Might a bubble tank not be easier and more efficient? With a small fish tank pump you should be able to knock one up. Maybe even a pond pump.

@RetroRepair although the chemicals are likeley to damage the pumps impeller because theyre only designed to take on water being that most are only made of a low grade plastic

Do you heat the ferric chloride? Or is it just at room temperature?

cool. under normal circumstances how long does an etching take?

Hi there. Two tea spoon of ferric chloride with 30ml of water can etch a PCB size of 5cm X 10cm in less than 10 mins. Hope this is useful to you. Cheers.

hi i made something like this, but smaller.

i used a pyrex rectangular bowl, and a heater(a long spiral on a pcb) under it.

works great!
