canceled or stopped. For instance, the Abrams tank production was stopped. Russia, on the other hand, never stopped developing weapons precisely against the US.
As for the Russians' history, they committed A LOT of crimes in their history, starting from the Russian Empire era. In specially against the smaller countries around them which they
@StiviGun1 Again, I repeat that the US are still testing their latest weapons on captured export variants of T72 they got from Iraq. And throughout history it was mainly Russia defending itself, the Mongols, the Tatars, the Polish, the Teutonic knights, the Turks, they all tried to invade. After centuries of defense, Russia has the right to act the way it does now, I mean they could have easily wiped out the population of East Germany if they wanted to, but no, they didn't.
@Unit987654321 And what are those "latest" weapons that the Americans are testing? If they do conduct tests, then they're testing their older systems, they don't have any "latest" weapons.
As for Russia destroying East Germany, that would've been the dumbest thing they could've done. Why would they have done that? The idea was to gain control over the Eastern Europe (and possibly even whole Europe), not to destroy it... That's why they didn't destroy East Germany, not because they're so fucking
@StiviGun1 Considering what the Germans did to the Soviets in WW2, the USSR could have easily just exterminated all ethnic Germans in East Germany, I say they were quite generous. Both the US and Russia constantly develop onto their latest designs, so for example tanks, the US build on their Abrams while Russia upgrades T72 and renames it to T90. You can say the Cold War is over, and for the most part it is, but the arms race still lives on.
Exterminating all ethnic Germans from East Germany would've been a very stupid thing to do. That would've been genocide and that would've turned against USSR...
As for the arms race, the arms race goes on for Russia much more than for the US. Like I said, the US has even stopped the Abrams production after the Cold War ended (a big mistake) while the Russians are still developing Cold War weapons, like Khrizantema. The Americans have also canceled a lot of programs (good ones) simply because
@StiviGun1 As if the actions the Germans were committing in occupied territories of the USSR was not genocide, no one cared about that. I love how that happens, when millions of Russians die, the West presents it as almost nothing, when a few hundred thousand German women are raped and a few killed, the West creates a documentary talking about how evil the USSR is and the so called crimes they committed. Most people in the US don't even know how many Russians died...
@Unit987654321 What I said was that exterminating the East German population would have turned against the USSR and that's why they didn't do it, not because the Russians are so fucking good people. And I never downplayed the genocide the Germans committed in USSR.
@StiviGun1 The 20th century was brutal for Russia, after all of what happened, Russia has the right to develop arms, I can't think of a single country that has lost more people in the 20th century than Russia, to be honest. The US already has a shit ton of military equipment and after the wars in the Middle East, it's economy is plummeting, they are in huge debt and developing more and new arms is just a waste of money for the US.
@Unit987654321 Well, if Russia lost more people than any other country was because of their own leaders who were exterminating their own people, in specially Stalin. And this certainly doesn't give them the right to develop weapons against other countries.
As for the US "new weapons", maybe you can give me some examples of those. I already gave you some examples of very good weapons systems that were canceled based on the idea that the Cold War is over. You'll never see weapons programs
canceled in Russia based on this idea. And the US doesn't have more military equipment than Russia. Russia has more tanks, more artillery pieces, more rocket launchers. You're right about the US wars in the Middle East though who are crippling the US military. The money spent on those wars should be spent on developing new weapons systems, like Russia does. The US has fallen behind, in specially in land warfare equipment, like tanks, artillery and missiles.
@StiviGun1 The US has 9000 Abrams tanks, Russia has a little more than 2500 tanks in total of the T72, T80 and T90 variants. The US has 2 of the largest air forces in the world. They have a larger navy. Russia does have more artillery. And I am saying that the US didn't cancel their weapon development as a result of the end of the Cold War, but rather because they are running out of funds to support that development. As for Germany, how would that be bad for Russia?
@Unit987654321 The US has about 6000 Abrams tanks, 9000 were produced in total. Russia has about 22000 tanks, 7000 of them in active service. They also have much more artillery pieces and rocket launchers.
And the US didn't cancel their weapons because they don't have funds, in specially during the '90s when their economy was the strongest. They still have the biggest GDP at 14 trillion dollars. They have a lot of money. Russia was the one that ran out of money after the Co,d War, not the US.
@Unit987654321 As for Germany, that would've been bad for Russia, because that genocide would've haunted them A LONG TIME after that. They certainly wouldn't have had any right to accuse America of anything, like they're doing now. The whole world would've turned against them even stronger.
@StiviGun1 Well I don't disagree that the world would have turned against them, while Germany was spared for the crime it has committed, a little unfair isn't it? Russia has been treated like this for the past century, Russian people killed and no one says a word, a Russian kills 1 European, the world screams "Russian aggression".
