  • are those the studio speakers?

  • There is one word. "QUALITY". Those are some nice sets and NICE reel machine!

  • watch?v=10ZogB8PZPE

  • Not too interesting for me, sorry :).

I used to have that mixer and I still have a MDS-JE510 ;D

  • Haha, setup is a large word.

I just bought this stuff and put it on my table. It's not my regular setup (that includes tannoy speakers and a Proton Amplifier). IT's a neat little receiver. I'm listening to these Yamaha's right now. Wonderful speakers :)

  • Wow I have that same amp setup with a pair of B&W bookshelf speakers. Do you thinks that amp would ruin that set of speakers if I ran it at full power? Not full volume. Thanks

  • Depends on the speakers. Usually you could say that, as long as the amplifier has a little more power than the speakers, it should be allright. Never use an underpowered amplifier. It generates high frequency peak tones as soon as it clips. These tones will ruin your speakers and you might not even hear it's clipping in the first place!

  • The speakers are rated for a 20 to 120 watt amplifier. So would you say it has a little more power than the speakers?

  • now thats a stereo bigface would run hios mouth if he saw that

  • Wow, Beautiful setup! Good to see I'm not the only one that still appreciates silver and big knobs. 8D

  • thats a nice yamaha vintage system, congrats!
