and, as much as it pains me to say, i totally remember this season finale as a kid back in 94! i remember it because there was controversy as to whether it should play due to the OKC bomb in 94. But, forget OKC, I will ALWAYS remember the MP bomb!!!!! And, Kimberly's crazy ass. God, I must have been in like 7th Grade & this show was really IT!!!!

I remember this episode like it was yesterday. i was glued to the tv, and i remember screaming because Alison was my fav. character and i so didnt want her to get hurt, but of course she got the worse of the explosion. She went blind. The good of ol days of Melrose Place on Monday nights

I remember watching this when it originally aired. I was in Highschool and i would have Melrose Place "viewing parties" and that night me, my boyfriend, my mother, her husband and another of my friends were all gathered around the TV transfixed by this episode and we were all PISSED that the inevitable explosion was delayed until the season 4 opener but it gave us something to anticipate.

Yes, it was originally supposed to end with the explosion and now we see it end with Kimberly's face and the menacing words "it's worse"...

The reason why it didn't end with the explosion was because of the Oklahoma City bombing a month prior to this. The producers didn't want to air an explosion so soon after the real life event so they delayed it a few months and ended the season with the final shot of Kimberly's face and her menacing words "it's worse"