@Unit987654321 Why don't you go read about the crimes, rapes and atrocities the Russian soldiers committed in ALL the countries they "liberated" after WW2. Then you'll understand why the world was so much against them. The Germans were "spared" by the crimes they committed for 2 reasons: 1st, the were bombed back to the stone age and 2nd, they only committed crimes in Russia, while they were retreating. In Europe, they fought a relatively clean war. The Russians, on the other hand, were raping,
@StiviGun1 Okay, but Germany only lost 8 million people, so your first reason doesn't mean anything, compared to Russia's 26 million death count. And there were many Europeans from various countries that were levied into the Germany army and sent into Russia, they also killed their own share of Soviet people.
@Unit987654321 Well, Germany probably lost fewer people than the Russians. The material damage was much higher though. Everything was destroyed. Of course, there's another reason why they were spared: they were no longer the enemy, the communism was the enemy. But the truth is that, in Europe, the Russians committed much more atrocities than the Germans and that's why6 they were hated more than the Germans.
As for the other people that fought in the German army, my opinion is that they are
@Unit987654321 responsible for a very low percentage of the atrocities. The German soldiers were the ones that committed the crimes. The Germans were the ones that hated the Russians, not the other peoples that were forced to fight in the German army.
@StiviGun1 Well that is your opinion, I heard many other things. Material damage? What about everything in the occupied territories of the USSR? Everything there was destroyed, and that area is much larger than little Germany.
As for the material damage, yes, Germany suffered much more material damage than the USSR. It suffered MUCH MORE intense bombings than the USSR. The USSR was attacked mainly by ground forces. The air power that was brought over it was nothing compared with the air power that was used on Germany. But like I said, any person that lived those times will tell you that the German occupation was piece of cake compared with the Russian occupation
@StiviGun1 You're talking about the proportional level, a lot of people particularly in the West talk proportionally about this because they hate Russians. Proportionally you can say Germany lost more materials, maybe even people too. However that still does not account for the damage in the occupied territories of Belarus, Ukraine, and a part of Russia.
@Unit987654321 As far as material damage goes, I;m not talking proportionally. Germany suffered much more material losses than the USSR. And I never said that accounts for what they did in USSR and you just don't understand why the Europeans hate the Russians more even though I explained you several times. The Russians were much worse than the Germans, their occupation was much more brutal. Nobody hates you for nothing and the Russians are guilty of many things, that's why people hate them.
@StiviGun1 And the loss of life the USSR suffered. It was also the Cold War and the US propaganda that exaggerated all the Soviet crimes to make them look bad, I mean you see more Western films of Soviet people pillaging that you see films of Germans mass murdering Soviets, just look a the number 26-28 million, that several tens of thousands per day in the 4 years that the USSR was involved
@Unit987654321 It was not American propaganda. What the Russians did in the eastern European countries they "liberated" is a historical fact. And in fact, A LOT of their crimes have still not been recognized. They committed much more atrocities than it's officially known. The Americans did talk against the Russians a lot, but 99% of what they were saying about the Russians and their crimes in the occupied eastern European countries was true.
@Unit987654321 And something else. The reason why there are more western movies with Russians committing crimes than with Germans committing crimes is because of the Russians. They brought this on themselves with the crimes they committed in the occupied countries. And let's not talk about the numerous crimes they committed in these countries AFTER they occupied them. Go read about the communist prisons they installed in these countries and how the prisoners were treated there.
@TheKifinas Well, I've never seen a western movie where the Russians are the bad guys. Maybe you can give the name of such a movie. And what the western media says about what the Russians did in their history it's not propaganda because it's true. In specially about what they did in the eastern European countries they occupied after WW2. All those atrocities are very real and there's not even 10% disclosed about what the Russians did here. In specially the communist regimes they installed here.
you're being very vague there - "it's all true", "all those atrocities" - Maybe YOU can give me some dates, numbers and facts? If not, go away and rant somewhere else.
@Suyamu Yeah right, give exact dates... Everything has bee covered up in all the countries USSR has occupied, the only evidences are the people's testimonies. I actually saw a documentary from the communist era in Romania where they were praising "the liberating soviet army"... It made me sick to my stomach! But the people who witnessed those atrocities, rapes and looting have no reason to lie. So yeah, I believe them, not what the Russians try to deny.
you're the one making retarded claims one after another and when I ask you to get more specific - because quite frankly I noticed your blatant ignorance - you're trying personal attacks. Classy.
You're the last one who should be talking about character.
@Suyamu You're too ignorant. I told you how things are about the proofs you want. The thing is you know how all those atrocities were covered up. But you still defend them. This shows what a shitty character you are.
@nedeljko18 Actually, you canadians are America's slaves... Of course you are, you're no good for anything else. Everything America says, you execute, no questions asked... Pathetic slaves. Come wash my socks, slave :)))))))
@StiviGun1 Dear friend, I have no doubt in my mind that you are a heavy faggot, but you are oblige to distinguished what kind and polite communication in this setting,we have never be a slave, but you are on the good way to be,soon dear Gypsy, have a nice day
@nedeljko18 "Kind and polite communication"... :)))))))) Well, this is one of the reasons why Americans hate you. Because, besides being dumb as fuck, you're also rude. And I guess that's why they keep you as their slaves and their socks washers. You're no good for anything else.
