  • how can the cars do it, its crasy.

  • he have a big balls

  • @TheCosby47 he made his theory befor we had any vehicles. we naturaly want to try and defy physics and get an adreneline rush doing so. for some they want to run things in bone stock jeeps or landrovers, others pay top dollar to make rigs that can go farther and climb steeper. i have a bronko that has been jacked up like crazy and that doesnt resemble a bronko anymore. i go farther and i climb steeper. but dont dog on others for going out and having fun with what they have

  • Outstanding......Landrovers for the win!

  • Why a million views???? This suck... it distroy the environement and is just without an interest.

  • @floflo108 get a life homo

  • @floflo108 I hate the environment and can't wait to roam the wastelands in my 4x4. I'll be wearing buttless chaps and an iron mask, eating people and taking their gasoline. <3

  • @Ozarkarms I'm happy for your children.

  • @Ozarkarms thats madmax your thinking of......

  • @floflo108 why do you watch it?

  • That is fuckin sketchy!!!

  • Land rovers suck that's barely an incline in the middle and the front tires started liftin up you'll kill yourself in that rig boy

  • @2strokequad Land Rovers do NOT suck. That's a pretty steep incline--any 4x4 would lean back enough on that to make the tires squeal, especially if the surface isn't smooth. I would put a stock Rover up against a stock.....anything else any day!

  • @2strokequad dude you can see all the squeal marks from thousands of other trucks doing the same. even top dollar rigs would do that on this hill. it the laws of physics. this guy want up, issac newtan says he cant. naturally we push our self, and our rigs.

  • What's the degree of pitch at the very top? Looks even more insane than the lower / mid part?

  • think ill stick with mud haha

  • That's it. I'm getting my self a god damn Land Rover.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU SEEN THE SHOW ON TV WHERE THEY EAT SHIT ON THIS HILL

  • @jessyrules1000 haha could you explain more?

  • @jessyrules1000 its also the video that led me to this one

  • @jessyrules1000 its one of the next videos here on youtube dude

  • @jessyrules1000 this the one where they lose their brakes?

  • @amm8914 yup

  • How do you get down?

  • uhmm no thanks

  • You think this is hard? Lions back is easy... I want to see that Land Rover go up Gorillas back, Or Raccoons belly. Now that would impress me!

  • I think you mean published. Run your sh*t through Word before you try and be a scholar!

  • @boxerdude671 I think you meant to suck on my nut sack, instead of picking fault because I clicked on the wrong word when spell, why don't you try and put something useful into the conversation? or are you incapable? stoned perhaps? oh and please tell me if I made any spelling mistakes, or if I am being grammatically correct, because I really need you to do that for me

  • You wana do it in a landcruiser vx amazon not that old shite

  • @redskeleton2 o, what witty re-iteration of your last post. From only seeing this argument, and your reliance on hear say and false propaganda as opposed to what the actual scientific facts are, it appears that you are the one that needs to start protecting what few brain cells you have left.

  • @RovingLandRover or is that merely what pharmaceutical and alcohol companies want YOU to believe to protect their income? These studies were published in the AMJ and the British Journal of Medicine, both of which have extremely strict standards, so try again. Please, please, find me just one published study saying that it is just as dangerous as alcohol or tobacco, and I will agree w/ you. until then it is scientific fact that it is healthier than any other drug, even alcohol and aspirin.

  • @daBlade80 Finding a punished paper saying that it is just as dangerous as alcohol is impossible as non have been done, and they will never be done due no organization wanting said comparisons. However there are published papers concluding that smoking marijuana can cause increased rates of anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, heart attacks, and can contain up to 50 percent more carcinogenic hydrocarbons than tobacco smoke, it is by no means a "healthier drug"

  • @akaAlexthekid My friend... More people die from alcohol (including accidents caused by alcohol) than people die from Marijuana, Cocaine, LSD, Mushrooms, and Cristal Meth combined. You my friend must be a drunk protecting his favorite drug. I had three great friends that died in a car driven by a drunk.

