  • nice review this has made my decision to get it. something thats affordable, and compact is what i need for my old amd athlon gaming rig

  • @footlockerjl32 did you buy it already? are the temps ok ?

  • @Pandasareawesomex Well installed my gaming rig i did around 2003 temps seem to be warm. But otherwise nice for tight spaces

  • Will this PSU support the XFX Radeon HD6790?

  • Thinking about getting this for a HTPC build. Just wish I could remove that Cooler Master Logo.

  • Thanks for the review of this case!

  • It's one of the best cases for its price.

  • nice review

  • love your videos rodney

  • This does not look like a good case. Those sticky feet is very cheaply and poorly designed.

  • damn nice case, if you ask me

  • It reminds me of the FAT PS3.

  • Lmfao @ Debacl3.. schooled

  • anyone know if an xfx 6850 will fit? it's 9.25" x 4.4" x 1.5"

  • @alldaygamer i doubt it, i have the card, same brand, and it sticks out past the motherboard, which is about all the room you have for a card with this case. if you want a powerful card, presumably for gaming, do yourself a favor and get a big case. more room to work with, helps alot for future upgrades.

  • LOL @ the 3V rail... 3.09V = FAIL

  • <<THis is shit, motherboard tray is not removable!!!!!!!!!!

  • Will i be able to put in atx moderboard, with Corsair H50 Push and pull? with a graphic card Nvidia Geforce 460

  • Will i be able to put in atx moderboard, with Corsair H50 Push and pull?

  • Would this case fit a 5770?

  • I learned a word today, so thank you for that

  • Can i install a mini-itx motherboard in this case?

  • I liked the parts where the fans were spinning.

  • 2:58-> there should have been a "PING' sound effect here:P

  • @KillmeWhenIcumBabe

    Thats also my question!

  • can I fit my Corshair H50

I really like the case and my cooler and dont wanna use my air one

  • There's quite a bit of room, when seen in-person. The room inside is better than in most of the other DeskTop cases I've seen.

  • 2:59 teleporting psu i want one of those

  • Whats better, Silent PRO M500 or Silverstone ST50F-230?

  • lol u forgot the fire wire port haha

  • Does the PSU come with a 6 pin PCI-E connector?

I'm looking to get a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 and the specs say I need a 450w (Or higher) PSU with a 6 pin PCI-E connector.

  • How many hard drives can you put in this case?

  • I don't like how the front bezel covers the PSU.

  • Very nice review. One question though: are there any issues with dvd/cd drive loading/operation when in the tower configuration (where the drive would be oriented on its side)?

  • Great review, very professionaly made and nice HQ video.

I would say that it could be improve if you speak a little bit slower.

English is not my first language and I had to watch the video twice to understand all the meaning.

I ordered the case and will receive it soon, I am a little bit concern about not having a cooling fan for the hard drive, If I find a way to go around it I will post it here.

Thank you again for your great review.

    Alex.

  • no fan for HDD :(

  • that cooler master logo is SICK !!

  • check out my web page icon-- also its my background on my computer

  • Love this case, just build mine with this case...good airflow case and quite good as well for cable management. Using modular PSU would be a great help for this case especially when there is only little gap after installing the GPU :-))

  • Would this support -

    Intel Core 2 Quad

    ATI 5770 Vapor-X CrossfireX

    1TB SATA Hard Drive

    nVidia nForce 690i

  • Nah, not Wodney.

    He looks like Kenneth Branagh.

From Shackleton. Just after he had walked across South Georgia.

  • Orient-a-ted? Hehe.

  • i used this with an antec veris elite vfd display & remote for use as a HTPC. Very good case and cheap. and if used with the veris makes a great Media Centre Pc

  • would the hx 750w fit in this or am i pushing it ? 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 180mm(L)

  • fanks for dat Wodney

  • would i get the Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular into this case ? someone reply ?

  • its 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 150mm(L)

  • sorry im stupid of course i can anyway good review thanks 3DGAMEMAN for another great review .

  • I just threw an Asus P5W DH in one of these cases. It's a fun little case. I put in a 400W Corsair psu but would deffo advise a modular unit.. Snazzy wire management is obtained by leaving the wires out of the case because a full psu makes things real tight.

