Nuno is a BEAST and does it all. My personal favorites of his are Last Hour off of Saudades De Rock and Lil Jack Horny from Pornograffitti. Randy is really, really good but Nuno holds his own against anyone.

Lots of people are criticizing Nuno because he didn't get it down exactly and even struggled in a couple of parts. Fact is, when you get to the talent level of Nuno and put out your own music you spend very little time if any playing covers. Alot of professional musicians don't even have a clue and never played covers. Nikki Sixx comes to mind. Be careful when critiquing a pro's playing because much of the time they aren't sitting around like us trying to learn & play other people's stuff.

I sold it for what I paid for it for some reason... sunnyjim, you are silly if you put down this guitar. It sells for about $1000 now, and it was the Sears model of the Danelectro. That's the guitar that Jimmy Page played White Summer/Black Mountain Side and Kashmir on if you didn't know.

Well yeah I agree with you in that they are both great, the think is that I don't like Nuno's attitude, I remember back in 1991 when I went to see Winger and Extreme in concert and Nuno just jelled at the public telling everybody to "Fuck off" not even the band got well along with him, that is why the band finally came to an end.

That's not why they ended at all. If there was ever a humble guitarist in this world then it's Nuno. As far as I remember the split was due to Gary swinging more and more towards his evangelical pursuits. But they are back together now, so let's see how they all cope with Nuno's "attitude" better in 2009 than they (according to you) did in 1991.

@Burkefolk - as far as classical pieces are concerned, this is as simple as it gets sorry dude. It's a beautiful piece and deserves respect, but it's incredibly easy to play. The only reason this guy doesnt nail it, is he's either making it up as he go's along, or has not played it for decades.

And no two guitarists are going to play any piece exactly the same way. So he doesn't "nail" it because he's most likely not trying to play it exactly as Randy did. That would be like criticizing some other guitarist for not playing "Midnight Express" or "Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee" exactly like Nuno. They can't. They're not Nuno.
