Do you really think that the spanish people were enough civilized when they were the worst part of the christian fanatics and only wanted gold at the price of genocide and rape? You have right to give your opinion but at least say something rational with good basis, friend...

  • He's an idiot, don't bother with him.

  • let's not forget that THE WHITE MAN will do anything to divide us, nunca olviden QUE EL HONBRE BLANCO SIGUE HACIENDO LO POSIBLE POR DIVIDIRNOS Y CREAR CONFUCION ENTRE NOSOTROS.

  • @99cacahuate

I'm a white guy, & I love indigenous Americans, and don't want to divide anyone.

    Peace & love.

  • @AidanMusik never said all white people are doing it, my wife is white and she is100% with our culture, when i see so many whites at places admiring our real heritage and interested on our culture, i see not all whites are racist, only the ignorants are, peace and love.

  • @99cacahuate

    Have a good day : )

  • @99cacahuate

"Don't judge a basket of apples because there's a few rotten ones"

Remember this. An Average White, black, Native American, Mestizos, Arabs, Semites, and East Asians have the same brain size and are capable of finding cures for cancer and aids.

Only the racist white, black, Native American, Mestizos, Arabs, Semites and east Asians have the small brains.

Peace to you from Germany (:

  • @99cacahuate Being ignorant doesnt make one per defination a racist in my opinion. Most people are simply to caught up in their own life.I am white and we have an interracial family.About 8 or 9 nationalities.I have interest in Chinese,Japanese,Native American and Aztec cultures just to name a few.I wish i had developed that interest sooner so i could perhaps live in 1 of the countries and learn more.Everyone has to make choices in the end.But yeh..a very interesting culture and i enjoy the music

  • Beautiful Aztec/Mexica music we shouldn't forget who we are or where we come from because we have a rich history spanning over 3,000 years from the Olmecs to the Mayans and Aztecs, to the Revolution and now us who decide where our destinies will take us

  • espanoles de mierda u.u

  • this is awesome, love the death flute!!!!

  • I love Aztecs more than Spaniards...

  • I am of Aztec Descent and watching this makes me think of the lost culture that was lost to the terrible crime that the Spaniards committed long ago. I love their names, Lazaro, Cuauhtli and Citlali Arvizu. And the woman in this video is simply beautiful.

  • @MoontouchedOwlBeast Right, because the Aztecs most definitely did not do the exact same thing to their own kind. To all the other tribes of Mexico.

  • @MyPixelArtist That was the Aztec religion. The Spanish went everywhere it was their plan. They had blue prints...

  • @MoontouchedOwlBeast "I am of Aztec Descent and watching this makes me think of the lost culture that was lost to the terrible crime that the Spaniards"

As much as abhor crimes made by ANY people. it really irritates me that native americans always play the innocent card. native americans killed and enslaved and destroyed their neighbors culture too; they'r no better.

in fact the aztecs were worse than the spanish, cutting the hearts out of live prisoners for their god

  • @dab0331 It seems like you have a very esterotipical view on the Mexica culture. All that stuff of cutting the hearts was a religious practice and was NOT a normal practice like movies make them to be. The Mexica NEVER destroyed the cultures that they conquered, in fact all the conqured nations where intergrated! they bacame part of the empire. Neither the spanish or the mexica where horrible, however i cant say the same about the english.

  • @sokozo the mexica so did impose thier culture on the conquered ppl. i hope u know that the vast majority of hte forces that invaded mexico city under cortes were not even spanish. they were other native americans.

  • @dab0331 The mexica culture was the same has the toltecs and other Mesoamerican cultures that they intergrated to their own, nahuatl was the lenguage that most of Mesoamerica spoke even up until the XIX century it was mostly spoken in Mexico. The capital Tenochtitlan was invaded mostly by tlaxcaltecs, the mexica rivals and other natives, the spanish where only around 500 men.

  • @sokozo so they speak the same language imposing conquest is conquest. and that was exactly my point. the other natives forces who made of the majority of the conquest HATED the aztecs becuz they were conquerors

  • @dab0331 hahaha sure and im sure that has time went on all the natives in general started hating the spanish because even though they didnt even made the conquests and was mostly done by natives the where the ones the spanish became viceroys, they became wealthy and the most important of the whole population, when they where really a minority.

  • Comment removed

  • @sokozo i'm not debating who won and why. I'm just stating that the aztecs were no better and have a history even darker than the spanish.

i say this becuz ppl always like to portray the native americans as the victims and as if they've never done anything horrible. what's done is done but ppl keep hanging on to ancient hatreds.

  • @dab0331 A darker history? you cant say that, neither had a darker history. Has time went on a hatred against the spanish grew too. Mexico and Peru have a very distinct history, other countries never had empires or urban socities and had wondering tribes that where killed almost to extinction, this is where the potrayal comes in.

  • @sokozo yes a darker history. when your culture revolves around drowning women, killing children and eating men that's fucked up.

the trives were decimated becuz they didn't give up. the indians in the US were a lot more hard headed than the mexican indians. the spanish were a lot better at integrating the natives into their society and that's why so many mexicans have native blood.