@Unit987654321 killing and robbing everything in their path IN ALL THE COUNTRIES they pretended they liberated. I know about this because they did the same things in Romania. Raping all the young girls they got their hands on, killing people's live stocks, robbing them and what they couldn't take with them, they were simply destroying. And before you tell me about the fact that we fought against them in Stalingrad, read about the Ribentrop-Molotov pact and what that meant for Romania.
@Unit987654321 they said they don't need them anymore because the Cold War is over. The Russians never thought in this way, for them the Cold War never ended. If you look at how many weapons systems programs the US abandoned after the Cold War (even though they could've developed them) you'll see that US is not the one that is still stuck in the Cold War mentality.
@SlavaSvarogu I admire the quality of your English, it certainly took years of intensive training to achieve such elaborate and beautiful ways to express yourself. Your mommy must be very, very proud...
@StiviGun1 Same for ICBMs: silos out, mobile platforms in. Every army modernizes itself. Russia is just doing it massively since for 20 years they didn't have the money to gradually modernize. Now it's a jump forward, towards a more professional, more computerized, less expensive to maintain, mobile, ground army / navy / air forces, etc...
@StiviGun1 and there's no need to be afraid of that modernization, Russia's always been very careful about its nuclear weapons and never used them in real war situations (while the US did... 2 times...). And they never lost a single warhead (Hollywood may disagree on that matter though), even when the USSR collapsed and the country was in deep chaos. It has always been in a defensive position since the beginning of the cold war (that was initiated in the West so the USSR just had to follow)...
@molumen Like I said, the new RS-24 is designed to be silo launched not mobile platform launched. And considering Russia history of attacking and occupying the smaller countries around it, I think there are very serious reasons to be worried about its military's modernization.
@StiviGun1 RS-24 missiles (replacing R-36 and UR-100n missiles) will have both mobile and silo based modifications, although silo-based version's count is reduced to a minimum.
@molumen Where do you get your info from? Show me your sources. Wiki clearly says that only the 1st 10 RS-24s will be mobile, the rest of them will replace the R-36M2 as silo based ICBMs.
@StiviGun1 USSR's invasion (Afghanistan) and interventions in Warsaw Pact countries (CS '68 for example) are by far not as destructive as what the US did in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Libya (ongoing), or Iran (planned). I don't speak about what it did in South America for years. How can we blame Iran for rushing towards nuclear weapons if the US openly speak of invasion? I don't say that I love Iran, North Korea or Libya, but hey, they can deal with their problems themselves, they're not children.
@molumen Actually, what Russia did in all the countries that it occupied after the WW2 and in Afghanistan and in Czechoslovakia is just as bad as what the US did in all the places you mentioned. US had South America, Russia had all its neighbors. Russia is in no way better than US. And don't speak about Libya or Iran. Iran hasn't even been attacked yet and in Libya, the US has a VERY SMALL role. In fact, right now, it's only NATO who's doing the bombings, not the US.
>> And considering Russia history of attacking and occupying the smaller countries around it, I think there are very serious reasons to be worried about its military's modernization. <<
That was the USSR. Russia is a different country now, give it a chance, will ya? The US has to change its ways towards Russia or they will recreate a new cold war situation were Russia will be again forced to close itself and show its teeth. I don't wanna see bombs fall from the sky. Do you?
@molumen Actually, Russia and the USSR is the same thing from mentality point of view. The Russians were the ones that formed the USSR and the Russians were the ones that did what they did during the USSR times. The same type of people that lead the USSR are now leading Russia. So from mentality point of view Russia is one and the same with the USSR.
@Roofius2 Yeah, that's exactly what Putin is. A shithead with soviet mentality. That's why nobody likes him anymore. If he wins the next year elections, Russia will face its version of Arab Spring. People are tired of that moron. His politics, based only on anti-American rhetoric don't impress anybody anymore and only make him look pathetic. Look at the way he campaigns. Laughable... When he doesn't speak against US, he's useless. A pathetic buffoon.
@Roofius2 Everything you said here is that pathetic soviet propaganda Putin is indoctrinating you with. All this anti-American rhetoric that you put in here is just pathetic, in specially that American is not Russia's enemy. Nobody's trying to "grasp" anything. That's just the bullshit propaganda the soviet Putin is selling to you to divert the Russian people's attention from Russia's real problems. And Russia, with its anti-American rhetoric and development of new ICBMs is the country
@Roofius2 of arms, not US. The US is not developing new weapons of mass destruction, Russia is. The US doesn't have anti-Russian rhetoric, Russia has shitty anti-American
rhetoric. Russia is a pathetic war mongering country under its current leadership. The current leadership must be changed and fortunately, like the past days events showed, many Russians have opened their eyes. There are great chances that Putin will not win the next year elections.
