Finally a Fanatec wheel specifically designed for Forza! Crossing my fingers and hoping the retail price wont go through the roof! Porsche 911 GT2 wheel anyone? Price of that thing is just insane!... and that's just the wheel on its own!!!

the only thing i dont like about forza 4 is that stupid kinect thing. you may look like your actually racing but there are no physics to it like the force feedback that the gaming chairs have . your arms are just gonna start hurting after 1 or 2 races. other than that this game just about perfect

@Maturegamer123 Actually GT5 has only 200+ cars while Forza has 500+ and you obviously haven't seen the GT5 vs Forza 4 video. Forza 4 looks MUCH MUCH better there. Also Forza has better physics. You never played Forza so you can't say anything.

I have played Gran Turismo since its inception and I find myself always going back to Forza 3. GT5 may have some benefits over Forza, but it certainly isn't the way the cars handle and sound, which is very important to me. Forza 4 will be better than its predecessor, especially in the graphics department, and will have the ability to look around (Kinect) instead of having tunnel vision. GT5 just doesn't do it for me. FWIW, I have GT5 as well.

-Forza 4- 500 cars + DLC. All at the same detail of GT5's premium, if not more detailed.

-Its not arcadey, SRT (insidesimracing) stated it has the best physics and tire modeling.

-Stable framerate at 60fps unlike gt5 where it dips really low when there is smoke or weather.

-GT5 has sub-par graphics, badly pixelated smoke, blocky shadows and ps2 era standard cars.

Im not a forza fanboy, im lvl 37 aspec and lvl 40 bspec. Just defending from fanboys like you.

Forza and Gran turismo are listed as "Arcadey sims" by pretty much every car reviewer. You want a real sim, get iRacing or Rfactor.

Forza 3 had stable framerate, it's only logical to think this will as well. Not to mentioned it has been stated before.

But if that's some sort self deluding satisfaction then sure, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Also (and i dont know why everyone thinks this) but the standard cars actualy look way better than gt4 cars, so i wouldnt say they are ps2 era. i think forza 4 looks fantastic im just saying

PD made the premiums look so good in comparison with the standards to future proof for the next GT.

gt5 and bf3 are more realistic and advanced/complex

mw3 and forza4 are more arcade / simple

i like mw3 more but for racing i dont want a simple game i like a more advanced racer

@MrIPhonemaniac first of all, you have a pic of a ps3 as your username picture so that kind of tells me what you favor but nonetheless I'll reply.

It's can't be either "realistic sim racer or arcade type game" because neither Forza 4 nor GT5 fit in either category. GT5 and F4 are not as realistic as iRacing/PC sims nor is it arcadey as games like Blur, NfS, etc. So they're more along the lines of "Arcadey sims".

Now, which is more realistic? I'd wait for SRT to compare these two.

gt5 actually is a pretty close to / exact racer sim, f4 is not realistic at all,

bottom line, r4 was aiming for a arcady game and gt5 is more towards sim racing

weather they reached the goal or not that was they're goals

some ppl like arcade, some prefer sim

GT5 is closer to realism, however that's not to say F4 is arcade when compared to gt5. F4 is pretty much up there with GT5. The problem with F4 is that it only focused on the tire modeling, it excelled in that area and has the best tire modeling on consoles but GT5 focused on weight distribution,suspension modeling, etc and is closer to real than F4.

I'd call both Arcadey sims from a PC stand point.

people have different preferences, while I prefer a more realistic game you might prefer the more arcade type game,

i guess i just like to have the feeling of driving a real car when I use a wheel, i don't play competitive i just play to drift and with that mindset gt5 has better physics and realism

While GT is more serious, but it's just the tone, not the physics, since even Forza 3 takes more calculations than GT5 lol, but Kaz being a race car driver really helped GT grasp the feel of a car.
