Phil Collins has one of the most harmonizing voices of our times. And you put it together with another great voice, and you get a rich, sounding piece of music. It makes me shiver, when i listen to it, over and over again. Well done.

One of the most underrated and underplayed songs of all time. I'm a staunch conservative but hippy Crosby and Collins did a wonderful job with this song.
@amishmike1 politics?? politics have nothing to do with this. What is a "hippy" what the fuck do you know about all those years ago? Unless you lived it, shut the fuck up Amish.
Damn, I wish these two could have done a piece together 30 years ago instead of this era. Could you imagine how beautiful that would have been, to hear them both in their prime, singing their hearts out, playing the most beautiful music ever? I will always love them both but this song doesn't do the justice of their skill level.
Dad's been gone almost 5 years now, miss him everyday. My dad did what it took to put 4 boys through school. He is my personal hero. I love you Dad and on judgement day, I pray we will be in Heaven together... with your beloved wife, my Mother.
@eatatmargos Thanks for that brief picture of your father. This song really reflects on our fathers and should make all of us aware of how much they mean to us whether they're here or beyond.
@Bungumuridzo .... what a load of crap ... lol ... Phil Collins co-produced Crosbys album. Phil never went to jail. And the song is about all sorts of things. It's NOT about Phils wife visiting Phil in jail. Where do you get this stuff???
@Bungumuridzo --- WTF??? Where did you pull that out of??? If you're going to make up a bullshit story at least make it somewhat believable. The song wasn't written for anyone in particular and Phil was never in jail. If you're going to slander someone back it up with credible sources, otherwise go sell it to the Enquirer.
Can you please please email me this video. It would mean so much to me...even down to the Christmas VH1 logo. Please Please Please....I will send you my email address if you accept.

A wonderful song with inspiring words. I've loved this song from the first time I heard it.
Sadly, the video does not seem to match with song at all.

@rfranklinw1 He is a hippy. I love this song and enjoy his music but lets' not be politically correct. Crosby is a hippy true blue.