@StiviGun1 ha ha you zombie wake up idiots ! The US doesn't have anti-Russian rhetoric ? ha ha ! us government very day have anti russian rhetoric all us media lies about russian usa have 150 military base in world russian have 1 base in sirya usa atack every counrty in world usa = police state all us people zombie idiots in russian election 60 mln people ( 60 000 000 ) in moscow protest 25 000 people 60000000/25000 = 0.041 % all russian people fuck you and us government and media
@Roofius2 I didn't see any of Putin's supporters. If people love him, why don't they go out in the streets and support him, ha? Spare me the bullshit. And spare me with your anti-American bullshit propaganda. "usa attack every country in the world"... How brainwashed can you be? Everything you said here is Putin's pathetic anti-American rhetoric. On the other hand, I haven't heard one threat or anti-Russian statement from the Obama adm and even from the Bush adm. So no, the US doesn't
@Roofius2 have anti-Russian rhetoric. All the bullshits that you talk about, the "US media" that tells "lies about Russia", are nothing but anti-American propaganda from your shitty government to keep your brainwashed minds away from the real problems Russia has like poverty and corruption. And I see here that there are a lot of idiots who fall for it.
@Roofius2 Debt has nothing to do with economic growth and certainly not with living standards, which, in Russia, are among the lowest in the world... Learn a thing or 2 about economics before making such stupid statements.
And on what channel did the US media show Greek protesters and presented them like Russians, ha? All the protesters I've seen on CNN and Fox News show people who speak in Russian, not Greek. So nice try. And a very lame one too...
@Roofius2 I didn't say it's nothing, I said it has no impact on the American living standards... Living standards in America are far above those in Russia.
@StiviGun1 You travelled to Russia? Russia not poor! Your standards bad! You put on as ugly creatures At all of you thick and terrible! At you bad cars Your shops and houses are constructed of garbage! You do not build good houses You do not have good parks You the country of idiots To you have told that you are rich also you trust! Because you stupid
@Roofius2 I really laughed when you said "bad cars"... Show me one decent care Russia has ever made. :))))))) The rest of what you said is just that pathetic anti-American rhetoric and propaganda that your leaders are brainwashing you with. With what you said here, you proved that you are the dumbest people on Earth, if you believe these garbage sold to you by Putin and his FSB gang.
@Roofius2 Why the hell would I go to Russia to understand America...? BTW, I WAS in America 2 years ago. I worked as a life guard to a pool in Tennesse. I haven't seen any of the cliches I heard about America up to that point. People say they're obese and they like junk food, but the family that hosted were never even touching junk food. I saw a lot of people who like sports. They're great swimmer, including little kids. I haven't seen any of the cliches the Russian propaganda spreads
@Roofius2 about them. And I speak here from my own experience. The rumors that they're dumb and don't know anything about the world, are also false. All the people I've met and talked to were quite educated about the world and foreign policy. All you know is the pathetic propaganda that you see on Russian media channels. Stop believing the bullshit directed films about dumb Americans made by Russian media. What they do is that they make a montage with SOME people that, indeed, don't
Impressive. The russian missilistic technology has been and is the n. 1 in the world.
Congrats...
can you give me a little passage in the next space trip?
Tnx.

A nuclear response to aggression of NATO and the United States, Russia will make clear - this can be no doubt.
The Russian army today is the strongest in the world.
U.S. missile defense breaks Russian missiles at more than 90 percent.
Rossiskaya missile defense today is not insurmountable for NATO and U.S. missiles.

Fox News lies about riots in Russia
Protests in Russia have sprung up in reaction to the results of the Russian 2011 election. Fox news has missed the mark when covering the uproars in Moscow. The news media showed footage of riots in Greece claiming that people of Russia were upset at Vladimir Putin and his United Russia party. Is this all by design or a sincere mishap? Europe defence system can't defence !!!
ed6arx 7 months ago
@ed6arx It can defend, but not against the Russian ICBMs. It was not designed for that. You idiots. It wouldn't even be practical to install a system that can protect America in Europe... Learn how ballistic missiles and interceptors work. If America had wanted to place a defense system that could defend America, they would've installed it in America, not in Europe.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
So is this system operational within the Russian forces or is it just in the project phase?
StiviGun1 9 months ago
@StiviGun1 Club-M has been developed and tested back in 2006-2007 and is being used among other coastal defense systems by the Russian army. It is part of the long term program of modernization of the Russian army which includes 5-generation planes, new strategic missiles, satellites, new classes of submarines, new defense systems, new Main Battle Tanks, Global Positioning system GLONASS, and many many more...
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, I do agree with this system and 5th gen fighters and main battle tanks or satellites as being part of the modernization of the army, but I don't agree with the development of new ICBMs, SLBMs and new ballistic missiles submarines. Those are weapons of mass destruction and they don't need to be built anymore. Russia already has enough nuclear weapons and delivery systems to destroy the entire world. Why do they need new ICBMs?