  • @dab0331 Its the other way around the natives intergrated to the spanish society, you have to remember that the spanish where only around 55,000 in all the 16th century and about 200,000 by the end of 17th century, the natives where about 1,800,000 in that same period. Has for the indians in the US i never heard of that.

  • @sokozo numbers don't matter. power does. modern mexican culture is much more reflective of spanish influence than native american.

come on now most indigenious looking mexicans only speak spanish.

  • @dab0331 The spanish lenguage and mestizo culture was forced against the natives in the second half of the 19th century and most of the 20th century. So really the spanish lenguage has been spoken by most mexicans only until very recently and becuase it was forced on the natives. During all the 16th-18th centuries and the first half of the 19th century the indigenous lenguages was what most people spoke in Mexico.

  • @sokozo i really doubt that. and there are many other influences besides language and religoin. clothing, architecture, rodeos, bullfights, etc, the food is heavily influenced by the old world becuz a lot of it didn't exist in pre-colombian american, horses, chickens, etc etc.

    the music and dance.

in fact german polka has a heavy influence on modern mexican music which originated in texas.

  • @dab0331 Chicken could be replace for turkey, como on bullfighting? its not like thats evryday activity. More like our food has influenced the whole world, tomatoes and corn alone have influenced alot, not to mention chocolate and vanilla.Clothing, we had/have our own clothing, modern day clothing is not a spanish invention, horses yes, they where an influense when no cars existed.

  • @sokozo the famous charro outfit is heavily reflective of the spanish.

no beef chicken or pork, tomatos, etc, means no tacos.

mariachi is also NOTHING like indian music.

i can go on and on.

  • @dab0331 Tacos are of native origin. Avocato and tomatoes, tortillas and salsa too, only in prehispanic times they where made with deer, fish, turkey or any other meat.

  • @dab0331 Theres is no such thing has "Mexican Music" because there are so many types of it, its not like theres only one type. I think this is gettting rediculios, no country in the world has not had influenced by others really. Most food in the world contains tomato which is native to Mexico, just like potatoes are now eated around the world when its native to Peru.

  • @sokozo there is too such thing as mexican music. now you're just playing favorites. try telling a mexican mariachi isn't mexican and you'll get slapped.

yeah and i messed up on the tomato part. meant to say lettuce.

  • @dab0331 Mariachi and corridos are mexican music just like any other indigenous mexican music is.

  • @sokozo exactly but mariachi and corridos is reflective of european influences. they are NOTHING like indian music.

    not even the same instruments.

  • @dab0331 Drums are also where/are used by native cultures and are also used in mariachi/corridos. Mariachi and corridos are only a PART of Mexican music, so really i dont know where your going with this.

  • @sokozo drums used in mariachi and corridos are not the same drums and are european influenced. and the point is to counter your argument that the only spanish influence is language and religion.

  • @dab0331 Thats not spanish influence when drums have already been used, and how are they not the same? are you comparing a drum from 500 years ago to a modern one? and i said (almost) nothing alse is of spanish influence, so there was space for more, never did i said only religion & lenguage. But your now bringing European influences not just spanish ones.

  • @sokozo again the drums used in corridos are european influenced and those types of drums such as snare drums are nothing like native american drums made of wood and cloth.

european/spanish... same difference. its not native american is what i'm saying. and the spanish were the prime european influence in mexico, duh.

  • @dab0331 Also you listed the horse has food. Did they eat horse back then in Europe?

  • @dab0331 There is mexican pop ,rock, rap,etc music and they are all mexican music because they are sang and made by mexican singers. Its not like ONLY mariachi is mexican music.

  • @sokozo yeah but some are more mexican than others. rock is american influenced by the negros.

mariachi is the heart and soul of mexican music and culture.

  • @dab0331 Well if you say so. All countries in the world use many different instrumentals that are not native to their countries so really who cares.

  • Comment removed

  • @dab0331 Yes a guess your right but the music your hearing in this video is just has mexican if not more.

  • @sokozo agreed

  • some music crosses internatinoal boarders such as rock or hip hop. but others are strictly cultural. u're not gonna pass off mariachi as japanese or flamenco as irish.

and cultural mexican music such as mariachi song and dance is mostly spanish/european influence.

  • @dab0331 A side form the lenguage and religion (which i dont consider my religion) almost nothing else is of spanish influence.

  • Comment removed

  • integration is not liberation.

  • cool natives ! :)

  • proud to be aztec...........^^

  • @mellyvel1 You're not an aztec, you're not even a mexican, you're a chicano, pocho or wetback... to be aztec was a privilege.

  • @lalungenuictdestens tu eres un idiota.porque no serias el hocico.estudia tu herencia y lego escribe aqui.Yo soy Xicano sabes?Nican tlaca.

  • It brings me tears of joy everytime I hear Aztec music. I'm proud to be of Aztec desent!

