  • @macrobioticman u dont know what ur talkn about...ed parker even showd bruce a few things....what he taught was very practical

  • How long ago was this video done

  • Is the best fighting system hands down!

  • Kenpo

  • Sorry Kenpo is Great, the techniques are amazing and perfect, the instructors were not interested in taking just money. There was a great teaching atmosphere and proper instruction. Hence I'm now a Kenpo Instructor and have my own school and have belts in various arts, so before you judge a world wide system maybe you should do some reseach first. Sorry Kenpo is just Great.

  • @KidsKicksforChrist sorry Kenpo is bullshit, the techniques are poor and sloppy, I took my son to lessons, the instructors were more interested in taking money than teaching proper technique , there's no discipline or proper instruction and it looks awful. Hence I'm now taking him to Ishinryu Karate founded by Ticky Donovan. The 2 arnt even comparable , and be fire you say I trained when was young and have belts in various arts. Kenpo is just awful sorry

  • @macrobioticman Sorry you had a bad experience. There are good and bad instructors in any art - just the way it is.

I've had nothing but good instructors and my Kenpo has worked just fine on the street. The techniques provide a framework for understanding the physiology of motion and reaction. It's just a practical art that works. Nothing more but nothing less.

  • @macrobioticman So you think you can judge all of Kenpo based on what happened at one school? Look, every art is going to have good schools and bad schools. No art is immune from posturing bullshit artists that are just out to take your money. Please don't label Kenpo as bullshit based on your experiences at one school.

  • @macrobioticman Perhaps the Kenpo instructor was a lousy one. There certainly are lots of them. But all Kenpo and its teachers are not the same. Painting anything with such a broad brush is not smart. I've seen good and bad in ALL styles.

  • Great Master with great disciples, Rip ED Bow

  • Fools come out of the book work talking crap, probably never been in a dojo in their life. You surely don't see these did respectful people walk in any dojo and try to make their point, They would rather be keyboard warriors with all the answers and knowledge of what works and don't, yet have no training and if they do they show how they were taught, dis respectful and the lack of taking anything good and making it work. Kenpo tested in gladiator camps got a A+ each time..Go learn some respect

  • So much knowledge in this 4 minute clip! RIP Master Parker!

  • @mikeshredder233 I'm interested in what you said, but I need periods and commas so I can sort it all out. Secondly, in order to be convincing, or at least arguably convincing, you have to display intellect through your use of correct grammar, etc. I mean no offence (and I apoligize if English is a foreign language for you). I would like to see some sources for your comments though. Thank you.

  • Maybe some streetfighters walk in with this kinda classical karate lunge punch. But if so, they definitely do it with more commitment than this Parker partner, who seems numb after the first counter. How many martial artists have truly studied how and why street jerks would attack them? How many, more or less, have developed realistic strategies for defending against them? I don't mean to beat up on Parker. But did he EVER address these issues?

  • @stevevandien Well the answer is yes; you need to do some more research. There is matiriel, books, and interviews you should check out. This subject is a blur for me from which source but i do remember him talking about that subject. I do agree about the attacker, the issue is that you cant have your attackers attack you full speed and intent every time. Reason being is if you do then you will end up Destroying your partner. I do agree there needs to be focus at the same time tho.

  • Powerfull in that it almost destroyed the beautifull Polynesian culture!!!!

  • Ed was a fraud. Ed's wife said Steve Sanders was their most effective fighter well Steve received his BB from Dan Insosanto! Ed really wanted to know the secrets of the Hawaiian style Lua but since he was more interested in Mormonisn the Hawaiians didn't teach him.....Come on Elvis a Black Belt?

  • @SuperKenster1 He knew a more powerful secret. The secret of Mormonism.

  • @GohModley - too bad mormanism is all bullshit. Look up Joseph Smith. The expert he claimed told him the meaning of the hieroglyphics - came forward and said Smith lied - and that bullshit he gave him was all made-up gibberish. Look at ALL the evidence with an open mind. Even the documents the LDS church tried to buy, to bury the evidence.

  • I love the cicular,linear,circular concept.

  • I can't believe how fast Mr. Parker moves.
