A friend of mine told me to listen to this song because I just broke up with my girlfriend and it so explained my situation. I loved her but I felt that the relationship hit a ceiling and I started resenting being with her and faking that I missed her when she was gone but I really thought the relationship wasn't going anywhere. I could have kept it to myself and just went on with it being miserable. It killed me to break up with her but I had to do it. I know I made the right decision.
I finally get the first verse. It's about how the bravest thing he's done was to run away from something that happens and not confront it, and the weakest thing was to simply ignore what's gone wrong and stay around with whoever was to blame for the incident. I can relate to this so much.
This song is incredible because it can relate to so many people. It's amazing how many people have gone through this. Why do we all keep wasting our time?
I enjoyr this song. I find that it presents a pretty common relationship situation and explains it from both sides. This song should encourage people who are not in love with the person they are with to be honest...and those who are on the receiving end of this honesty to recognize that they aren't that weak..and they will, with time, be fine... with no more wasted time.
