  • Cool

  • ang galing nang animation....

  • Great Animation..

  • 0:25 ... uh... im guessing the designers of this commercial don't know the laws of physics very well. still a great ad.

  • Wait.. if a wheel hit by another whell produced that the 2nd one go up the slope, wouldn't the trunk of the car closing produce the car, that has 4 wheels instead of 1, to go backwards, going UP the slope?

  • chuck norris could do it reverse

  • Anybody knows what`s the song starting at the end? Thanks!

  • pretty cool, except its a waste of real art. the car parts are fine, just take out the car, instead have something else that can hit the button on the ground, and have to sign say some life lesson

  • can't tell if's trolling

    or just stupid.

  • @RhinoSanderson Okay broski, but what do weeks have anything to do with this commercial?

  • Watch this commercial too. So beautiful! youtube.com/watch?v=lzIToNemCug

  • its beend avorded best video by da bess speeler onn uu tubbeee

  • ah i found the reason the wheels go up the incline at 2:06. as you may have noticed the video is not only amazing in itself, but advertises the cars features, such as automatic windscreen wipers that detect water, sound system, automatic windscreen, keys etc... well the wheels going up is showing off a wheel technology, where weights are put into the wheels in order to help the car rebalance on inclines, a useful feature. so now all you haters have to face the truth, its real.

  • come on there must be a reason the wheels go up the ramp, i doubt, after hours and hours of endless work, they looked at it and went "oh shit thats right, gravity pulls stuff down". theres some sorta material on the ramp, perhaps that is pulling them up like a conveyer belt?

  • 0:26 LOL Physics are gone?

  • wheels can go upwards if you put a weight on top of them. while wheels go up, center of gravity can go down because of that weight...

  • @ersinrc this guy is right....... i think this the theory behind this gravity defying act of wheels... :)

  • how long did they take in order to make it?

  • very nice

  • The video is real. It's been researched by the fine folks over at Snopes, and it is real. As for the tires rolling up the incline, they can do that if you put a weight in the tires, forcing it to roll up in order to rebalance.

  • how long is the room?? O_o

  • thet put weights in the tires idiots

  • This commercial is full of fail. Tires moving slowly up an incline.

    FAIL

  • This commercial is full of fail. Tires moving slowly up an incline.

    FAIL

  • ok,the slogan is great

  • fuck physics

  • ...so this video has been avorded huh? read (description) anyone mind telling me what that cheak, beend and ull mean?

  • its real, snopes confirmed it

  • ahahahh Is it real??? Losers

    look at 24th sec..

  • This Commercial MAKES NO SENSE!

  • @SafeeG When you buy a Honda, you don't get a car but the people from Honda will set up a Goldberg machine made from Honda car parts in your living room. You get to watch it once and then agree how nice it is when it all works. Hope this clarifies any confusion that it's actually a car commercial, because car commercials tell me that my car will make me the center of attention and add inches to my...um...ego.

  • I'm going to try that with my dads car!

  • this is true.

  • nobody that has commented this video does have a clue wether this video is real or fake.

  • a real car has a v8 ;)

  • fake and gay

  • you can se clearly that is made up in a computer.

its so digital.i know the weel can go up but they cant like that. and the windows??

    making wind??? HAHA FAKE!!!!

  • For all the skeptics out there, check out snopes dot com-- search for "cog" or "honda commercial".

    it's all real.

  • "fake", "real" - people, come on, we're living in the 21st century. the former fake is the actual real. nice spot anyway, best regards from peter fischli and david weiss...

  • IT´S COMPLETELY REAL, I saw a doc about it on TV. But, anyway, it´s soo beautiful!!

  • is this real or fake cgi?

  • i guess you have to like cars to enjoy this commercial....its brilliant! and ofcourse its fake you tards....its a commercial about how they go for perfection...but like i said i suppose you have to appreciate cars to get it.

  • this was really boring and of course its animated so everyone get a LIFE

  • wow this was boring as shit

  • faka and gay

  • Real or Fake, it was boring! although the animation was good.

  • @y6ssi it was real not cg ppp u dont understand!