  • @chonyc77 I haven't touched alcohol, non-prescribed drug's or cigarettes in over 6 years, and I am in no way promoting alcohol, as you quite rightly say it kills a hell of a lot of people, mostly due to the fact that it's the most consumed drug in the world by a long way. But just because something kills less people doesn't mean its safe, you wouldn't try putting your head in the mouth of a great white shark because less people die from doing that then driving a car

  • @RovingLandRover actually, current studies show that marijuana actually helps protect brain cells against injury, especially from drinking, both binge drinking in adults, and it helps mitigate the harm done by teen drinking. It also halts the growth of 8 different types of cancer, and has even shown in rats that it causes the growth of new brain cells. But keep spouting off learned falsehoods instead of bothering to check out scientific facts.

  • @RovingLandRover Enjoy your minimum wage job at Taco Bell, son. Where's your video? You have nothing until you show me a video.

  • @RovingLandRover Oh, and by the way, you're a no-video having troll. Get off my sack, boy.

  • @RovingLandRover The jeep drivers at least had the bals to go THROUGH the mud holes, not AROUND them.

  • @RovingLandRover The Camel Trophy Club is a bunch of old people that want comfort over anything else. Look up CJ5 and you'll be amazed. Fangirl.

  • @RovingLandRover Jeep has done the same, thank YOU FAN BITCH. I see plenty of Jeeps next to Toyota Land Cruisers out in the deep Australian outback. And with a username like yours, you have no room to talk about calling me a fanboy. Oh, I forgot to mention, there's more Jeeps at Moab than anything else. Why? Because they are superior in every way off road. Yeah, a Land Rove and Toyota will do good on a dirt road with some potholes, but a Jeep will go 45 degrees to an irrigation ditch and get it.

  • ya um. fuck that

  • Land Rover: something you buy when you're a spoiled rich queer and you want your car to do all the work for you.

  • @brapboys503

You're right. I can't stand 4x4s that are good off road. Better to do this kinda thing in a Ford Escort, right?

  • @blibbax No, better to do this in a vehicle that won't cost a year's mortgage to fix if it breaks. Like a Jeep.

  • @brapboys503

    Insurance ftw!

Also, if people can afford to buy a more capable vehicle, why shouldn't they? You run a risk of damage every time you use a car, on road or off, but is this really a reason to run the cheapest possible vehicle that's fit for purpose? I think not.

  • @blibbax Insurance FTL! If the insurance company found out how it was wrecked, you wouldn't get a dime. Jeeps are better anyway.

  • @brapboys503

That depends on your insurance, and where you drive off road. Jeeps are better anyway? That's either fanboyism or trolling, so I'll just leave it be.

  • @blibbax Neither one. Just simple fact. The land rover won't go most places a bad ass Jeep could go. 4 feet of mud? I'll take the Jeep. Land Rovers are like Toyota 4Runners, they're greata on the rocks and trails, but god forbid you get into a little mud.

  • @brapboys503

If it was actually 4 feet of mud (as opposed to 4 foot deep muddy water) I wouldn't want to take any stock car available in the UK, but given comparable levels of modification to each vehicle, I'd take a Range Rover. Might as well be comfy!

  • trop boooooo

  • That's cool and all, but it looks like you could do it with a 1975 VW Rabbit. The high center of gravity of a 4x4 is only going to make this more dangerous.

  • @TexPhoto 90% of the other spots at Moab would crush a Rabbit like a cheap McDonald's toy. 4X4 Jeeps are the best thing to have out there.

  • @brapboys503 Oh yea, this video is all about the other spots.

  • @TexPhoto You said a Rabbit could do that easily. If it could make it there, hurrdurr!

  • @brapboys503 I did say that. This means you can read! hurrdurr indeed!

  • @TexPhoto Oh ha, that was a good one.

  • @brapboys503 Lions Back is a 25 degree hill of solid rock. Plenty of driveways that steep. It's 1/4 mile from a paved road, and has a well maintained dirt road to get you there. It looks really cool in videos, especially if you tilt the camera way back, but it may as well be a freeway onramp with no guard rails for all the challenge is posses.

  • @TexPhoto Okay, well being from Canada originally and living on the West Coast, I've never been to Utah (heard there's alot of waaaaay too creepy Mormon freaks out there), but shoot my Datsun pickup can get up crazier shit than that!

  • Why is it you don't see Hummers doing stuff like this?

  • @clydesdale99 cuz hummer sucks

  • land rovers built for shit like that......

  • I like these LRs but prefer the 4.0 six engines of the Jeep Cherokees.