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 It is just a modernization program, not an increase in power. The overall amount of strike force will stay the same, respecting all the existing agreements with the US. This modernization program has 2 main causes, the first one being that the Soviet and early post-Soviet weapon systems are getting dated, so they are updating/upgrading them to nowadays standards.
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, the new missiles are much more capable so they are an increase in firepower. And Russia doesn't need them. If the US can rely on the Minuteman, which was designed in the '50s, why can't Russia rely on missiles developed during the '70s? The argument about the Russian missiles getting outdated is a hogwash. The Russian ICBMs are much newer than the US ones so there's absolutely no need for Russia to develop even newer ones. That money can be put to better use instead.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 True, the new missiles are more capable 'cause delivery systems that are getting better (shoot farther, fly faster...). So yes from this point of view there is an increase in firepower. Russia is simply getting rid of its silo-based missiles and putting them onto stealthier mobile platforms. If the US has the right to put missiles close to Russia's borders, why doesn't Russia have the right to upgrade its missiles to keep itself safe?
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, actually, besides the fact that there's no need to develop those new missiles, the RS-24 is actually designed to replace the SS-18 and it will be silo-based. It won't be deployed on a mobile platform.
And the missiles the US is putting close to Russia's borders are DEFENSIVE ONES, not OFFENSIVE NUCLEAR ONES. There's a big difference. If Russia developed ABMs instead of offensive nuclear weapons, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@molumen You do that fucker??? Such fools ебанутых NOT ON the EARTH! FUCK! Update its missiles as you wish, from the mouth of the President of the Russian Федирации I have not heard of the ban to update its fighting force. Hahaha! Modernize the military strength of the country in the interests of each country, an idiot, dumb and now move his fighting force closer to our territory, this can already be perceived as an ATTACK!
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@molumen If nobody was upgraded to their weapons could fight with sticks out right now. That's stupid... my brother five years, EVEN HE would not ask such stupid questions. And you must have the IQ as in winter in siberia, -40
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 It's not like Russia WANTS to spend billions on weaponry or attack & destroy everyone on the planet (although the US Congress may think otherwise), they simply must, to stay in the game. China, is increasing its firepower, the US are planting their weapons in Europe (Caribbean Crisis anew?), doesn't Russia have the right to answer that?
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, whatever China develops that is against the US, not against Russia. So Russia is safe from China. In fact, right now, the US is confronting with two major military powers that are arming themselves against the it. So if anyone had the right to react, it's the US. Yet, the US doesn't react. You don't see them building new ICBMs and SLBMs like Russia is doing.

Lexmike1 2 months ago
@Lexmike1 Listen dipshit, if the US wanted to protect itself from your ICBMs, they would've built such a system in the US, not in Europe. It's impractical to do this from Europe. So that system is not "directed" at Russia (in fact, it can't be directed at anybody, it's a defensive system). But what idiots like you really must understand is that if you commit the stupid thing to start a war, all of you will die. Those who live in Moscow and St. Petersburg will be the 1st to die, so cut
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 your bullshit. You will never win such a war. You will all die and Putin will live very well in his bunkers. So stop talking about war and start focusing on your real problems.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
Think what you want, pussy get to love
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 The second cause comes from the US itself, with its anti-missile shield that is built in Europe (and infringing all previous agreements), and threatening Russian borders. Russia must develop weapons that are able to withstand and pierce this shield, in order to stay safe and relevant, and keep the nuclear balance equal.
It has been like that since the end of WW2. The US got the bomb - Russia had to create one. Von Braun helped the US develop ballistic missiles - Russia had to follow.
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, actually the anti-missile system the US wants to install in Europe doesn't have the capability to intercept the current Russian ICBMs. From 2020 there will be installed a small number of interceptors that can intercept ICBMs because that is when they estimate Iran will have ICBMs, but they will be in a small number so they won't be a threat for the Russian nuclear arsenal, so again, Russia has no need to develop new ICBMs.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 Yes you straight clairvoyant. And you Americans know that about the year 2015(2012-2016) will be the destruction of humanity and the beginning of a new era).
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@Lexmike1 There have been some many such "prophets" and prophecies about the destruction of the world. They said the end of the world would be in 2010. When they saw it didn't happen, they changed ti to 2012... Others speak about 2015... These are just people with a lot of spare time an no hobby. And those who take them serious are morons. These so called prophets are so laughable. Even though their "prophecies" fail to take place time and again, they still go on with this bullshits.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 Watching this video, I really began to worry about their loved ones. Russia believes, Russia will be saved(this was also mentioned several predictors."Russia will rise again and the world will shudder" (c) Nostradamus.
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@Lexmike1 Russia believes? What does Russia believe? Currently, it is run by two atheists. So what kind of shitty propaganda are you trying to spread in here, ha? Only uneducated people believe in these "predictions". Stop being laughable.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 The US created high-altitude spy planes, Russia had to create a plane capable to shoot'em down. Same for nuclear submarines, same for spy satellites, etc... Thanks to that constant state of oppression from the west, Russia now has a very strong technical base and scientific know-how and is able to develop high-class modern weaponry. The post-soviet chaos is long gone, and Russia's now stable and rapidly growing, so I think that they will keep on modernizing and evolving.
