@SaganNotPagan you didn't hear the man, he said he was not looking deep inside, or outside, he had all the answers, he knew there was no God, and no need for God. It was at this point, when God brought Randall to see his need for him, by showing him that the so called natural explanation was flawed, and that there was hope beyond science and medicine. I have yet to see anything in nature, in science or in logic that excludes the possibility of God, in fact, I find I CAN NOT exclude His existence

given that its a theoretical possibility that there could be a God, how can he claim that Christianity is the answer? If he was born in India he would be hindu, and Israel, jewish, etc. And rightly so. But there's only one answer. So is God unjust and he only wants those who won the religion lottery to get into heaven? If he's just then he would allow anyone who acts decent to get into heaven. So why does it matter what you believe in? Either that or he's not just and what's the point?

The secret is to begin to question...If you already have your mind made up then there is no need for answers, you stop asking, you stop learning. And that goes for anything

It has nothing to do with being "brainwashed as a child"(In his case anyway) He already said he got lame answers from the church to the logical questions he had, they just kept telling him "faith" He went on his own journey and this is what he found.

there is a lot science can explain but still there are questions. i tried to answer every question i asked mysel but the more are asked an aswered the more i got too the point that i couldnt explain and couldnt answer allm the questions