  • i the frist person went there by my toyota camry before 10 yers = )

    ^

  • EEERRRRRP!! EEEERRP! ERP!! EEEEEEEERRRRRPP!

  • i would shit my pants climbing that hill in a car. i would rather walk this one :)

  • @34kevin34 Well I guess that's what seperates the men from the boys then.

  • @nornevhardcore lol well i am still a kid :) a couple years from driving. so maybe that will be enough time for me to grow some balls.

  • Thats like video game race type shit

  • impressive

  • Ja pierdole.... prawie pion...

  • it's annoying that hills don't look as steep on cameras!

  • I agree with mrsemp..... many ways down , only one GOOD way down , the rest turn out badly....... look around on youtube n see the many BAD ways to come bk down lol ..... I would do it tho.... love jeepin' !!!!

  • I take ti he went around the other side and not back the same way?...:)

  • fricken hell no....skeered me just watching

  • nice rollcage....

  • done well

  • scared me and im just watching on you tube turning round at the top must be scary !!

  • i got a question whats up there that is so important that u would risk your life going up there and comeing back down

  • @wadam7298, nothing is up there. It's all about being able to make it up & down in the first place. Why do people climb mountains? Not because they need to get up to the top, but for the challenge.

  • The "sport" that takes two balls to play the game! Freakin awesome.

  • Nice work.

  • All that way and no McDonalds lol

  • damn!!

  • A melhor forma de se escalar uma montanha!!! x)

  • Huh.I will go up and down with my bycicle!

  • I ride mountainbikes down crap like that, fun as heck

  • NO tiene nada sorprendente. por ahi sube hasta una gandola sin problema.

  • omg dont want your computer to fail going down there.

  • I feel sick just watching this!!! I would love to think that I'd have the balls to drive my Landy up there!

  • @mikeealarcon come bk down lol :D

  • 300lbs of torque at 2600 rpm I love discos fuck the other 4x4s they dont got nothing on landrover's. Next to hummer they are the king of off road machines.

  • Wath a wonderful diver...

  • what if you fell down thats pretty fucking steep

  • Correction, one way up... many ways down.

  • that is fucking awesome

  • the guy is crazy

  • what??? this sht sucks i go up faster and bigger

  • torque

  • thats fuckin nuts

  • Now I want to see him come back down the same way.

  • @ozjenva There is only one way up one way down. Land Rover has this cool button its for Hill Decent. You just push it and steer the Rover will do the rest. No Break. Just steer.. Quite Easy actually. They closed this hill too many people without Land Rovers.. lol

  • @BP3DP Cripes, I would be scared just to walk it, let alone being in a Land Rover, these people have a death wish, or nerves of steel. :-)

  • @ozjenva The Red Rock sand stone is real sticky. Watch some Mt. Bike video of Moab Utah. I live here and have been going there my whole life. You would enjoy the desert here in Southern Utah it is real beautiful. Also type in Goblin Valley Utah and Lake Powell Utah.

  • @BP3DP I am sure it's beautiful country, for me it would be just as beautiful standing on terra firma taking in the view. Just call me chicken. :-)

  • @ozjenva I'm with you on that one. I don't think I'd even be brave enough to stand where the camera guy is, lol. Pretty sure he'd be over with if the rover came back down

  • tats fuckedd

  • feking hell, what if it felll back :S

  • I did not see them come down. that's were the skill is. As for the landy and hummer 2 well they just can go were a jeep can. Sorry guys :''""(

  • @kowz4u are you being sarcastic?

  • @jm442266 Yeah just a little chain pullin , goat gettin. OIIIIIIIO :)

  • @kowz4u I have a TJ. OIIIIIIIO

  • Yea to bad they closed "Lions Back" about 4 years ago. some stupid asshole kids in a toyota rolled off the right side all Coked out nearly killed all 4.

  • As much faith as I'd have in the vehicle, I don't think I'd be standing behind it, just in case.

  • would anyone do thant with a manual trans???

  • @xpez I would

  • With a first gear crawl ratio, like in a SM465, yes. It wouldn't be that hard either. Very slow gear.

  • @xpez I would not do it with an automatic transmission.