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, they will keep on modernizing and evolving, but so is the US. But my objection is against Russia's development of new ICBMs, SLBMs and ballistic missiles submarines. There's no need for that, Russia has enough of them already. Tell me this: how would Russia feel if the US would suddenly say that it needs to replace the Minuteman ICBMs with newer ones, capable of carrying 10 warheads and with the ability to evade any Russian ABM system? Tell me, how would Russia feel about that?
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 I'm sure that Russia expects the US to modernize its weapon systems since Minuteman III silo-based missiles are very old (70s), so it won't be a surprise.
About missile submarines, they are simply replacing the ones that are being decommissioned with new, more effective and safe ones (the Russian navy learn a lot from the Kursk story, sadly the cost of this lesson was incredibly high).
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Well, the US won't replace the Minuteman missiles, that's for sure. They'll just keep upgrading them. Russia could perfectly do that too. So why are they developing these new ICBMs? Who are they planning to use them against? I simply don't see any reason for Russia to develop new ICBMs or SLBMs.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 They're developing new ICBMs because they are more modern thus safer, less expensive to maintain, that also keeps the industry occupied, that gives jobs to scientists, the military are happy to receive new toys, that also make Russians proud of their country, also the US (and other countries) now notices and counts with Russia's voice and opinion on the international scene. It's not that they're gonna really use these ICBMs, they are more useful in oh-so-many other than military ways..
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Like I said, if the US can rely on ICBMs designed in the '50s, Russia definitely can rely on ICBMs designed in the '70s. The money spent on these new ICBMs are just a waste. I see Russia never stopped investing all its money in weapons. Anyway, Russia doesn't really need these new ICBMs and building them is just a sign of aggression from Russia. Like I said, if they would build ABM systems, like the US, I wouldn't have any problem with that. But building NEW WMDs is a totally different
StiviGun1 8 months ago
What we want and build it. Are you an American fag zasun his dick in his mouth, and sit in the ass pushed up the TV remote. You're such a fuck who ever that there is something to be addressed? I look at all the U.S. began to lose their fear ...
Lexmike1 2 months ago
@Lexmike1 Yes, you dipshit, the US does begin to lose its fear of Russia. In fact, they're not afraid of Russia for a long time. Your bullshit as how you would have the balls to start a nuclear war doesn't work anymore. You're not suicidal. You would never have the balls to launch your missiles against US. What city are you living in? Moscow? St. Petersburg? You know that these will be the 1st targets of the US missiles? How would you like to see a 475 kt nuclear fireball over your

StiviGun1 2 months ago

At least they go out in the streets and protest against their leaders foreign policies, you don't even do that.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@molumen thing.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@molumen You know, it's funny how for you, Russia building new weapons (that doesn't actually need) just for creating jobs and get the industry going is fine, but when the US does this, people like you, immediately start accusing the US. This is double standards and hypocrisy. Russia simply doesn't need new weapons of mass destruction and the development of the RS-24, Bulava and the Borei submarines has no excuse. This is a clear sign of aggression from Russia.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 And the US sending it's navy to various countries world wide and sticking their noses into other nation's business is not aggression to you at all?
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 That's aggression. But Russia is the last country that has the right to point the finger. Just like many other hypocrites from Europe who also committed a lot of rimes in their history.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 I like how you said that Russia has the right to do that, and I agree with that.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 Actually, I said Russia doesn't have the right to do that...
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 Well why the fuck not? US is sending troops all over the world, and Russia isn't even allowed to develop weapons, in your opinion? Sound like some biased bs to me.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 I was talking about pointing the finger. Russia doesn't have the right to accuse US of anything since they have a much longer history of aggression and crimes against other nations. As for developing weapons, Russia develops weapons specifically against the US and this shows exactly who is the one that never got over the Cold War.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 As if the US don't do the same... They test their new weapons on captured Soviet era equipment that they get from the Iraqis such as export variants of T72's and shit. These 2 countries will continue to develop arms to counter each other for as long as they live, you can sum it up as the quote "Wars begin when you will, but they do not end when you please". The only real crimes I can see in Russian history was against the Baltic states, Poland and Afghanistan. Other wars Russia defend
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 Actually, the US stopped developing weapon against Russia long ago, right after the Cold War ended. Numerous weapons programs were also canceled or stopped. For instance, the Abrams tank production was stopped. Russia, on the other hand, never stopped developing weapons precisely against the US.
