  • i live in norway, and those are just amazing! its a much better weapon than the older hk g3 when i shoot with this it was lightweight, easy to control/low recoil and i could hold many more rounds with me, compared to the AG3!

  • my kingdom for that stock...or that rifle. Are they going to release this as a civilian legal SBR or is it only Law/Mil?

  • I now found the gun I want. Buwahaha

  • Good Looking gun , I don't Know why they design this fire arm to need a tool to switch gas settings , where as the rest of the gun companies don't use one. Just another thing to get lost.

  • That is beautiful

  • Man, that's one sexy looking gun. I'm liking the butt stock especially.

  • Just to correct the Hk-rep on one count:

We norwegians use the 16.5 inch version of the hk416. My experience with the ironsights:

to put it plainly, I'd rather have the hk drumsights. The rear sight featured here isn't all that great IMHO, they're not very precise and the quickrelease makes it prone to falling off if bumped against something like trees, brush, rocks etc.(things you find in the field).

  • Badass

  • Will these be hitting the civi market?

  • If you mount a supressor you can just remove the gasblock flip up sight, and then mount another rear flipup sight on the front of the RIS and lift and flip the "peep-hole" sight 90 degrees to make it into a front sight.

  • What is with HK and having so many little tools stowed away in stocks to make adjustments. First they have a tool for a set screw on the stock of their556(or was it the 416) and now this when every other manufacturer has a hand adjustable knob or lever for the gas system. Apparently they also never bothered to realize why everyone else folds the BUIS back into the rail and not forward onto the flash hider... wtf are they thinking.

  • Mounting the folding front sight so it sits flush on the flash hider might not be the wisest of ideas. I can imagine someone reaching down to flip that sucker up, and getting a nice handful of scalded flesh...

  • @Hiluxtaco Appears to cause a suppressor mounting issue as well, but likely is a nice low profile setup for most usage.

  • @milspecmonkey Mounting it up on the front of the (top) rail would alleviate all those concerns...

  • @milspecmonkey

You can take it off and get other iron sight, wich i recomend.

  • @milspecmonkey the front sight would be better if it was flush with the rail, not the flash hider. And the gas block should be adjustable with a toggle, or switch of some sort instead of a tool to increase simplicity. And it would be nice if the but pad was a bit bigger

  • @milspecmonkey yeah you can't mount a suppressor without having it folded up.

  • @Hiluxtaco

I personally would like to see more companies taking KAC's URX route, with the BUIS mounted directly in the rail. I'm all for a longer sight radius, but something this compact isn't going to be used to pick people off at 600 meters if/when the main optic goes down anyway. Having the BUIS laying basically against the barrel and flash hider is ridiculous.

  • @Hiluxtaco The Front Sight is removable you know..

  • FREAKIN SWEET! I would've loved to see him shoulder the weapon to see where the cheek goes on that buffer tube though.

  • I love h&k but my wallet doesn't !

  • Man you're were a busy person during SHOT! Thanks for all the videos!
