Now that I'm doing watching the entire JP+Craig storyline, I actually feel quite hollow now that I'm done watching these videos, and I have to go back to watching the latest episodes.

I only started watching HO in 2010, so I missed out on all this. But after watching the entire John Paul and Craig storyline, I can safely say that this is, hands down, the greatest storyline to ever be on a soap opera. Without a doubt.

@smileygirl301 I'm sorry but their story ends here. There were one or two mentions of them, but no one visited the show again. It's a pitty, cos they were the cuttest. It seems like they are still together off screen. We can only imagine what their life in Dublin could be...

Always love rewatching this episode. (The first time i was so nervous it wouldn't work out I was a wreck--but jumped up and cheered when JP said "I wouldn't have missed any of it for the world." The poster in the background (sunset, as in sunset ending) was perfect.

Hollyoaks failed attempt at making another gay couple is in absolute turmoil. Notthing can amount to how amazingly bonded JP and Craig are. The chemistry between them is just, wow. Brendan and Ste? NO WAY

@MapleAndAnimeCrazy Ok I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. I don't think that HO have fail with their new(ish) gay couple of ste and brendan. The thing with Craig and John Paul was theirs was a story about true love plus they were young boys discovering who they really were. With ste and brendan it's different because of brendan and how ste took to being gay plus it's way darker and more disturbing. I don't think they are meant to be about being soulmates but they do have great chemistry.

@CJPDeQueen I know the storylines are pretty different, considering Brendan and Ste are based on abuse and JPC was the sexuality confusion, but I just personally don't think it works. I mean, kudos to HO for trying to get the message across that there is gay couples out there that suffer from violent abuse, but I just don't think it works. Ste prancing around like a fairy then whacking Brendan with a baseball bat seems completely out of the blue. I guess Emmet and Kieron do have chemistry with

I ain't proud of myself because I hated ste when he was with amy cos of what he was doing to her but now the tables are turned and yet some sick part of me wants them to work it out and believe me it's ridicilous that I can possible feel this way. I actually couldn't stand brendan (or mitzeee) when they were first on HO but now I think they are some of my favourites now. As for the 'stashe' I don't mind it at all

@CJPDeQueen Brendan reminds me too much of a 60's villain, gelled hair and the stache. The stache, it just twitches everytime he speaks *shudders* Ergo : Not a big fan of to much facial hair. That was really out of the blue, but yeah lol. I've given up on HO anyway now, Storylines don't interest me at all and there are way to many new characters. Apparently birng 'new faces' into the show improves it. I think not.

@VariahR For me who isn't a massive stendan fan I would only like to see them in a 'healthy relationship' for a while cos I like brendan but as for a happy ending, it just wouldn't be realistic. I don't think it's just about them being gay cos hey ste and noah would be liked. It's just that they do have this chemistry between them on screen (IMO) and that is why some people ship them despite it being utter madness because I don't believe many people shipped amy/ste whe he was abusing her

Ridicilous sls and no consistence in any of their stories/plots. It really needs a good shake up and as much as I don't wanna see anyone out of a job, they need to cut some of the cast. I do fear for the actual programme and am not sure how long it will last if it doesn't start to pull in a decent audience like over a million regularly on the 6.30 show

Everyone should have a happy ending like this. These guys know everything about each other, good & bad, and accept each other. Now they are going to build a life together, just like a marriage. A formula that has worked since the begining - meet, date for a good while (2 years minimum), marry.

Oh...cos he was kidnapped by Niall who wanted revange from his family. The Mcqueens, except Tina, survived a Church explosion. That´s why JP is all bruise. Craig does not appear in this episodes.

They were still together. JP was in Dublin with Craig, but we never got to see how Niall got him. Recently, Frankie was seeing her family photo album and there was a picture of JP and Craig, so we can only assume they´re still together.

Hhmm, I highly doubt it. Both Guy and James have said it was time to move on from John Paul and Craig, that they got their happy ending and it should be left at that. Guy has been busy doing some directing and short films and James is about to start work on the soap Emmerdale, so getting them both back, even for a short storyline or a visit is unlikely I think. They've pretty much both said that they were done.

they are safe now, from soap gods, sisters, mothers, psycos and priest. i am happy for them and in my heart they live forever in love and together. while i miss them so much i can't breathe, i am glad that they ended like this, i get so tired of seeing the bad endings. Both James and Guy did come back for seperate brief stints; James reprised his role for the church explosion and Guy reprised his role in Hollyoaks Later. But apart from that, I think they're done. No actor wants to be typecast, after all.

The soft, quiet scene between JP and his Mom was very sweet; then his Mom comes back and sees he and his passport are gone. In the next scene, the Epic Last Song starts playing and JP is rushing at the train station: so much joy that I wanted to cry. He finds Craig, who kisses him for the first time in public. They declare their love for each other, and snuggle on the train, on their way to a new life together. I can't think of a happier ending to this stormy, often tormented love story. THANKS!
