same thing happens to me on ma 13 inch. Just pull the other side up and it will stop. scared the hell out of me one time when it was major but it was the table. A slight bend wont do anything though. Its made by apple

It's called warping, it happens when they bend it into shape it is most definitely that Mac air only

Get it replaced. My 11-inch MBA is flush with any flat surface, so your's probably came slightly bent right out of manufacturing.