I'm English and been driving all sorts of Landrovers for just over ten years. I feel i have more control over the vehicle with a manual trans than an auto as it changes gear when I want it to, I can slow the vehicle on the trans how I want to. (not used decent control in the disco or RR)

  • @yorkshiresheep if you engage low range and select sport mode in the disco it essentially creates a manual transmission. It will not shift up or down a gear. it will stay in the gear you select. D-3-2-1. (D being 4th gear) But i do agree that there will always be more control with manual.

  • hmzcant seem to find a guy who isnt a coward

  • you must own a donkey

  • There's this spot in the Land Rover Dealership obstacle course, where only two cars in the world can stop without tipping over, one is the H1 and another is the Discovery 2.

  • @LebaneseShowoff a bowler wildcat would have a good bloody go

  • or a G Class or UNIMOG

  • Comment removed

  • @mynottwst Disovery

  • @theberengersniper i was refering to someones comment on a bowler wildcat which is based on the lr defender.

  • @mynottwst My mistake, sorry.

  • @mynottwst No its not you tit its a discovery, DUH!!

  • sorry as some of my previous comments state it was meant as a reply to someone talking about a bowler wildcat.

  • achei q ia cair

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • learn something new everyday i guess

  • ok that was impressive but rovers are top heavy s.o.b's and who said all americans like hummers, i think the civilianized hummers are crap, i've had a millitary hummer in places a rover could only dream, i'm talking mud up halfway the door with water flowing over the tops of the doors, man that was a fun day, anyway nice vid

  • @mikeyhelikesit77 Top heavy? More than the H1, but not bad at all. They look like it, but they always have looked that way. Everything heavy is low in the car.

  • @mikeyhelikesit77 lol maybe in mud .. but only because of is size the hummer is plain bullshit in the wood

  • @mikeyhelikesit77 been there, done that, towed a suzuki out with a 1960's ex military light-weight landrover.

There are places a millitary hummer can get that a millitary landrover can't but wading isn't one of them - the brittish millitary can wade out through the sea to a landing craft, the only issue being the driver's ability to breathe!

  • no bumper... so no turn sig's on the rover.. sweet

  • Rear bumper fell off when going over Hell's Revenge. We thought it was well built but the rear bumper got be and broke off. Too bad. I guess not American steel.

  • wow...simply amazing

  • that is sick!

  • theres a saying in ireland which goes like this' tae fck with that !

  • ti coddi che sarei salito...

  • lol love seeing those front wheels lightly bouncing off lol! steeeeep,

  • fuck that... lol ill admit i wouldnt

  • Or even a Geo Tracker. I was at Lion's back to see a whole group of Hummers go up this for a magazine photo op thinking they were so special with their expensive new toys, and then a guy in a stock Geo Tracker followed them up and back down without even a skid or a chirp. He really showed up all those yuppies.

  • well, the guy in the geo must have been one badass driver. or a lucky nutjob. lol

  • Ya, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it. It was pretty amazing.

  • did you know the guy? was he actually that good, or did he just get lucky?

  • Didn't know him. He just pulled up by himself as the last of the Hummers was going up, and he went up and came back down just as easily as the Hummers. All us spectators were pretty amazed. He looked to be in his early thirties, and must have been an experienced driver.

  • hmm...ok.

  • you were all surprised co you all think hummers are the best well have you never heard of landrover the greatest 4x4 of all time oh and the most important bit there english

  • I like Landrover. I also like the Hummer H3. If Landrover replacement parts were just as available as Hummer parts, I'd probably take a Landrover over an H3. However, my current American SUV will do anything and more than the Landrover SUV in the same class.

  • one word landrover

  • Save your money and buy a Suzuki. They'll do this just as easily at a fraction of the price.

  • yeh except when you put it in the mud you'll get stuck

  • let a Tundra climb on that

  • Break down every 100 miles? Er ... I don't know. Mine (a 1970 series 2a 109 SW) odometer's broke and stuck at 100 km (maybe after rolled many many 100k kilometers). All I knew is if it putters a little bit rough then it needs oil change. That's it. The rest is nice stroll along bushes, muddy banks, forest's tracks, and occasionally ... shallow river! Every where Ferrari and Aston Martin DB9 will never dare.

  • wow lol nice video

  • i wanna get somebody with a lot of experience to take me on that. id never drive it myself, cuz it looks scary as hell.

  • i second that, my arse would have been gripping the seat

  • this should be a land rover commerical maybe people would buy them even though they break down every 100 miles =]
