Who is the imposter on the stage, its not Juliet roberts----same as the time in 85 when Haywoode sang on top of the pops covering the voice of Gwen Guthrie, the song was say yeah by the Limit, some Skinny girl singing a fat girl song, no way---check it on youtube
wow! thanks for this-seems to have become a forgotten record-cant seem to find it on cd anywhere-yet it was a pop top 10 hit over summer of 83! I had it on a Streetwave album-vocals supposed to be by Juliet Roberts, but that doesnt look like her!
Juliet Roberts (Plain 'Julie' back then) did the original demo vocals, but they released it without her permission, and got another singer to promote it while some legal wranglings were afoot. The song peaked at #3 if memory serves. This is NOT Juliet's vocal though...Hope that helps.
@RichardOrr I have a feeling the girl singing here (obviously live) is not the same person who sings on the actual record which could possibly be Roberts.

Extract from the James Hamilton "Discos" column in Record Mirror, 28th May 1983: "soulfully wailed and groaed by a Julie Roberts".
Julie Roberts is one and the same as Juliet Roberts, and the recording is the original.
