@WebVManReturns lol Austin was scripted shit rtfuhj is talking about real life. Ultimate warrior is the only guy I can think of that comes close to nailz when he Held up Vince for a bunch of money right before he was supposed to do his run in to save Hogan at wrestlemania
I grew up watching Mr. Perfect and the Big Boss Man, and it's still hard to believe they're both dead. Watching this clip almost made it seem like all of this happened yesterday.
The photos remind me of the ones taken by Rodney King after his notorious beating...guess that's why the angle was so scary to me when I watched it back then.
I always wondered what happend to the Bossman with all this Nailz thing. These cover ups make me howl. Like Earthquake injuring Andre. Or Monsoon having one last pop in the ring against Vader before an operation.
Impact: The ratings are sinking, Flair is too old to talk about sex (gross), Way too short tag match and Morgan is awful Hernandez is juiced, 3 wasted segments on Bubba's radio show w/ JJ (never drew a dime), retarted backstage segments with Bischoff and Hogan.zzzzzzz , Pope vs. Orland starts off great, suddenly ends way too fast, pointless 20 seconds girl match, Young stuck with 3 grandpas who cant move cmon.. Nasty Boys?!, let's do a SCREW JOB.. (wwe just did that) GARBAGE!!!
@FuccThatShitNigga Wow! Lucky that Big Boss Man had a car crash with his WWF costume on, and that cameras were there to catch him in case of a storyline. I mean, it's not like WWF ever used makeup on wrestlers like Bret Hart in 1990 or Batista in 2010...phew!
@MediaActivist not saying they did or did not use makeup....but you do realize that after a car crash, the wounds dont instantly go away....so, he could of gotten out of the hospital, vince told him to put the ring attire on, so they could take pics, and say nailz beat the shit outta him....god you're fucking stupid, lololol
@ryanakahuss Yeah I'm so stupid, thanks, I didn't realise that! Wow. NO, Big Boss Man didn't have a "car crash"; he made every house show at that time and only stayed out of the ring to sell the injuries from the "attack" from Nailz. Geez, stop being a mark. IT WAS A WORK.
@MediaActivist yes that last line by perfect was funny, "you're even stupider than i thought!". great dayz. i wanna go in time in the 80's and live there.
Boss Man & Mr. Perfect did have feud for the Intercontinental Title back in '91. They wrestled at Wrestlemania that year. Boss Man won by DQ I believe but Mr. Perfect still retained the title.
Sad that both of these guys have since passed away:-(
@ckendall67 It's unbelievable that both these guys were actually in WWE in the past 10 years and have now died. I remember Mr. Perfect and British Bulldog coming back in th eearly 2000s. Now they are gone. it's unreal.
Even when he turned face he was still hitting his opponents with the nightstick.I remember He handcuffed Playboy Buddy Rose and instead of hitting him in the ribs he hit him right on his fat ass and he when flying out the ring dangling from the rope because he was still handcuffed.
They were both great. I liked the feud they had when Heenan made fun of Boss Man's mother. It was cool watching them talk here. Perfect was awesome as a broadcaster, wrestler, and of course as the "executive consultant" to Flair. Boss Man (Ray Traylor) was a great face & heel. Not too many men his size could move like him, though he lost a lot of weight later on compared to his size in the 80's.
It's possible a couple bruises are real, but yeah, it's mostly makeup. Even when acting, one mistake with a nightstick can injure someone if not careful. Wrestling is a rough business, and scripted or not, accidents happen, and injuries are common. I'm sure more than once a wrestler has carelessly injured another, and out back the injured one says "Hey, me and you need to have a talk."
That clip is on here somewhere, IMO one of the all-time funniest feuds in wrestling history. Although the final showdown sorta sucked, but the lead in was great, LOL.
Idiots. The pictures are unrelated to the angle. Ray Traylor was an actual prison guard before he became a 'rassler and probably did a few other things that could have got him fucked up like that. They just dug up some old pictures of him after a legit beatdown and used them for the angle.
Perfect is a dead ringer for The Brain during this.