As for the Russians' history, they committed A LOT of crimes in their history, starting from the Russian Empire era. In specially against the smaller countries around them which they
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 Again, I repeat that the US are still testing their latest weapons on captured export variants of T72 they got from Iraq. And throughout history it was mainly Russia defending itself, the Mongols, the Tatars, the Polish, the Teutonic knights, the Turks, they all tried to invade. After centuries of defense, Russia has the right to act the way it does now, I mean they could have easily wiped out the population of East Germany if they wanted to, but no, they didn't.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 And what are those "latest" weapons that the Americans are testing? If they do conduct tests, then they're testing their older systems, they don't have any "latest" weapons.
As for Russia destroying East Germany, that would've been the dumbest thing they could've done. Why would they have done that? The idea was to gain control over the Eastern Europe (and possibly even whole Europe), not to destroy it... That's why they didn't destroy East Germany, not because they're so fucking
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 nice, as you imply...
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 Considering what the Germans did to the Soviets in WW2, the USSR could have easily just exterminated all ethnic Germans in East Germany, I say they were quite generous. Both the US and Russia constantly develop onto their latest designs, so for example tanks, the US build on their Abrams while Russia upgrades T72 and renames it to T90. You can say the Cold War is over, and for the most part it is, but the arms race still lives on.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
Exterminating all ethnic Germans from East Germany would've been a very stupid thing to do. That would've been genocide and that would've turned against USSR...
As for the arms race, the arms race goes on for Russia much more than for the US. Like I said, the US has even stopped the Abrams production after the Cold War ended (a big mistake) while the Russians are still developing Cold War weapons, like Khrizantema. The Americans have also canceled a lot of programs (good ones) simply because
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 As if the actions the Germans were committing in occupied territories of the USSR was not genocide, no one cared about that. I love how that happens, when millions of Russians die, the West presents it as almost nothing, when a few hundred thousand German women are raped and a few killed, the West creates a documentary talking about how evil the USSR is and the so called crimes they committed. Most people in the US don't even know how many Russians died...
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 What I said was that exterminating the East German population would have turned against the USSR and that's why they didn't do it, not because the Russians are so fucking good people. And I never downplayed the genocide the Germans committed in USSR.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 The 20th century was brutal for Russia, after all of what happened, Russia has the right to develop arms, I can't think of a single country that has lost more people in the 20th century than Russia, to be honest. The US already has a shit ton of military equipment and after the wars in the Middle East, it's economy is plummeting, they are in huge debt and developing more and new arms is just a waste of money for the US.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 Well, if Russia lost more people than any other country was because of their own leaders who were exterminating their own people, in specially Stalin. And this certainly doesn't give them the right to develop weapons against other countries.
As for the US "new weapons", maybe you can give me some examples of those. I already gave you some examples of very good weapons systems that were canceled based on the idea that the Cold War is over. You'll never see weapons programs
StiviGun1 6 months ago
canceled in Russia based on this idea.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 The US has 9000 Abrams tanks, Russia has a little more than 2500 tanks in total of the T72, T80 and T90 variants. The US has 2 of the largest air forces in the world. They have a larger navy. Russia does have more artillery. And I am saying that the US didn't cancel their weapon development as a result of the end of the Cold War, but rather because they are running out of funds to support that development. As for Germany, how would that be bad for Russia?
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 The US has about 6000 Abrams tanks, 9000 were produced in total. Russia has about 22000 tanks, 7000 of them in active service. They also have much more artillery pieces and rocket launchers.
And the US didn't cancel their weapons because they don't have funds, in specially during the '90s when their economy was the strongest. They still have the biggest GDP at 14 trillion dollars. They have a lot of money. Russia was the one that ran out of money after the Co,d War, not the US.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 As for Germany, that would've been bad for Russia, because that genocide would've haunted them A LONG TIME after that. They certainly wouldn't have had any right to accuse America of anything, like they're doing now. The whole world would've turned against them even stronger.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 Well I don't disagree that the world would have turned against them, while Germany was spared for the crime it has committed, a little unfair isn't it? Russia has been treated like this for the past century, Russian people killed and no one says a word, a Russian kills 1 European, the world screams "Russian aggression".
Unit987654321 6 months ago

Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 Well, Germany probably lost fewer people than the Russians. The material damage was much higher though. Everything was destroyed. Of course, there's another reason why they were spared: they were no longer the enemy, the communism was the enemy. But the truth is that, in Europe, the Russians committed much more atrocities than the Germans and that's why6 they were hated more than the Germans.
As for the other people that fought in the German army, my opinion is that they are
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 responsible for a very low percentage of the atrocities. The German soldiers were the ones that committed the crimes. The Germans were the ones that hated the Russians, not the other peoples that were forced to fight in the German army.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 Well that is your opinion, I heard many other things. Material damage? What about everything in the occupied territories of the USSR? Everything there was destroyed, and that area is much larger than little Germany.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 That is not my opinion. That is history.

Unit987654321 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 You're talking about the proportional level, a lot of people particularly in the West talk proportionally about this because they hate Russians. Proportionally you can say Germany lost more materials, maybe even people too. However that still does not account for the damage in the occupied territories of Belarus, Ukraine, and a part of Russia.
