-c- I ended up calling up Barack Obama's campaign, pretending I was with some pretentious student newspaper -- since I didn't have a press pass, I couldn't technically report on Barack's speech. However, I could report on my experience at the rally. After droning on about my planned "experience piece," they said we could go as long as we sent them a confirmation online. We went back to our hotel, only to find out - our hotel had no internet. It was an eventful, yet highly unsuccessful day. -c-

I auditioned for Julliard (still thinking I might go into theatre), and, in the hotel, it listed that Barack Obama was going to be holding a rally there the next day. I inquired about the rally at the front desk, and they told me it would be starting at three. When I got back to my hotel, I rallied up two friends - at three o'clock, we took a taxi over. It turns out it was starting at six - and we needed permission to enter. -c-
