@glenjacobs423 The thing is a lot of what most "mainstream" Christians think is based literally on the bible. Most of the so called "true" Christians reject dna, or even geological evidence that everything wasn't created in a small amount of time. Now I am just using Christians as an example, but that is just because I just know more about them. The thing is, people can be Atheist or Agnostic and still have morals. The way they act is all the same except its out of choice not fear.

If you don't have God in your life, you will always feel empty and restless inside. Nothing, no amount of TV, food, sex, shopping, working out can make it go away. Find God, find peace. religiousness (The need of a response to the question ``Why do we exist?) its in the essence of every human being. Religions are created to try to response this question. Now, in one of the parts of the video, you are trying to make Religion=Science. Science only studies the how and, in physics, the why of phenomenon's. You may have confused with myth, which its not religion. The myth tries to give response to the questions of humans. Myths make humans ignorant, because they dont give the truth.
If atheists ruled the world, you'd just get communism, and we all know how that has worked out. Not saying democracy is much better, but if I have a choice, I'm going with democracy.

@BarryGCarpenter The concept of God is a theory at best. A theory is something that can never be proved only disproven through experimentation. It remains a theory until it is disproven. No one has ever proved or disproven God. All people know is the existence of a physical universe states, something existed before our universe manifested itself. No one knows exactly what existed. The bible is a collection of esoteric writings gathered from unknown sources. It's just ancient science conveyed in beautifully written stories. If you take the stories literally, you'll miss the hidden gems underneath. If you look deeper all will be revealed to you.

U can never be made righteous by action only by belief. This is what grace is. When Abraham believed God when he told him he'd have a son at over 100 yrs of age, that belief was credited to him as righteous. Abraham did nothing else but believe in the plans of the heavens.

The punishment for sin is metered out to everyone equally, for death will come to all men whether u live righteously or not. No one man, idea, country or government can change the world for the better. It'll take a rebirth of human consciousness on a global scale to overthrow our current serparate ideologies. I think religion help people be creative. It opens your mind to another world and universe. I love the idea of good vs. evil. It's the basis of many movies and books. I think if atheist world the world, there would be originality. It would be boring if there were only atheists.

@NOISLAMINUSA I've looked into these people that christians constantly accuse of atheism, and many of them were raised catholic. I don't know why it's so often catholic.