  • I just got this case yesterday for a client htpc build. I was really impressed, especially since I got it for $25. They could definitely get away with charging $60 for this case.

  • i have this case! i use 8800GT (full size hard cover) and my psu is coolermaster real power pro 650w (80plus), cpu cooler is coolermaster geminii S. i love coolermaster! ps. i had 8800gt sli in this case (installed all the 80mm fans) but was too loud for my liking so took them out. now its silent with 1 8800gt ^^ thing is this is is small... but at the same time big... all i can say

  • I have this case for my HTPC and it does a great job. I just managed to cram in a 9600gt.

  • thats new psu in front of a case O.O

  • Hi, my PSU is 150mm x 150mm x 86 mm.

i use a gainward hd4870 gs which ist 240mm long. can somebody tell, if the psu and the video card wil fit together in the elite 360?

    thx!

  • does it fit a 8800gts video card?

  • sould do

  • nice review, ive got the 500w extreme power psu from cooler master

  • Can you fit a X1950 Pro inside this case? its around 9 inches long

  • prob

  • If anybody has questions in regards to this case, send them my way by posting here. Soon I'll upload a vid of my rig (Which is my fav budget rig thus far and I've built heaps).

    Enjoy.

  • hay, im looking to buy a desktop (laying down) case, i hav a standard atx motherboard, an sapphire 4870 but i not sure what size my psu is, standard or extended (its an antec quattro 1000w. i hav my eye on one of the cases u reviewed, the coolermaster elite 360 ( the one with the psu at the front) and want to know ifmy psu will fit in it with no problems. would u be able to help me figure this out plz. thx in advance, Jarrad

  • There's no way a 4870 will fit in this case mate, I kid you not. I have the case in front of and I promise you that a 4870 will come in contact with the PSU. Fastest card I recommend for this case is the 4770 due to its specifications. 9800GT, GTX, 250,260 etc, 4850 (Maybe if you have compact PSU which is modular), 4870, 4890 will not fit due to the limited space between the PCI-e alllocated area and PSU (Mainly output cables).

  • Will I be able to put a Coolermaster 212 and HIS HD4850 IceQ 512Mb in there?

  • Yes you can.

  • No you will not be able to fit a 4850 due to the length of the card and it coming in contact with the output cables from the PSU. You will be able to fit the 4770 considering it's shorter however you'll require good cable management skills or alternatively you can go with a modular PSU to be safe.

  • Really, it can't even fit an HD4850? That really stinks.

  • i own this case and it sucks,,, cable management options are terrible. it is sturdy though.

  • Comment removed

  • is it a good idea to have to have gtx 260 in this case

i want to do it for my 2nd rig

  • if your going to get a gtx 260..why would you get this mini case? go with the CM Storm Scout or the Centurion 5 - 590 series.......

  • I'm also curious if it can fit a 10.5" graphics card like the GTX 260.

  • GTX260 is too long for this case.

  • I had a feeling it was. But how are you sure?

I'm guessing a 10.5" long graphics card won't fit because of the power supply in the case? What is the longest graphics card it could fit?

I know this case wasn't designed for high-end gaming, but I really did like its compact size without being Micro-ATX. : (

  • OK, so 24cm is mATX right. the edge of the board is nearly in contact with my PSU (Corsair C400X). Now, considering it's 24cm and the GTX260 is from memory 26.7cm there's absolutely no way this card will fit, unless you cut a block out of your PSU 3cm in length. So IMHO I seriously recommend the 4770 since it's only 20cm long but still, you will need incredible cable management skills in order to fit the card. That said, it will fit and I love this case; compact, black and includes a 120mm fan.

  • Also it's cheap man, and Cooler Master. When everything is installed it looks great inside, has 7 expansion slots, 2 USB, firewire jack (Locked but you can install one if you like by pushing out the punch and simple screwing one in). In addition, the roof fan is really qiet (Which is 10 bucks on its own while the case is only $39USA, $50AUD). Includes awesome rubber feet which gets ride of near all vibration, hidden cable management, 2/2 5 5/1/4, 3/1/5 bays (1 hidden), and again, $39.00US? :P

  • this case sucks.. yeah i know the Power supply will draw cool air from the side panel mesh.. but where will the heat from the exhaust of the power supply go??.. it will be trapped and sucked in by the case fans ... it will create a higher temperature inside the case...

