I've ordered a NTSC-J copy of the game and have a PAL jtag'd xbox and am trying to make the undub version but it's not really going too well. Do you know which files to replace?
I don't think it's as simple as replacing audio files.
The version from Demonoid looked like it had some extensive modifications done to the XEX file, and probably game files as well which needed unpacking and repacking.
Damnit.. I sold my X360 a while ago and the dashboard wasn't updated for ages ; I could have JTagged it, but I wasn't aware of JTAG at the time :(. Finding/buying new one that is JTAGgable will be hard and expensive D:
Btw on another note, the dub of ToV is anything but horrendous. Original audio always wins, however, it is notable that the dubs generally in Tales games are excellent, and this comes from a person who despises dubs generally.
japanese voices are really better

I may have to go grab this and a 360 >__> This still keeps the game playable with full english text and subtitles, but makes the audio Japanese?

Yep. Everything is subtitled except the generic enemy battles which doesn't really matter.

Tales of the Abyss REALLY needed an undub. The English voice acting for this game was pretty solid though, I thought.

The dub was actually well done compared to a lot of dubs out there. No need to call it horrendous.

Found it on Demonoid, but it requires a JTAG hacked Xbox 360.