  • that was awsome

  • that was so fake

  • except the last thing with the car driving down this is real.. The tires had counter weights in them making!

  • i was on the set at that was filmed in real time

  • how the wheel can go uphill????

  • Once again, Honda defied the laws of physics. bravo

  • Ok, someone has to say it:

    ピタゴラスイッチ

    There you are.

  • I love the style. A great ad, and classy too.

  • What's the song?

  • Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight

  • [H]ad

    [O]ne

    [N]ever

    [D]id

    [A]gain

  • i dont care whether its fake or not!

    its simply awesome!

  • Of course the vid is fake....you can see that, but it is also very clever

  • That's a awesome ad. It really clever. Any body know y they banned it.

  • that was just amazing

  • woah this is the baddest commercial i've ever seen ! :D

  • Epic AWSOME!

  • This is an animation, right?

  • no its real.

  • a little long, but that was a good commercial!

  • Epic Rube Goldberg

  • Honda is awesome!!!!

  • all was made by car details))fun

  • LOL EPIC WIN

  • i love this animation simply fantastic! and great concept

  • its not an animation

  • oh yeah... my bad... those wheels can climb up in a 36 degrees upwards plank without any propultion but a falling radiator... how could i get worng that? try getting your physics book and search "gravity"

  • Emm yeh maybe that bit could be to do with weights motors I dont know, but what I do know is that it isn't an animation.

  • explain how your so sure, i mean apart from the fact that the images are pretty realistic

  • because

    1. I have watched the advert on a actual television screen which is a better quality than this, and it still looks absolutely real.

    2. I have read information on the making of the advert which says it took 4 whole days of filming, just filming not setting up, in total, to create 606 takes and only 70 - 80 shots of these were used just for 2 minutes of film. 3. They were told to use an absolute minimum of computer generated imagery, so they measured everything to a sixteenth of an inch..

  • to make it work beautifully, and because of that the people commissioned to piece it all together had no sleep and some even confessed to having nightmares about spare car parts.

    Thats how.

  • THATS AWESUM... i would like to have nightmares about that... and i have seen in tv too, still unconvinced ._.

  • Well at least you know. Still you can think what you want to think.

Didn't mean to get into this.

  • me neither... and the same to you...at least we didnt just insult ourselves... peace

  • Yeah man, good engineers can setup some amazing shit.

  • wow

  • thats got to be the longest hallway i have ever seen

  • P O W E R !!!

  • this is totally real because wheels can defy gravity

  • @Shorigun isnt it inertia that keep it going insted of defing gravity?

  • @Shorigun lol, then why cars dont fly ?

  • @Shorigun they're weighted wheels, good smarts.

  • @Shorigun this man is true, wheels really can go upper : )

  • @Shorigun Watch this and learn some =) watch?v=MjPAD1YSEoM

  • @Shorigun the wheels have weights in them

  • It is just g-e-n-i-o-u-s!

  • its all in 3D

  • 0:26 and 0:55 ... nooooooooo!

  • NICE!

  • It IS nice when things work.

  • like it but tottaly impossible :D

  • 0:26 physics fail.

  • theres weights inside the tyres

  • This video is not a fake. The only computery bit is in the middle where they had to combine two bits of film from two different camera rigs together (there's a slight overlap that needed fixing). I was the one who brought the world's attention to this ad. OK, I showed it to some guys on a website the first time it was aired on British TV and they had it as a download.

  • comment elle s apele la musique finale s.v.p.

  • deff saw this video for science class in 7th grade lol

  • whew..

honda didn't say this was true right ?

  • This is not a fake video. As far as kinetic energy, etc, arguments against it, you don't understand the theory if you take that side. The fact is there is all kinds of energy added throughout the sequence, whether thru electricity, potential energy, etc.

As to the wheels travelling up the ramp, that is quite easily done by attaching a substantial weight on the top of each wheel.

The background of this video can be found if you google

    "honda accord tv spot"

  • acctually it can the other tire transfers energy 2 the othe tire and it goes on...my science teacher told me

  • this took some 600 tries to get it all right. ...