  • it will go to the cooling bezels in front...

  • i hate where the Power supply is mounted, i think it would make cable management difficult. Modular design helps i guess.

  • i searched some info about this case and here's some information that isnt given in the review that you might find useful:

    1- the case is pretty sturdy. you can place your monitor on top of it without fear of bending the side panel;

2- max gpu size is 9 inches (22,9cm), so you'll fit a standard sized GTS 250 or a HD4850 in there, SLI and Crossfire is possible. bigger gpus like HD4870 and GTX's wont fit.

dont forget that you should use a standard sized atx psu with this case, or the gpu wont fit

  • can someone tell my if this case will make great for a lan party pc?

  • I really don't understand how you fit a Sunbeam Core Contact in there. The Core Contact is 15.5cm tall and the Cooler Master 360 only have 5.8" of clearance. After conversion that means that the Cooler Master Case is 14.73cm wide and the Sunbeam Core Contact is 15.5cmTall. How is this possible?

Someone please help me with this mathmatical dilemma.

  • buy a thermaltake TR2-R1 Pretty decent Cooler but not made for gaming

  • I must have about 57 of these at my house, they're practically the only thing I pay my wages on. I am looking to be a few more pretty soon.

    Good video, *****

  • im thinking about buying this case, but i need to be sure of what size of graphic cards fit inside, since the size of the psu influences the allowed size of graphic cards. can someone tell me the max size a graphic card can have to fit in the case (with a silent pro m500 psu installed for example)?

  • i have test similar case design like this. exactly front PSU likat that. when installed, the PSU block my HIS radeon 3870 , also radeon 1950pro. I had to disassambled the PSU to fit the graphic card. i like hi- machine in small cases.. but now my gtx 260 is huge- i cant find other small

  • I think you need to dim the lighting a bit, its hard to see some of the components since it is so bright...

  • your a robot....

  • Great Review! I really like the case & PSU.

  • Nice review. I did purchase the Smilodon case based on your review. I believe my entire PC build was based on your reviews mostly. All but the MSI K9a2 Platinum Motherboard. I have found no reviews on it. But i really wanted it for the upgradability, and features. Thanks for the great videos.

  • damn that's one quite PSU!!

  • When the Power Supply is in that position, won't the fan on it be blowing against the side door?

  • orientated, hahaha. i love how entertaining your reviews are.

  • Definition of orientated:

adj.1.Adjusted or aligned to surroundings or circumstances; sometimes used in combination; as, to get oriented on one's first day at a new job.

2.headed or intending to head in a certain direction; as, college-oriented students. Opposite of unoriented.

  • it just sounds funny. not too often you hear that word in the past tense. in addition to entertainment value, i do find your reviews useful.

  • that pulling at the bottom looked not as easy as it was said to be.

  • the case was not to bad... loved the flip design, and the ATX support but with so much ventilation holes and no dust filters it would not work for me...

the psu looked good, but 3,3V seems a bit low...

  • lmao @ Sunbeam Core contact freezer cooler...can't imagine it in that case.

    Can I get pictures?

  • I'm liking the case design. Pretty nice, I might look at it for a new build.

  • i know this isnt about this case but im wondering if and when you will review the 4890, also what is your opinion about the company XFX i liek there lifetime warranty. thanks in advance

  • Yes, I hope to review the 4890 video card. XFX is a fine company, but also consider EVGA.

  • badass...you resond to fan

    thats 110% kick ass supports

  • @3DGAMEMAN evga makes ati cards? lol?

  • windows 7 beta? lool sweet

  • where did you get the pencil?

  • Hmm i did not know that he was useing a low end E5200... i have it and running it on 3.5 Ghz and plays GTA iv very good!

I want that Case! Cooler master is best!

  • This is for my HTPC setup, my gaming setup is a beast!

  • Lol what's that then? Specs please =]

  • Please visit RodsRig . com

  • Wow....i hate you lol :(

Why don't you start giving out some prizes? (just a suggestion)

  • Well....he had like about 40-50 giveaways already :/

  • Oh ok lol sorry only watched a couple videos of his

  • Latest giveaway: Giveaway 45: Zalman 9900 Cooler, ZM-750HP 750W PSU & GS1000 Case

  • What's the plot for all these giveaways?