  • @MilanKings80 the subname AZTEC was invented by europeans, we are mexica (meh-she-kah)

  • do u guys HONESTLY beleive these are aztecs? there kind was destroyed and only a few remain they wouldnt get to thisd time and knowing there own heritage, this is fake stuff

  • @mythologian1 we Mexicans are Aztecs if you have any doudts come and visit my country

  • @GrandezaAzteca You know that AZTEC is a name made up by some europeans in the 1800's? MEXICA is the true name of our ancestors, that why we're called Mexicans. Look it up if you want. Even the Spanish never called us aztecs, they called us mexicano. Mexica is Nahuatl for Mexican.

  • @proudmexican93 you are correct Aztec means person of Aztlan. When the Aztecs left Aztlan in search of their destined homeland where they saw an eagle eating a snake is where they would build Mēxihco-Tenōchtitlān they then called their selfs Mexica.

  • @proudmexican93 what i really hate and get sickend is how many ignorant people try to steal our culture/race you always be proud and tell them who you really are we are the original inhabitants of this continent and no one should take that from us! we are not hispanics nor latinos nor mestizos we are INDIGINOUS PEOPLE!

  • @GrandezaAzteca where does the indigena word comes from, I'm shure I'm wrigt on this one yeah there we go... India Indigeno as in lives is born in India, so I'm as simple as an Aztec because I was born in Tenochtitlan so it mekes me a Mexican, where you're born Mr GrandezaAzteca I take it from India Indigena is a spanish word so might you be from Spain ??

  • @santisimos migh black people be from england they have english names? it clarly says in your profile that your from the UK. Anyway Indigena,Amerindian,American Aboriginal,Native American can all be aplied to the original inhabintants of this continent has of all ethnic groups(Mexica,Maya,Inca, etc)

  • @santisimos language does not always define someones race/culture im a proud Mexica/Mexican i was born in Mexico.

  • @GrandezaAzteca as soon you forget about callin people ignorant again I recon you will be ok, just coz you called you're self Indigena I don't think you're parents went from Asia India to hive born to you, if that hapend they you are more than welcome to be An Aztec Mexican, Mexicano, too or Chilango o como usted crea sea correcto :) also Indegenas comes from agricultor on those days and still we had the top technology level UK copy it and still not as Aztecs were so efficient as Aztecs were

  • @santisimos Us Natives or Indigenous peoples of the Americas are not Asian.that bering strait idea is just a theory but it seems that many people take it has a fact. There are many artifacts that have been found in North & South America that predate and disprove the bering strait theory. For example one artifact that was found in Hueyatlaco, México that dates some 200,000 years but many evolutionist cover it and dont talk about it.

  • @sokozo "Us Natives or Indigenous peoples of the Americas are not Asian.that bering strait idea is just a theory"

no its fact trhough genetic DNA and linguistic comparisons.

  • @dab0331 No one is really native to their continent going by your logic. Europeans are not native to Europe and Asians are not native to Asia, everyone started in Africa. We american natives might be closer to asians then others but it dosent make us identical, Europeans are most likely the closest to Africans yet you dont always hear that europeans are african

  • Comment removed

  • in fact the sacrifices were originally done on their own people. but they needed so many sacrifices that that is why there were in nearly perpetual warfare with their neighbors to supply the bodies for the yearly ritual.

  • europeans are not the closest to africans its' the arabs and other middle easterners. But thats besides the point. u stated that the native americans werent immediate descendants of asians which is not true.

  • @santisimos something people have to start learning is that the word Aztec is unaceptable we are MEXICAS! not even the Spaniards called us Aztecs they called us Mexicanos = Mexicans! ever wondered why our country is called MEXICO and not Aztlan=Aztec.the Aztec word is not even 200 years old!

  • @sokozo I do agree with what you saying, people can call us what they want, even us and they won't know where come from who knows ??

as soon it is clear Cristobal Colon got lost and they thought they were in India and coz they call us Indians lol that it is just funny I'll say or what about Nativeamerican Indian ??? what is that I supouse ther are lots of Asian families who emigrated to USA and their families will be yeah Native American Indians they are, nothing to do with redskins or us :)

  • @mythologian1 See my comment above

  • This troupe is SO talented! I bought the video about ten years ago and have used it with my students in Primary grades, they LOVE it!!! Exceptional quality recording on stage with lights and well worth the money! Thanks for posting, they are my friends! More love!

  • de lujo mexicas///// me hicieon viajar con este tema de musica azteca...... los sonidos de la naturaleza se hicieron presente.. y esa flauta tan especial wow

  • what have they done to our music we had very awesome music

  • what type of flute is that 1:42

  • @LaRezNar that kind of flute is an aztec style (there many styles of aztecs flutes) i dont remember the name but some of them just have 3 holes, or 4 hole so you just need to use one hand to play it........

  • Where was this filmed at?

  • @Tarquinus88 this was filmed at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California.

  • @cavedracones wow gay

  • @cavedracones do they have it every year??? Ahm's not too far...

  • @papirosas8509 I haven't been back there in a few years. I'm not sure if they're still putting on these events.

  • @cavedracones Yeah, they're still doing these. Was there last month and still going strong. They mix it up between the Aztec dancers and Native American dancers, it just depends on what day you go.

  • This is amazingly beautiful!