  • DID ANYBODY KNOWW WHO DIRECTED THIS?

  • they say its 100% real took like 6 months to make 2million dollars hundreds of tries.. i dont know how true that is though

  • It couldn't be the truth, look at 0:27-0:29 ^^ ;-)

Die Reifen fahren die Rampe HOCH xD ähä^^ So viel zum Thema Schwerkraft.

  • uh... dude.. they have weights in the tires.. they hit it and the weigh drops to the bottem of the tire.. thats why it doesn't role back down.. its 100% real moron

  • good commercial but too long and a bit complicated

  • i don't understand how it keeps rolling after the window opens at 1:14.

  • it detects rain I guess and then moves into action

  • Comment removed

  • other than that....pretty cool! lol!

  • It isn't all real. You can see the next to last tire keep spinning at 0:28.

  • NICE ADD HORRIBLE CAR

  • wow

  • That's effort.

  • this shit is cool hahaha

  • my favourite ad

  • Incredible !!!!

  • no, the thing that is rolling down closes an electric circuit and so the window opens ;) you can see the wire

  • i get the tires going up, but not 1:11

  • maybe its just completing a circuit

  • You can see that there are 2 pieces of wood, not one. That one is a bit slanted.

  • I watched this in my physics class and my teacher said all of this is real. The tires have heavy weights in them that rotate the tires pulling them up hill.

  • BS at 0:25...

  • counter weights inside tires made the weight fall down thus "pulling" the tire up.

  • @aceryVN makes sense

  • i can see all of that happenining exept the tires rolling up hill

  • counter weights in the tires

  • i love this advert!!!

  • its a ruth goldberg system

  • faKE 0:24 is imposible ...

  • or maby who made that comercial was God and he change'd the gravity ... LOL

  • DA!!!

  • Actually... it could be possible. You would just need to balance something really heavy inside of the tire, and when its nudged, it falls off the center and pulls it like a yoyo sort of action. it IS possible. but personally i doubt they went to that length to do it in the video. The could though.

  • well no, if you look the tire was almost completely stopped. so even if there was something heavy in it, i doubt it would pull it up a slope.

  • to long for a commercial

  • FAAAAAAKE!!

  • No shit, sherlock.

  • WOW

  • My art teacher showed this to us. He called it a Rube Goldberg machine.

  • Gmod has rube goldberg too!

  • the speaker part looks computer animated.

  • good add, who ever made this up is clever

  • The tires are weighted, that's why it works. Think about it.

  • Awesome!

  • tire part couldnt hve happened by a that littloe push-so it has to be computer animated

  • it isnt

just because you dont know physics that doesnt mean its fake

  • Comment removed

  • at 0:28 the second tire slows down then speeds up. how is that real?

  • i thought it was real until 0:25 laws of physic would just pull it back not give it more momentum. this is really cool though. 5/5

  • thats no computer graphics

    you wonna bet 5$ ?

    you'll loose

  • there are wheights in them so the weights pull down and the tire rolls upwards

  • Omg i can't believe they actually did this! It seems so unreal!

  • hahah nice job

  • This is an incedible effort...and one of the best commercial ever..

    Cudos!

  • cool

  • they coudle have just drove the car forward...

  • the tire thing could work if it was hit a little bit harder

  • the only way i think the tire things could work in reality was if they were magnitized or theres somthing pulling them

  • they're actually weights in them.. dunno how they did it.. but apparently the product of 4 days of shooting 606 takes for the one perfect one... saw it on Fifth Gear.. amazing..

  • yeah thatll work too... BUT that would be fricken hard to balance the weights on that kind of angle, but then again, thats what the 606 takes are for right?

  • i think there are like little stairs (that you can barely see) on which the tires are standing on... if you know what i mean

  • lol thats canny funny loved it m8 :-)

  • nice!!

but all that just to close the car trunk.

  • its nice commercial, but this wouldnt work in real world physics!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • preety sure it would dude. The use of batteries makes it so it doesn't need a perfectly reversible and efficient environment. The only thing thats a bit off is the tires moving upwards but there has to be more there than meets the eye. They seem to be pulled by something