  • 4 thumb screws!

  • very ugly looking case

  • Nice Yellow Pencil.

  • nice design with the psu but look ugly...

  • wow that power supply fan is quiet

  • pretty ugly case, looks like CM been slacking of on appearence especially for a mATX case, they're normally the more stylish (less practical) case.

  • This is a good case for its price.

  • Sorry guys, but Antec 1200 with dustfilter ftw

  • Thats nice! Great review

  • video review.

  • meh I like my Cooler Master HAF 932

  • Guardian 921 FTW

  • chyea! that's the one I got!!

  • its the coolest case EVER!!!!!

  • TEMPEST FTW 8D

  • I cant hear the power supply fan is DANM GOOD FAN

  • omg the logo rotation is a great market idea ! btw flat cables at psu r a good shot for cm

  • nice psu, the case is kind of a wierd design, nice vid rodney

  • Burn*

  • My pc can bust, becorse that shit holes on psu.

  • what background music is that when you start the 'Results...' display? i love that.

  • All music I created using MAGIX Music Maker.

  • Im not so sure I like the case, but I have the Silent Pro M600 PSU, it is very good and very quiet

  • your white balance is fucked up in this video

  • Ventilation holes = dust = annoying

  • Too much ventalation holes.

  • and no dust filters :(

  • so that powersupply is dose not come with that case

  • No, this PSU does not come with the case.

  • would the 500watt be good for Core I7 and Newest ATI Video Card .Nothing over clocked but stock Clocked

  • I'd recommend at least 650w PSU with 80+ efficiency for Core i7 (they need very clean power to work).

  • Ok the reason why was asking

i might build a Computer in Future

    for HD Video Editing.

And Intel Recommend a Core i7

  • get 550 if u can. 500w could do it.

  • shit case

  • ROdey your camera focus was off on this vid or my eyes were fuzzy lol.

Nice review and quite differant. Alot of people are complaining but i think its quite effective space usage. But at the same time its not a gamers comp but its was never designed for that it was desgined for someone with space issue and orientation issues.

Anyway good case in its own right.

  • SIgned!

  • Hmm?

  • IT HAS THE MUSCLE, TO PULL THIS FULLY LOADED 2,500 POUND! THAT IS ALMOST ONE TON! (Mighty Putty)

  • a ton is 2000 pounds

  • i love rails

  • 3:20 lol

  • Case is disaster, psu is great

  • you must be very patient to explain what is a rail on each PSU review =)

  • Maybe he has a sound file, so that he doesn't need to do it on every video.

  • i'v always thought that

  • GameMan is pimpin with the multi-monitor setup

  • cool, two reviews in one video.

  • Are they retarded? 1. PSU in front and cord needs to run to rear, 2. if oriented horizontally guess where the monitor is going? right blocking the fan holes including the one for the PSU.., 3. firewire outline but no firewire port.. They must of fired the engineers and hired some kids for cheap money to pull through economy crysis.. LoL

  • This looks good for a LAN pc!

  • Is the 3.3 v rail pumping out good voltage?

  • I know it's meant for budget systems, but I don't like the upgrade path that this case provides. with the PSU placed directly across from the expansion slots there ain't much room to upgrade the PSU to a longer, more powerful unit when your graphics cards are in the way

  • That power supply goes in weird how it's in the front like that.

  • Before anyone comments, YouTube hasn't processed the HD version of the video yet. Should be soon though because I uploaded it an hour ago!

  • People should have learned by now that HD takes forever to process but some people forget or are stupid and just want to troll :D

  • exactly

  • People are way too impatient......... It's up in HD now and it says your comment was only posted 1 hour ago.

  • Youtube needs to fix that shit.

  • i like the way where the atx power supply sits in the case also id flip the fan so it can blow up

  • i think my school bought some new computers with that case

  • I highly doubt it, they wouldn't spend their money on high end cases during a market crysis like now.

  • crysis? :D

  • using this as an HTPC

  • Weird case... in a good way. Seems great if you're building a small computer.

  • would be cool to use it for a passively cooled media pc! =D