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 As far as material damage goes, I;m not talking proportionally. Germany suffered much more material losses than the USSR. And I never said that accounts for what they did in USSR and you just don't understand why the Europeans hate the Russians more even though I explained you several times. The Russians were much worse than the Germans, their occupation was much more brutal. Nobody hates you for nothing and the Russians are guilty of many things, that's why people hate them.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 And the loss of life the USSR suffered. It was also the Cold War and the US propaganda that exaggerated all the Soviet crimes to make them look bad, I mean you see more Western films of Soviet people pillaging that you see films of Germans mass murdering Soviets, just look a the number 26-28 million, that several tens of thousands per day in the 4 years that the USSR was involved
Unit987654321 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 It was not American propaganda. What the Russians did in the eastern European countries they "liberated" is a historical fact. And in fact, A LOT of their crimes have still not been recognized. They committed much more atrocities than it's officially known. The Americans did talk against the Russians a lot, but 99% of what they were saying about the Russians and their crimes in the occupied eastern European countries was true.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 And something else. The reason why there are more western movies with Russians committing crimes than with Germans committing crimes is because of the Russians. They brought this on themselves with the crimes they committed in the occupied countries. And let's not talk about the numerous crimes they committed in these countries AFTER they occupied them. Go read about the communist prisons they installed in these countries and how the prisoners were treated there.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 go and see the prison in iraq and then shut up !!
TheKifinas 6 months ago
@TheKifinas The prison in Iraq doesn't have anything to do with our debate here...
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1 look western movies always puts russians as the bad guys because they are western !! is a propaganda game wake up !!!
TheKifinas 6 months ago
@TheKifinas Well, I've never seen a western movie where the Russians are the bad guys. Maybe you can give the name of such a movie. And what the western media says about what the Russians did in their history it's not propaganda because it's true. In specially about what they did in the eastern European countries they occupied after WW2. All those atrocities are very real and there's not even 10% disclosed about what the Russians did here. In specially the communist regimes they installed here.

StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 killing and robbing everything in their path IN ALL THE COUNTRIES they pretended they liberated. I know about this because they did the same things in Romania. Raping all the young girls they got their hands on, killing people's live stocks, robbing them and what they couldn't take with them, they were simply destroying. And before you tell me about the fact that we fought against them in Stalingrad, read about the Ribentrop-Molotov pact and what that meant for Romania.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@Unit987654321 they said they don't need them anymore because the Cold War is over. The Russians never thought in this way, for them the Cold War never ended. If you look at how many weapons systems programs the US abandoned after the Cold War (even though they could've developed them) you'll see that US is not the one that is still stuck in the Cold War mentality.

@StiviGun1 Same for ICBMs: silos out, mobile platforms in. Every army modernizes itself. Russia is just doing it massively since for 20 years they didn't have the money to gradually modernize. Now it's a jump forward, towards a more professional, more computerized, less expensive to maintain, mobile, ground army / navy / air forces, etc...
molumen 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 and there's no need to be afraid of that modernization, Russia's always been very careful about its nuclear weapons and never used them in real war situations (while the US did... 2 times...). And they never lost a single warhead (Hollywood may disagree on that matter though), even when the USSR collapsed and the country was in deep chaos. It has always been in a defensive position since the beginning of the cold war (that was initiated in the West so the USSR just had to follow)...
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Like I said, the new RS-24 is designed to be silo launched not mobile platform launched. And considering Russia history of attacking and occupying the smaller countries around it, I think there are very serious reasons to be worried about its military's modernization.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 RS-24 missiles (replacing R-36 and UR-100n missiles) will have both mobile and silo based modifications, although silo-based version's count is reduced to a minimum.
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Where do you get your info from? Show me your sources. Wiki clearly says that only the 1st 10 RS-24s will be mobile, the rest of them will replace the R-36M2 as silo based ICBMs.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1 USSR's invasion (Afghanistan) and interventions in Warsaw Pact countries (CS '68 for example) are by far not as destructive as what the US did in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Libya (ongoing), or Iran (planned). I don't speak about what it did in South America for years. How can we blame Iran for rushing towards nuclear weapons if the US openly speak of invasion? I don't say that I love Iran, North Korea or Libya, but hey, they can deal with their problems themselves, they're not children.
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Actually, what Russia did in all the countries that it occupied after the WW2 and in Afghanistan and in Czechoslovakia is just as bad as what the US did in all the places you mentioned. US had South America, Russia had all its neighbors. Russia is in no way better than US. And don't speak about Libya or Iran. Iran hasn't even been attacked yet and in Libya, the US has a VERY SMALL role. In fact, right now, it's only NATO who's doing the bombings, not the US.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1
Do you?
molumen 8 months ago
@molumen Actually, Russia and the USSR is the same thing from mentality point of view. The Russians were the ones that formed the USSR and the Russians were the ones that did what they did during the USSR times. The same type of people that lead the USSR are now leading Russia. So from mentality point of view Russia is one and the same with the USSR.
