I live near DC and find that most problems that gay men have (here) are due to the way that they mistreat one another-not a result of homophobia from the outside. There's constant talk about a "gay community", but in reality, what we've got is a "gay hierarchy", with men stepping over each other to get a boyfriend who's physically beautiful, young, well-endowed, good in bed, etc.. Many men are at the bottom of that pyramid, and even those who aren't lose their position eventually.

Good vid. Thanks. If you have not watched much of Ugly Betty, you should take a look at some of the YT vids featuring Justin (and his 'mentor' Marc). The coming out episode was right near the end of the 4th and final year, but Justin's story over the whole 4 years was amazing and, in many ways, groundbreaking.

@trisshandy If you haven't seen the original then you should watch it too on youtube, it will make you forget any other version you have seen, it happened to me and many others, except that I love Justin and Austin, I wish they were in the original, but the original one is still way more entertaining than the american one, somedays I didn't even sleep and I'm not the only one.

@Francisco2007 The original ugly betty titled Yo Soy Betty, La Fea is by far the best and most successful of all the Betty versions, but I have to admit that Justin and Austin was something I loved about the US version that didn't exist in the original version, I bet if it existed in the original version, Betty's Mother who is alive in the original, would love him and appreciate him as much as Hilda, Hilda was also a new character in the US version, she didn't exist in the original one either.
