I also tried this on Chrome & it worked. But, sad thing is, it doesn't let you see videos before the year 2010; which gets me pissed. I want to see all my videos from 2008. :(

It doesn't work. It says an error occured when I go to annotations and when I try to download it it just downloads the original video from before I replaced the id. This wasted about 30 mins of my life.

So it's worked for most of my videos, but there are some of my old deleted videos where I can actually see the old thumbnail of the video and when i try to add it as an annotation it doesn't play but rather shows that an error has occurred. Some of my favorite videos are coming up like this but its only select ones. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

@enfyyy No, there is no way to do it. When you delete a video, youtube deletes all of it's comments and ratings. It only keeps the statistics of the video's views. Therefore there is no way to bring them back to your account. You can only reupload the deleted video file.

Because if you closed your account all your vids get deleted and if you want the video file again, this is what you do. This tutorial has nothing to do with getting your video back if it was deleted because of copyright.

@DarkenedSilverMoon As long as you are able to reopen your account and access it, yes. You can. Because what u just said happened to me (on my main account EnIgMoZz2). Someone hacked into my account and closed my account. And if a YouTube account gets closed, all of the channel's videos are deleted. The video I get back in this tutorial was a video that got deleted because a hacker got into my account and closed it. But I was able to reopen and it change my password by emailing YouTube. :D

2º You could get the url if you posted somewhere as youtube portable player, but if not there's no way of getting the url of the vid back!
