Hello PokeCyrus, might I suggest some new ways to get some new players, and keep them? I really advise you allow people to whisper no matter what, even without gym badges. I'm not sure you can w/o badges, and it's really hard to communicate with my friends and find them. Also, you shouldn't make gyms SOOO DAMNNN HARD, i've read the guides, but still they are rather hard, me and my 3 friends played PCO, and we all said the same things. Also, make trading allowed for anyone with, say 2 badges Thx

The game looks like crap from this video, whereas other Pokemon MMO's have already adapted border map viewing, correct sprite ratios, animated tilesets, full sound library (attack sounds) and, best of all, up to date battle mechanics and (correct) formulas.
In this game, sprites are stretched, battle outcomes are totally different compared to the handheld, and they like to wipe their account database.
The only upside, if it is what this person is saying, you can put the EV points you would normally gain from defeating certain pokemon, is that you can assign these EV points to any stat, of your choice. If it isn't that... then this game fails. This is TOTALLY deviating away from what Pokemon is.
Actually, there is another upside, but I'll have to analyze and see if its true, but all other Pokemon MMO's do NOT have an AI system. This'll be the first, and is well needed in the Pokemon MMO scene
I have played the game, awhile back. But from the presented video, I am only giving an analysis based on this. What I say is true, BASED ON THE VIDEO. If it has changed, they should consider uploading a new video.
Instead of saying what I said is false, you should be pointing out what is true. Its obvious they don't have border map viewing, the sprites are not proportioned, no animated tiles (I'll just stop there to prevent repeating myself).
The uploader also fails to mention the extensive use of the features, and why it was done. This leaves the player base feeling cheated and/or uninformed.
What I'm saying is opinion and fact. The uploader should be clarifying and possibly release another video fully explaining WHY, which most development groups fail to realize.
I got just one question for you , have you ever tried to actually play this game, to give your best and to become the best?.. You srsly should , and you also should accept my msn invitation , i have few more questions to ask you.. btw nice vid.
no when you beat a Pokemon game in a hour you end up hacking the game making it your own way lol xD like starting the game with losers pokemon as Wurmple weedle and caterpie xD
I love this game. It's a bit tough to train your Pokemon though. But like he said, the joy of it evolving or beating gym leaders is amazing! Overall, this game is actually better than anything Nintendo has, and will ever make!

and for the chat .. u can get badge 1 and chat as u wish this is not proplem ....

Have you even played the game ?
Yes it has its faults of a corrupt admin (Mondo) but everything you said there is false.
Also PCO is still a beta so yes, there will be wipes.
Cyrus has done a good job on the game
