I am Raymond who was on this very first episode.The day before we draw numbers to see who will play, but all 12 of us go to the tv station get dressed, have makeup put on us, and get wined,dined, and get put up in a really nice hotel the night before we tape. We don't know till right before the tapeing who will play what games. I was very happy to have played safe cracker, won a respectable amount of money and won that beautiful trip. I continue to buy the scratcher tickets.

The California Lottery feels that The Big Spin felt too tiresome and they needed a face change. so that's why they ended up changing the face of the game and the economy going at the rate, they wanted to give away more cash.

No, it was canceled because market research showed that it lacked excitement and production value.

It also looked like the show increased the advertising revenue by showing products that the original "Big Spin" never had it was pure cash with no extra products.

Not bad, people always get some money. How did those people got selected for which game? The safes are much better than the spinning thing earlier.

I'm not quite sure, I think what it is I would think they were prepped earlier to see who would win and they would not be heard until that time comes.

I bet that they draw numbers or some other corny way to determine the 3 contestants for Lucky Penny, 2 for Safe Cracker, 1 for CA Cool & 6 for the Millionaire Game.
I agree that I am not a fan of the show right out of the gate. Maybe with the addition of more games I could grow to like it.

They could have stopped the game at 3:30 because there were two empty safes left with no "extra cash" left.

It's a modified version of "Break the Piggy Bank" from "Flamingo Fortune".
Why Goodson isn't producing this, I don't know.
