@free2drm Charles & Diana's wedding was at St. Pauls Cathedral, which is much bigger than the Abbey. Their wedding was a "proper" state wedding too, as Charles is currently the official Heir to the Throne. Technically, William and Kates wedding was a private affair.

I watched Prince William & Kate's wedding on TV. It was nothing as compared to Diana's wedding in 1981. Everything was so plain that there's nothing much to see. The wedding dress was so simple and plain, the bride looked like any ordinary girl. Diana was very pretty and the wedding dress was unique. She has the charisma of being the People's Princess.
